We used Mike from Berthoud Floor to put luxury vinyl planking on about 900 sf of the house we purchased in Longmont. Prior to calling Berthoud Flooring, I received two quotes. One for $8,000 and one for $6,000. We were so defeated! We didn't think we'd be able to afford it for awhile, and the companies weren't working with us. My mom's landscaper told us to call Mike so we did. Mike came out the next day and was super accommodating about coming out later in the day after I got home from work. He brought some large samples & really talked me through everything. I explained my fiance wanted to do a lot of the tearing up & prep so we could save money. He came back with a quote of $5,000 and we were SO happy we would be able to get flooring!We went into their store & brought home a few samples, and Mike directed us to a great LVP with a backing that was on sale. We scheduled right away & they were awesome to communicate with over email (most convenient for me). Mike gave us plenty of tips on the prep of tearing up the wood floor & carpet & tile that were on there before (from 1985).They installed all of it a day early, and were done in two days. They left us with the extra planking and left the house super clean.We are both SO impressed and SO happy. I can't tell you how many compliments we've gotten! They also installed my mom's basement carpet, are soon doing her upstairs carpet, and sold her LVP for her contractor to install. As you can tell, we are already recommending them to everyone we know!

I'm a little late with this review. It's been a year since we had our floors redone. Berthoud Floor Covering did an amazing job. The owner came by to do the estimate. The installers were professional and kind. We have had zero complaints. They are quick to respond when needed. And after a year our floors are still looking great. I would recommend this company to anyone, especially over a big box store. Support Local!

I wish I could rate higher than a 5 star. Working with Mike and his team was such a great experience. We had all the flooring in our entire house replaced as well as new back splash and counter tops in the kitchen. The quality of the finished work was better than I hoped. The personal touches they were thoughtful enough to consider was unexpected, like returning a phone call on a Sunday to answer a question for me. Berthoud Floor Covering did an awesome job installing our carpet, it was a very competitive price for everything. Mike was prompt, kind, and prepared when he came to do our measure. Alfredo showed up when he said he would each day (two day project) he worked hard and did so efficiently. Alfredo was also very respectful of our house as well as to me. I looked at multiple companies before this project and I could not be happier with Berthoud Floor Covering. I wouldn't recommend anyone else! Berthoud Floor Covering has helped us with two basement finishes in the last 3 years. Their work is outstanding. Not only did they provide great flooring, both carpet and vinyl tile, they also do bathroom shower and bath tiling. Mike is excellent at tiling. I have had multiple people who have experience with that field mention that he did beautiful work when they saw the shower and bath areas. We really appreciate working with their office for making design choices, and they were prompt and efficient with their work. I would not hesitate to work them again if the need arises for other work in our home.

I have a new home and want to keep my floors in good shape so they can last a long time. We hired Berthoud Floor to clean our carpets and they did a great job! Even though we do not wear shoes indoors we do have two small dogs and overtime dust and other debris can build up so It’s nice to have a great company who can clean our floors at an very affordable price! We used BFC&CC due to the high ratings giving on Nextdoor Quail Crossing. So glad we did! We had vinyl flooring (looks just like wood!) put in our 2 baths and carpeting put in on both floors and staircase in our townhouse. One gentleman came in and did it all in 3 days. He did a beautiful job, great workmanship! We especially love the way he "tucked in" the steps on the staircase, looks much more expensive than it actually was. The quality of carpet is exceptional (even though we bought a lower priced carpet). Loved working with a small hometown company, who puts customers first. I would highly recommend Berthoud Flooring to anyone looking for a competitively priced, efficient carpet seller and installer with great customer service.

Very pleased with job Jake did cleaning my carpets! He was on time, gave estimate before beginning, explained their cleaning process (machine seems like it did better job than other cleanings I've had), finished in time frame given, was polite & professional, and carpet looks great. I've had less expensive cleanings with other companies but feel this is better output. Will use them again!

Sold us Mohawk flooring, telling us it was the most durable, and would be the best. Had a 1 year "guarantee". Supposed to stand up to water for 30 minutes with no warpage. It doesn't even last 5 minutes without warping.It started warping in less than 3 months. Contacted them about the issues as soon as we were noticing it at less than 3 months. They never.... NEVER....came out to look.They're not standing behind what they sold us. Spent $14,000 with them.BEWARE

Mike from Berthoud Floor was very nice, and came out to give us the estiment, he was not pushy about making the sale. They were suppose to come out on Friday, but they were able to start early they come on thursday. They got the kitchen done in 3 hours, they did a beautiful job. I would highly recommended them. I would give them more than five stars, I would give them a ten Star rating.

I use this company for their carpet cleaning services. They provided me with a free estimate and were able to clean the same day. Furthermore, this company uses a Rotovac machine, which is very effective in cleaning carpet. Ask for Jake when you schedule your cleaning. He works quickly and efficiently and is extremely professional.

Berthoud Floor Covering stocks a wide range of products in lots of categories. I wanted a mid-grade Luxury Vinyl Plank product (to go over a very old, original douglas fir floor) and they did a great job recommending the NovaCore product in the show room, then did a complete install in my old house. They moved the stove with down-draft vent, the fridge, dishwasher, and worked around the avant-garde central air ducts existing. The floor was not even- lots of worn spots- before, and now it's pretty nice. I couldn't be happier with the install a year later. Check out the PVC tile, too! All the looks of tile with more durability and a warmer feel on your feet when you get out of the shower.

I always pay for local companies with check- not credit card- to keep as much in Berthoud as possible.
