My fiancé and I are heading to Alaska this May to get married after 12 amazing years together! When it came to picking ties and pocket squares I knew I wanted something unique for him and our dads. I searched high and low and couldn’t find anything I liked, then I came across Kind Design! Like most social media adds I was a little skeptical at first but I sent an email anyway. It didn’t take long to hear back from their General Manager, Wylie. He was so incredibly helpful with my questions, picking the perfect colors and they had a mock up of the design sent so fast! We were told it would take roughly 40 days before we received them and I got them in TWO WEEKS, I was amazed. They even added the name of the river onto the back of the ties which is such a nice touch!Seriously cannot recommend this company enough and can’t wait to see these worn on our wedding day!Thank you Kind Design Team!

My husband and I were looking for a way to incorporate something unique into his wedding suit. We came across the topographic ties from Kind Design and it was the perfect solution! We used the location of our proposal and it's one of my favorite details from the wedding. It feels so special to both of us. The team at Kind Design was incredibly helpful and responsive with ordering. First I had some questions about the process, and they got back to me super quickly. Then after we finally picked our colors and ordered the tie, I realized the next morning I had written down the location in the order box wrong. I emailed asking if there was any way to update the order, and Wylie got back to me immediately and was able to help no problem. They sent the proof for approval the next day. The tie itself is beautiful and matched the proof exactly. My husband loves it and looks forward to any occasion where he can show it off.

We ordered a custom mountain topographic map (where we proposed) for my husband for our wedding. He, and all of the guests, absolutely loved it. We were able to order the color to match the wedding colors, and the topographic map style looked amazing, both subtle and interesting once up close. Wylie and the Kind Design team even went above and beyond to incorporate the mountain summit and our exact proposal spot on the same tie - it just looked amazing! We would highly recommend for anyone looking for a great gift.

I ordered ties for my groom and his guys and dad. Oh boy did they ever turn out AMAZING. I've been gushing over these since I got the first proof back. I teared up when I saw ties in person. I color matched each tie using the swatch of the dress, and they're literally perfect (group picture- there standing close to their match, but not in the proper prder). We used the address of the house my husband and 5/6 groomsmen lived at in college (we got a completely different color for hubby since I already had a floral tie to match every girl's dress). The address being printed on the back is the absolute cherry on top and all the boys were obsessed. AMAZING service. AMAZING product. Only note is that ties need to be aired out and febreezed before use. 100/10 would order again and worth it for sentiment alone.

I ordered a topo tie for my husband to wear for our wedding and I gave it as a gift the morning of our wedding. The topo tie was the perfect subtle, sentimental and beautiful touch we had on wedding day. A few years ago we did a thru hike of The Foothills Trail. It took us 6 days and really tested us physically and mentally. That trip was a huge part of us and how we work as a team. We both ended up mentioning the hike in our vows. Working with Kind Design to have the custom tie was a great experience. I entered in the coordinates of The Foothills Trail and picked one of the many options for colors. Kind Design took care of everything from acquiring the map to showing me proofs along the way and making adjustments. I picked a color that was slightly different from the groomsmen ties and it looked great. The business is small and locally owned in Boulder, CO and they believe in giving back to preserve our beautiful lands, this is a huge bonus that I am happy to support! The whole way through I could feel the effort on their end to make it a great experience. I highly recommend a custom topo tie from Kind Design, it was a special part of our day and I am so lucky to have found them!

The team at Kind Design created a beautiful set of custom ties for my husband, his groomsmen and my father-in-law for our wedding late summer 2020. We got married in Arctic Valley, Alaska and having the topographic map, of the wedding location on the ties was a wonderful hidden gem. I wanted something special to remember our big day that would also be a great gift for those who made the trip to Alaska and i'm happy they turned out awesome. The process was super easy and the team was great to work with. I was able to find the perfect color from the extensive swatch samples provided. After I found the location of our wedding vows and sent the GPS coordinates, the team generated the design and I was able to approve a proof before it went into production. The ties showed up right on schedule. They look great, good quality fabric, and color is spot on. The map design is visible but not overpowering. All in all a great product.

For my wedding I purchased a topo tie of where I proposed in Santorini (yes, they have international topography) and it was all-around perfect; the colors, the design, everything. I have several Kind Design t-shirts that I’ve worn weekly for going on several years now. Superior quality shown to stand up to the test of time! Wish they would start making more t-shirt designs again though. Have several other pieces of Kind Design goodies (hats, belts, ties, etc) but have always loves the t-shirt designs the best.

Awesome ties for a personal touch! I proposed to my wife in the mountains near keystone and we wanted to incorporate that into our wedding somehow. With Kind Design, we were able to select the exact point where I proposed and get topographic ties of the surround area. The ties were delivered in time for the wedding and everyone loved them. I still find myself wearing this tie for special occasions.

I purchased ties and pocket squares for my groomsmen with the street map of the city they are from on them. The ability to get custom locations, and a wide range of colors to choose from meant these will work great for my wedding. Wylie was very helpful ensuring I knew what the options were and just how they would come out. One note I didn't think of beforehand, it would be nice to include the coastline when getting a street map printed so it's easier to identify rivers and waterfront. Overall, great product and great service!

As part of my groom's wedding outfit, ordered a custom bow tie and pocket square with the GPS location of our first date. The color swatch they send you helped us perfectly match the color to his vintage suspenders. Couldn't have been happier with the result. They were so patient with my various annoying follow up questions about if the color of the topo lines would match his suit. it turned out so great and felt so special.

We loved that we were able to add a sentimental piece to our wedding in such a different way. Let me say how impressed I am with your company's product. Not only did the tie look amazing, it turned out even better than I could have imagined. It got loads of compliments from our friends and family. I grew up in the Roaring Fork Valley and have always been very proud of where I come from. I also have a minor in GIS and have always loved topographic maps. You can actually point out where my family's ranch is on the topographic map on the tie, which I think is incredibly unique and special. I will always have the tie to remind me of the special place I was fortunate enough to grow up in, along with the special day in which I got married. So thank you for that!

He was incredibly responsive (always emailed back within hours), he let me see the design before going to printing, and even made a change, and the ties turned out perfect. I originally posted this review on 9/14.I had ordered a shirt that cost nearly $150 on May 31st - I started wondering where it was after several months. My multiple attempts to either get the shirt or a refund were not responded to until I gave them a one star review.As soon as I did I received a refund. I was also contacted by the Wylie the General Manager on 9/15 with a request that I take down the Google review and they would send me the shirt for free to make it right. I did.Still no shirt..... I don't know what is going at this company but buyer beware.
