I think over the past 6 years I tried every vet in Boulder. 3 years ago I was referred to Dr. Brockmann and her team at Boulder Natural Animal Hospital. The relief and gratitude I felt to have Nikki finally receive what I felt was the best care possible, especially for her senior years, was profound. Dr. Brockmann has the compassion and kindness toward animals and their owners that I found missing at other local vets. I am so grateful to her and her team for love and attention she showed my sweet girl over the years and up until her last breathe. Thank you Boulder National Animal Hospital!

First time in the office was a pretty typical experience! I did get slightly over charged for something, I believe, but it was only a few dollars (charged for a 30 pack when I only received 10).Otherwise they were very courtesy and kind to my cat!

Great care for my dog! And in the waiting room, they have a special, enclosed place where folks with cats can sit maybe? away from dogs? But it also has toys in there, so I always sit there with my dog and baby toddler so he can roam free.

We love the crew at Boulder's Natural! They've always taken very good care of our pets and us. We lost our family's first cat early due to an undetected genetic condition. We didn't know what to do when she died and everyone there was as kind, helpful, respectful, and caring as we could have hoped when we brought her in. They helped us with the whole process in a very respectful way. We're on our second family cat now and wouldn't think of taking her anywhere else.

I called today, during their "normal business hours". I explained what was wrong with our dog and the receptionist asked for my name. I gave it to her and indicated that I wasn't a current client. Immediately I was told they could not see me today because I wasn't an existing client. I understand that there are minimal appointments on the weekend, but to rule a new client out because they haven't been there before is confusing to me. Unfortunate.

Great experiences every time we go in. They truly care about keeping our boy healthy. They look at the long-term and keep us on track to keep him healthy. The doctor spent most of the appointment on the floor with our dog getting to know him at our first visit. Just goes to show how much they care about the animals.We have had to call with questions a couple of times and they took the time to explain what we should do. We were able to go pick up the ear wash we needed at their store, and use it at home ourselves without having to make an appointment. They always give us options. All the staff is super friendly every time we go in or call. Highly recommended.

Dr. Granger has been AMAZING. Very grateful for my experiences so far with her and Boulder Natural Animal Hospital. Dr. Granger listens with diligence and compassion, and fully explains her philosophies and options while taking my preferences into consideration. As a holistic minded caretaker of my babies, and with previously bad vet experiences, this has a breath of fresh air. She also was SO good in handling my boy. The clinic overall seems very well run as I never had to wait more than a couple minutes for the vet, and they follow through on phone calls. Giving 4 stars due to the cost however, as this has been one of the most expensive vets I’ve ever been to. I would love to see some better considerations made of costs to support people in putting their money where it most matters - such as in their dogs’ nutrition and holistic supplements. But overall again, great experience at this vet. Thank you Dr. Granger!

They are the best! We’ve been seeing Dr. Liv Brockman for around 20 years. Her kindness, gentle demeanor, and compassion complement her deep knowledge and expertise. She has gently cared for all of my dogs, my sweet babies, over the years as they have aged. She helped keep them healthy, but when they experienced traumas and illnesses, even cancer, she thoughtfully treated them and referred us to appropriate specialists when necessary. She has taken such wonderful care of all of them and us. She even came to our home when it was time to help each of them move on. I cannot say enough about Boulder's Natural Animal Hospital! Dr. Brockmann is compassionate, knowledgeable, and excellent with communicating. The staff is also just as wonderful. Dr Brockman and the team here are hands down the best veterinarian with whom I have ever worked. They have been so supportive during a 5 month intense health journey with my dog. Fitting me in when needed, calling me on their days off, and not giving up until we figured out what was truly wrong with my dog. I just want to give a shout out to Boulder’s Natural Animal Hospital and recommend them to anyone looking for a new vet. They take great care of my 3 dogs, but they went above and beyond for my dog Rory toward the end of her life and after her passing. Dr. Granger called at least weekly to check in on our family from the time Rory got her cancer diagnosis until several weeks after her death just to be with us through our grief. We got hand written cards from her too with specificities about Rory you would only know and remember if you loved her. And just now I received a notification of a donation in Rory’s name from Boulder’s Natural Animal to the Boulder Humane Society. And this behavior isn’t unusual - they showed the same love and care during her life that they did after. I just love these people and want others to experience the same care my family has received.

We have followed Dr. Liv Brockman from her previous clinic to this clinic because she is the best vet we have ever encountered. She's cared for 2 cats and now our 17 year old dog. She is compassionate, smart, skilled and resourceful. She brought a tech to my home to take the blood pressure of my elderly cat who resists office visits. She truly cares for her client pets. I give Dr. Brockman and her clinic my highest recommendation.

