This is the kind of place that I most associated with Boulder. When I think of Boulder as a city. Quirky and ethereal stores like this come to my mind. I enjoyed the sensory feasts the displays evoked as I just wandered around and enjoyed the light, airy atmosphere. The kites and such were so colorful and a lot of families were wandering around, playing with the displays and clearly enjoying themselves. There were a few kids blithely running around, in such a carefree manner you would think they were at Disney World. That's the kind of response this place evokes, and I think adults feel it as strongly as kids. In the back, there is a glow-in-the-dark room that looks like a mix of some sci-fi dreamworld and a psychedelic landscape straight from the 1960s. Come here and enjoy the playful, wondrous atmosphere.

Absolutely amazing store! Of course wind has a lot to play into the selection of products but the amount of fun little trinkets they have is fantastic. I’ve never seen so many fun little things in one place from black light posters to mini rubber chickens this store has so much to offer. Absolutely 10/10 recommend

I wish I had more time in this shop because there are so many things to see, including the ceiling! There was a great selection of kites, wind chimes, puzzles, games, fidgets, marbles, sensory toys, glow in the dark items, science kits, books, musical instruments, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful, and I purchased several gifts for upcoming birthdays and Christmas.

The most magical of shops on Pearl Street. A long time staple and home to toys of all kinds from tops and marbles to disc golf and books, this shop has it all. You can find kites, puzzles, things to build, things for pranks, and plenty of different types of balls. Don’t miss an opportunity to check this hands on store out.

Into the wind excellent little consignment store souvenir shop in Boulder Colorado. Off pearl st stop by say high to the wonderful ladies they are great highly recommended. Plus enjoy the beautiful scenery.

What a fun store!All of the colors make me happy! Believe me when I tell you that there's something for everyone in this store. The ceiling is covered in cool, colorful kites, wind chimes, sun catchers etcetera. There are lots of assorted cool things like games, puzzles, gag gifts, wind-up toys, black light posters and a zillion more fun, cool or funky little items. I can imagine quite a bit of time is whiled away in this place!

Stellar kite and toy store. If you can't find a kite for your loved one here, your just blind. They have kites that will take you up with them if not anchored down. They have wind socks, chimes, kites, toys, black light things and more. Very sweet and helpful sales help to assist you.The sky is the limit to what they have.

I visited this store with a friend because it seemed like a quirky and exciting place. I was just browsing through looking at all the knick knacks and toys they have but the entire time I was being followed by an employee as if I was some theif. For that reason, I considered my time in this store to be unenjoyable and honestly I felt insulted.

Amazing! This was our first trip to Boulder, and this shop was definitely a highlight. There was so much to see. The selection of kites was top-notch, but there were so many other toys and games to look at. This may become a destination every time we are in Denver.

About 6 years ago I ordered this kite from Into the Wind. It was my second one. Service was quick and kite is a great product and price. Flies perfect in just about any conditions. Highly recommend any of the products.

Into the Wind is an institution on the Pearl Street Mall, with at least thirty years of operation, and a must see place to visit for kids or anyone who enjoys a little whimsy. They feature a wide selection of colorful custom made kites, including those with a single line and stunt kites with two or more control lines. They also have a great selection of creative and thought provoking toys, games, and decorations. Lots of disc golf supplies for that most Boulder of activities. Prices are quite reasonable, staff are friendly, and the experience is worthwhile.

Very rude store clerk (man with a beard) . As a customer from out of the country, I could not make a purchase using my credit card because I did not have a US zip code?! Funny how I was able to pay in all the other stores. The man didn’t seem to care anyway. Would not recommend.

Great place to find a kite to take to the park. On Pearl street so this shop can be busy at times. There are also other toys and trinkets to purchase.

This store is *the thing* that makes Pearl Street fun for kids. Good, old fashioned toy store great for stocking stuffers, Easter basket fillers and novelty toys and games. I also love the marbles. Fun even without kids!

I was at this store today but certainly will never return to it. I visited the store a few years ago to buy some stuff for my son, and today I came back with him for more. He was choosing what he wanted to buy when an employee came up to him and accused him of stealing some dices. He said he didn’t had anything and the person just said ok. After he told me, I went to talk to the manager. The employee who accused him said she saw him put stuff in his pocket and the manager said that because it was Christmas Eve, he was going to give it to him. We refused it right away. Not only because my son was accused without proof and for no reason, but also for how rude the employees were. It felt like xenophobia for us because we are not from the U.S. The manager further said we were making a big deal out of it, which was really offensive to us. Accusing people of stealing is something very serious and no one should be treated like we were today. Just take care if you plan to go to this store! We definitely don’t recommend it.
