I just paid $20 for a bottle of Dayquil that would have been $11 in Durango. Not only are the markups at this store insane, but I have had more bad experiences with rotten produce than I'd like to count. Green meat in the meat case, spoiled onions... 1/10 - do not recommend.

Awesome convenience store in Bayfield. Surprisingly large selection for the size of the store, and the prices are competitive. Look for the deals on similar brands, I just paid 2.09 for a half gallon of almond milk!

It has improved a lot over the last few years and keeps updating and evolving. It's a little expensive but worth not having to drive to Durango.

For a small town grocer, this place is nice. I prefer to get my beef and pork here, and the bread I buy is cheaper and my family likes it better. Some things are more expensive than the box stores, but not enough to drive into Durango when I need just a few items. The owner and his employees are so kind, and jumped into helping me when I don't even ask. (When I was pregnant and had a newborn.)

Their prices are a perhaps bit high on some items, but this is still a really cool little place. A wide variety of products that you wouldn't usually expect to find in a store of this size. The shelves are always full and the place is always spotless. Add to that a super friendly and helpful staff.... you get five stars from me easily.

Big improvement from before. It's hard to argue with some of the negative comments before, but they have an almost entirely new set of employees that are working hard, keeping the store clean and being really friendly to everyone. They even have rather competitive prices and the lowest price on a lot, not to mention a deli that's unrivaled serving Boars Head products. I used to drive to Durango to shop but now there's no need to head so far away. Definitely worth checking out again.

I need to change my old two star review to a newer four star.This is a pretty cool Mom and Pop type store. You could save a few bucks driving 15 miles to Walmart in Durango but you'll burn some gas doing so. They might not have a dozen brands to choose from but they do have one of just about everything you may need, grocery wise. Prices may be a bit higher than a grocery store in town but I managed to put dessert together on Mother's Day at 6pm, didn't want to waste an hour going to town and I'd rather support a local business.This store is great for last minute items or even a whole meal. Very friendly staff who are more than willing to help you out however they can. I'd definitely recommend this store to someone in the area looking for groceries.

The value received for dollar spent is very poor. I spent $7+ for quick oats and found them down the road in Bayfield at Dollar General for $5. It is similar on almost all of their items. If you are planning on spending more than $10 and have the time it’s best to go to Durango for groceries. The quality of some of the goods here, namely ShureFine products is the bottom of the barrel. It has gotten better especially with the new upgrades but food storage has been a very big problem here. The staff and owners are very personable though and the atmosphere is good.

It's the only store in a fairly large radius of the surrounding area. The owner provides a lot of value to the community and is a big part of Bayfield commerce.I worked here all throughout high school. It was my first job and while there were ups and downs ultimately I learned many skills I was able to use professionally. Over the years I will stop back in from time to time and always notice improvements. The owner is always looking for new ways to modernize the store and add more value to the shopper.

Prices are higher than Durango for sure but staff are more friendly. You don't come here for perfect quality; you come here for the small town feel. Take that as you will one way or another.

Store smells like mold, and is not very clean. Produce is nasty and I have bought several out of date items. It would be convenient to go there for groceries but I will drive all the way to Durango to buy one thing because I don’t like supporting a store that regularly has outdated and expired items. It’s also way overpriced.I used to like to buy the little chocolate cream pie there until I saw mold on the edge of one.

Thier laundromat is a great place to wash and dry pet bedding or any other thing you would not wash at home. The owner has no issue with anyone washing horse tack or hairy pet beds and blankets, and they wont bother you even though they post not to wash that stuff. This is not a good place to wash clothes or linens for human use, however, because this is more of a laundromat for pet/animal beds, rugs, or anything else that is extremely soiled.

This place was surprisingly well stocked. It also had a lot of produce options. I am giving it 4 stars because of the smell, and also the flower section was horrible. I ended up spending twice as much money combining two bouquets because both were dying.

This place is too expensive, and the lady with white hair that works the registers is always rude with a bad attitude. Having said that, the deli is the best thing about that grocery store. Tasty donuts, and good quality deli meats.I wish a larger, chain grocery store would open in Bayfield, or Durango.

All in all a good place the one cashier lady with the really curly puffy hair could learn a thing or to about customer, like making sure she gives you the change back and not complaining about customers to another customer, but everything else was excellent

Happy to have an awesome hometown grocery store in Bayfield. They always have what I need, which saves me the trip to Durango. A couple weeks ago they even delivered baby Tylenol to my house because I was out of town and my wife couldn’t leave with our two month old son. These are good people and am thankful to know Paul and the rest of his crew.

I was trying to help out a friend who lives in Bayfield (I live in New York). Instacart does not deliver, nor do these folks normally, but they made a special exception to help out my friend. I can't say how tremendously grateful I am for this type of small town kindness. This is just another reason why I believe in supporting small businesses! Thank you again Diane and Paul.

If I could give you zero stars I would you are the worst grocery store I have ever been to your prices are too high and your employees are some of the worst I have ever had to go through. They are rude,inconsiderate,and do not know how to do there job store is a disaster your produce is way to old for human consumption I bought a head of lettuce and it already had brown spots on it. The store has a moldy smell to it I'd rather drive the extra millage to DurangoI hope you get shut down 😡😡😡😡😡😡PLACE SHOULD BE CONDEMNED!!!!

The name says it all. It's pretty much the only place in Bayfield to get real groceries. Its pricey though... But when you're the only game it town, you kinda own the market. Good place if you forgot something when shopping in Durango. But I wouldn't do actual grocery shopping here

Great little store with a decent selection. Prices can be higher on some things as you would expect from a smaller store but overall if you don't want to drive all the way to durango walmart, it's a great place to pick up things.

New to bayfield and found out they had a little store was pretty neat especially when you dont want to drive to Durango but it was all ruined when me and my husband went in and seen the prices for certain things I'm from a small town so I get the prices might be a tad bit higher but this store had me speechless I'm better off driving into Durango for those prices