We went through a sudden end with our golden, and they made us feel so cared and attended to- checking on us with calls, responding quickly to messages, providing clear explanations and also hard truths in the most tender way. I'm absolutely Blown away. I can't even express to you how happy I am that I went to this vet which was mostly swayed by the reviews. I want to make sure i contribute to the fact that made me want to take my cat here and i think you should too! I also went here because i didn't really like my old vet. Dr Adams genuinely want to treat my cat's CAUSE of his symptoms rather than just the symptoms. I think that is the biggest difference a holistic/natural vet clinic is. During the visit she was so thorough with discussion and really wanted to understand history and environment more than just what was happening today. She wrote this email to me after our visit that was clearly tailored to us and not a complete copy paste. She also wants me to track our progress via email or to call. They even took care of getting my pet records so i didn't have to (i always hate doing this even for myself, let alone my pet). The surprising thing was, it wasn't more expensive than taking my kitty to the commercial vet i used to go to.

"Above and beyond the call of duty."I've had my cat, Miley, into Boulder's Natural Animal a year ago and had a great visit with the doc. The doc had great bedside manner (not all vets do, surprisingly) but this is not why I love this place.1. I had questions on annual vaccinations and despite all my online searching the vet called me back, explained very clearly my choices for my pet and let me make the decision versus forcing services on me.2. Just yesterday I called in because my cat was sick. They recommended fasting my cat overnight and to try food in the morning to ease her upset stomach (rather than a visit into the vet that would cost me money and earn them services). They spent at least 15 minutes on the phone with me. The fasting worked and kitty is better but again, this is not why I'm impressed. For no fee and only an annual checkup on my records the office proactively called me this morning to check in on my Miss Miley. What a great crew! I will definitely be back for any needs or questions I have.UPDATE: We now take our dog in with the same amazing results. We like to titer our animals and the whole staff seems versed in titers and helped us decide whether we needed to revaccinate our animals based upon their titer results.2nd Update 2022 August: We moved out to the area and moving away from the care of Dr. Brockman and Boulder's Natural Animal was hard to do. We move internationally and brought our pets. The paperwork, vaccinations and work required to get our pets abroad was massive and yet Dr Brockman and the Boulder's Natural team helped, always with a smile, and went above and beyond to help our pets go through the arduous process and paperwork to bring them here with us. I cannot thank the team enough and would encourage anyone considering the team here to come in and see for yourselves how amazing they are. They really care and it shows in everything they do.

WE LOVE this place and our 10 yr old black lab mix loves it too. I've never had a vet appointment where everyone felt so at ease, most of all our pup. They did some surgery on his mouth and the work was very well done and our pup came home, went to sleep and was almost 100% by the next morning. Boulder's Natural Animal is the best clinic we've ever been to - we wouldn't trust anyone else with our three cats. The entire staff at BNAH is very friendly, warm, and welcoming. Dr. Brockmann has gone above and beyond on so many occasions, even making special home visits after hours to give an exam to one of our cats that won't dare let us take him out of the house, let alone a vets office. She takes her time with our cats and is very gentle with them, treating them how she would her own. The appointments never feel rushed, they are always on time, have great before and after procedure communication, and always come up with a variety of treatment options to tailor to each cats personality. We appreciate everything BNAH has done for us over the years, and recommend them to everyone we can!

We've had a really awesome experience taking our dog and cats to Boulder's Natural Animal Hospital. The staff have been friendly and professional. Our dog is skiddish but BNAH has always managed to make her feel comfortable. They even helped us out in a major bind after one of our cats swallowed a hair tie. They were able to get us in with no notice at all, induced vomiting and out came the hair tie. We're really glad to have found this vet hospital!

Liv Brockmann is the BEST. I've had cats and dogs for years and I would not think of taking them anywhere else. She is a good listener, compassionate, intelligent, and wonderful with animals. She has gone above and beyond the call of duty when I've had sick pets. And if she doesn't know the answer to something, she will do research to figure it out. I feel lucky to have found a vet of her caliber. I highly recommend her.

My husband and I moved back to Boulder in Aug of 2012. One of our worries was finding a vet whom we—our dogs and cats included—could trust. I searched the internet checking out websites for vets in the area, and read a ton reviews trying to find the perfect fit. I came across BNAH and thought that this might be the one. We set up our first appointment and have gone back multiple times since. The staff is wonderful and obviously cares about the animals, their humans, and the customers' experience. The office feels more like a home and the staff more like a family. That makes a big difference. We've been to vets in the past where our one Great Dane would try to hide under the chair so as to not be seen. Here he stands tall, wags his tail, and gives nuzzles to people as they come in the room. We see Dr. Stacy Adams and she is wonderful. She is extremely smart, doesn't push you to do certain treatments unless she truly thinks it is necessary, and has a very kind soul. Our animals love her and we do too. We highly recommend Boulder Natural Animal Hospital to any and everyone looking for a wonderful practice filled with kind and extremely competent people.

