I have never met so many unhappy workers. You pay for place to stay, laundry restroom and shower house. Better have your own shower and bathroom. They were closed the whole time we stayed there. The whole place is dirty, trash all over the park. Not recommended.. Laundry doesn't even work like it should. Pricing is not the same in person.

Nice folks..showers, food, gas, propane, buy water for 1.00 for 5 gal. Rv & camper spots, pay phone, laundry room. NO HOTEL.Nearby activities: Large laundry mat on Broadway. Great new machines! Wags dog grooming on Broadway.Walkability: Restaurant next door. Sand boards across the street for sand dunes. Police station next door. Paul's diesel across the street. Small groc./liquor Store next to restaurant. Potato plant across the tracks behind groc. Store. Well...that's the whole town!

This place is awesome, but you gotta go at the right time or you'll miss seeing Marv. He's the whole Blanca Rv Experience. They got everything, snacks, gas, propane, camping gear, fishing tackle, and an awesome staff that includes Marv. They even got a shirt with his face on it! They've really gotten it together in the last few years and the place looks great! You gotta stop in and check it out!Nearby activities: The great sand dunes are just 25 minutes north!Food & drinks: They have a great selection of snacks

First off will not go back because website shows one price you get there and it’s ten dollars more. The very unfriendly man that works there, if your the owner you should know better, said you could get that price only if you book online thru something they have setup but that you have to pay extra to use that. Regardless he refused to honor price on site. Did give me a Good Sam Discount. Still not worth the price, pull throughs are very small well all the sites are small. We have 35’ with a Jeep stuck out both ends. Couldn’t put one slide out because of trees. Wouldn’t come in there with a big rig. Says laundry but I couldn’t find one. Bathrooms and showers were locked. Couldn’t ask about anything after seven closed up and don’t answer the phones. Terrible road noise also. There are FHU, small store and gas.

Sketchy place full of addicts. ATM was reduced to $60 per transaction, due to fraud. No functioning card reader (likely suspended due to fraud activity). Do yourself a favor and keep driving.....

The ladies bathroom never seems to have hand soap or paper towels in it. I've been in the men's bathroom which seems to not only be cleaner, but has the amenities needed for an RV park bathroom.

I go in 2 or 3 times a month I haven't ever had a problem. The staff is fabulous. They treat me like family everytime I go in and they don't really know me that well. I haven't ever felt uncomfortable at all. The showers are great, the bathrooms are always clean, even more important to me they always have fresh coffee ready.y husband even asked me one day why does it take you so long everytime you go in. I giggle and just said cuz we were catching up on things. One of my favorite stops when I go down off the mountain.

Good spot with views you really can't beat. Blanca Peak is right across the street. Sites are good with fire pits. Hot showers on site. Fair price per night. Store has most things you need. Great Sand Dunes are about 30 minutes away.

This is the place to go in town for anything you may need, not just camping. The store has pretty much anything you would want for a meal, a minor emergency, or things you may have forgotten to bring. There are public restrooms and showers available, along with a propane refill station. Lots of trees make it a beautiful place for tent camping or hammock-ing, and there are full hook up recreational vehicle sites. Heidi, Adam and Marvin are always helpful and friendly. Strongly recommend this place if your passing through town.

We have been staying here since july its January, we have enjoyed our stay. All the staff has been friendly and helpful to us , i am a amputee they have helped us when we need it. They have a store right here on the property it makes it very convenient. I would recommend the stay to everyone coming through the valley. They are also dog friendly we had to have that we have several small dogs.

Friendly kind caring. We get our propane tank filled there. One day they were waiting for a delivery of propane. We stopped 3 times. Them knowing my situation told us if their tank didn't get filled they would fill our tank as much as they could. That was very kind.

We camped for the night. You can't beat this RV Park. Out of the 8 tent sites, only three were taken, so there weren't any noisy neighbors. There are two bathrooms (men's and women's) with hot showers that are included in your cheap reservation fee. We woke up to go hike the Sand Dunes (only 25 minutes away) and made it back in time for checkout at 11am. I could not recommend this site enough, especially if you would like to spend some time at the Dunes.

My husband and I have been at Blanca RV Park for 3-1/2 months now. We will be here for several more months while we prepare to move out to our property. Recently, while my husband was out of town, I had some problems with my sewer hose freezing. The manager, Ken, was very helpful and spent a big part of his day helping me get things repaired. During our stay here we have had nothing but good experiences with the management here, especially Ken. I would recommend Blanca RV Park to anyone.I need to amend the above review. Ken and his wife Ann were supposed to be purchasing the park but I understand they were asked to leave, for reasons that I do not know. I just know that in the year that my husband and I have now been here, they were always friendly and helpful to us and we were sad to see them go. We also have enjoyed dealing with Heather and Charlie, more recent employees. In our year here in the park we have made friends and have gotten along with everyone we have met including long term people, short time campers, employees and management; until the last three days. We have an older motor home, but it is clean and comfortable. A very large, new, fancy, expensive motor home was moved into the space next to ours. The people were rude and disrespectful towards us and the "shared space" between the RVs. They were outside drinking and talking way past the posted "quiet time", they spoke to us and about us like we were beneath them, among other things. When we complained to Bob, the owner, he told us to just deal with it, this is an RV park, they are campers and that's what they do. Over the past year we have paid $5550 in rent here, plus purchases we have made at the store here, gas and propane purchases and money spent in the laundry room. To Bob the $90 these jerks spent for 3 nights here is more important than loyalty to the people who keep this park open through the winter. We are moving out tomorrow. Bad business decision Bob!

