What a great place! My wife and I stopped in as we were in the area lookin g for her great, great grandmother's grave site. Sara and another lady were just soooooo great! Such a unique place and in such great hands. We will be back through and will stop in and chat! Thank you so much!

The Bedrock general store is a welcome stop on a long and otherwise lonely road. There is 87 octane gasoline here for you. Ask inside for help getting the pump going. There are cold beverages, a Keurig, all the sundries you forgot, plenty of snacks and candy, and next door in the same building is a room full of beer and wine and such. The best part is the team here, Sarah and Pi, a lovely couple. Artists and enthusiasts of nature, they own a ranch with horses and dogs just across the highway a ways. Sarah is an author and her book "Mothering Millennials" is on sale inside. So are some postcards. This place has served outlaws for about 136 years. Enjoy the front porch. Set a spell. Y'all come back soon.

Nova "The Illusion of Time" picked this stire to be a theoretical reference point while exploring time and space. "Thelma and Louise" also was shot here. Simple store you can probably find something to buy. Snacks dinner drinks souvenir. Only business for 30 miles any direction. A medium walk to Bedrock boat launch. Petroglyphs on Dolores river trail a few walking miles up stream. We always stop when it's open.