My first visit to Boulder Natural Animal Hospital was wonderful. My dog hates going to the vet and Dr. Patterson took the time to calm her down before she started treatment. She was thorough and kind.Unfortunately, my most recent and final visit to Boulder Natural Animal Hospital was quite different. My dog was not using one of her back legs and I was quite concerned. The office got me in on a cancellation with Dr. Takahashi but I assumed they would all be similar to Dr. Patterson and wasn't concerned. I was very, very wrong. Dr. Takahashi did not take the time to make my dog feel comfortable when she entered the room. She clearly did not read any of my dog's file before coming in because she thought my dog was a he and argued with me about her age. I had explained my concerns twice on the phone to the receptionist and she had said she would relay the concerns to the vet so when I got there the vet would know. I had to explain all of my concerns again because Dr. Takahashi knew nothing about the case. She poked and prodded at my dog's leg for a few minutes. She had to call in an assistant to help hold my dog so that she could exam her further because my dog was so nervous. Then she asked the assistant to help her put my dog down on the ground so she could exam her that way. There was not enough communication between Dr. Takahashi and the assistant and they ended up dropping her down on the ground quite aggressively. This upset my dog even more. Dr. Takahashi could not figure out where my dog was experiencing pain because she kept moving around. If Dr. Takahashi had taken 5 minutes to get to know her when we arrived then she probably would have had better luck figuring out where my dog was experiencing pain. Then she prescribed an anti-inflammatory and said if those didn't work I would need to come back in for x-rays because it could be bone cancer. Of all the things she could have suggested, really bone cancer?! After that experience my dog and I both left more anxious. Her "bedside" manner was horrendous and very disappointing. I will be moving on to another clinic as I want to feel comfortable seeing other vets in an emergency if my main vet is not available. Dr. Patterson deserves 5 stars based on the one visit I had with her, however, this most recent visit with Dr. Takahashi doesn't even deserve one.

Although it is a bit hard to find, this office has been very patient with us. We recently moved to the area and needed a practice for my dog who has been sick for several months. Dr Adams and the front desk staff where polite and took as much time as we needed to review my pup's health history, her symptoms, and options for treatment. We liked their thoroughness in getting our old vet's records and Dr Adams called us back when she said she would. I'm glad we found this place.

I am extremely impressed with the excellent service provided by Dr. Takahashi, Dr. Adams, and Dr. Granger, and their technicians and support staff.Dr. Takahashi so effectively and carefully diagnosed our puppy, LudiBlue, with an infection in the stitches he received at Alpenglow for a dog bite wound. Her judgment, expertise and immediate remedy eased our minds and provided LudiBlue with the expert care he needed. He healed perfectly and we can’t express enough how impressed we are with Dr. Takahashi’s help, understanding and compassion.We also want to express how impressed and grateful we are to Dr. Adams, who availed herself to our texts and inquiries while she was not in the office. Dr. Adams has been our vet for several years and, while out of the country, made herself available to us, going way above and beyond the call of duty. Her commitment, compassion, and expertise are always greatly appreciated.Dr. Granger has also been extremely helpful to us in defining next steps and proper care to ensure our puppy's complete healing. These guys are the best. Our beloved puppy Kiva reached the end of her days and had a sudden stroke and their support and love through the whole process - giving us the chance to accept she'd never recover without judgment and giving full support was incredible. Dr. Stacey was there with us every step of the way and we couldn't be more thankful to her.Now our family has expanded with our puppy and a new kitten and they've taken such good care of them both! Our Kitty has some mysterious problem with his ear and they've been amazing at respecting our pocketbook and guiding us through his recovery. My pup has epilepsy and we had seen 3 other vets before finding DR. Stacey Adams. She has been absolutely wonderful in the care of my epi girl. She has taken the time to research and discuss protocol's with me. She is so caring for my pup and listens to my concerns. The other vets just wanted to load her up on meds and push me out the door. Since seeing Dr Adams we have been able to adjust her meds and regain my pups life back. I was so impressed with this office and staff I even moved my other pup over to them. They listen and care for each animal they see. You will not feel like you are just another number on their books. I highly recommend this office and staff. Michelle, Kodi and Jackson