All my interaction with the staff was positive. The park is right off route 160 so it is very convenient to get in and out. Park is a bit run down, but very serviceable. Good place for a short stay. The biggest negative for me is the layout of hookups. RVs are placed in alternate directions so that you share hookups with your neighbor. There are two water faucets and two sewer connections, but only one electric pedestal. That means if your neighbor gets there first and connects to the 50 amp service, you are left with the 30 amp service. It was no problem for us, but something to keep in mind if you absolutely need 50 amp service.

We had motorhome problems and were waiting for tow service to pickup our motorhome. Did not know when that was going to be. Stopped in at Blanca RV to ask if they have a spot we could get for may be a week. Talked with Adam and Heidi and they worked with us to get our motorhome in a spot and if it wasn't picked up in the weeks time they would store it on site until it could be picked up. They were a God send, great people.After we were set up in the park, we found that there are a lot of things to see in Blanca. The sand dunes, mountains, etc.The park was great, easy in and out. The store was well stocked and they have gasoline and diesel.After talking with Adam he showed me where they are adding spaces for larger rigs.I recommend this RV park. More to do around there than I ever thought there would be.

I was very disappointed, when I read the reviews I thought this was going to be a great place and a great experience for my family and I . But it was the worst we've ever had. The front office is rude, they were unorganized. Make sure that your receipts have dates and that they are correct or they will make you responsible for there mistakes. Do not have your older children deal with the people who work at the desk because they offered mine drugs and when I brought it up to them they threatened to call the police and they kicked us off the property

We didn't camp herebut, did stop for fuel and to use the restrooms. There is a small convenience store that was I'll stocked and very messy The bathrooms were really dated and not very clean

I'm not sure if Mr. Robert Petty is the owner or just an employee but he was so rude that his behavior bordered on down right hostility. When we pulled in, we had trouble getting power to the trailer so we sought him out for assistance. He said "What ever your problem is, its your problem! It's not my problem, now I'm going to go get some dinner!" verbatim. I have been living in my RV for over two years traveling around the country and I have NEVER encountered this treatment anywhere. If anything, most hosts are a little too helpful which always makes me feel welcomed. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. On a scale of 1-10 this guy brings the sum total of the accommodations and our experience to a minus 12. Don't waste your money here. Besides being desolate, empty, dirty and unappealing, basically it's a dump; the staff needs to be replaced with people who have some modicum of customer service experience or at least an understanding of the concept.

Blanca was the perfect distance from The Great Sand Dunes. Groceries and local food were nearby. We rode our bikes around town and it was beautiful! We loved being in a small town. The RV park was just fine. Hook ups worked well, bathrooms were locked for customers only and were fairly clean, and the people were friendly. If you're not too picky, this is a great place!

Stopped here for a night to camp with my friend. The amenities were great, good hospitality, and an amazing view to wake up too. On top of that, I forgot my wallet at the park and was hours away when I realized. I called Ken at the park and he had not only found my wallet and kept it safe, but agreed to mail it to me. Such a kind and generous act!

Staff here is great but tent camping is not very nice highway is too close for sleeping and the wind and dust was terrible. There was 7 or 8 spots but other people took up 3 and 4 of those with one tent. Shoukd probably only be 2 spots cause there was really no room for anyone else to stay there especially with their dog tied to a tree well away from their tent it was very disappointing that some people are so disrespectful.

Well it's close to the Great Sand Dunes National Park. It has shady trees. There are lots of open spots in May. The men's bathroom needs repair. The men's urnal is out of order. Maybe it will be fixed soon. The store help is nice. The trailer spots aren't real level. Looks like there putting in some new spots. Don't park by the road. The traffic is loud at night. Especially the semi's at 2 in the morning. Use ear plugs or cotton.

Don't ever shop here. Unless you like to be stolen from. I bought two rolls of turkey for $2.99 each. The cashier charged me $9.98! My dad had 22$ and three quarters for 21 dollars in gas and the guy rang it up 21$ even. If anyone shops here, I disdain them.

It was a nice park until the owner took it back over. Facilities are dirty and he is extremely rude. He allows campers to break rules and overtake other peoples areas. The other employees are very nice but if you choose to stay avoid Bob at all cost. I would never recommend staying there until under new ownership.
