This is a really nice hardware store. It is well stocked with very helpful employees. We went in for spring plants and were a bit turned off by the supply in the garden center. We thought the prices compared to other stores were pretty high for garden center plants.

This place has been a mainstay for as long as I can remember. The staff is always very friendly, courteous, and professional! If they don't have what you need, they are always helpful in finding or referring you to a place that will. Love this place

My home away from home! This store may be the last of its kind and I'm lucky enough to live by. There is a real wealth of knowledge amongst the staff. They not only are willing to assist in making sure you find everything you need for your next project but truly understand the ends and outs of the projects and can help walk you through them.

I Always try to shop local. And always appreciate how well the floor staff are there to help out. Week days are great with floor staff. But the last few weekends,like today I walked the entire store and could not find a single floor employee to assist me. After a out 20 minutes gave up and will return on monday when I know staff is there to assist

I was able to run in and get what I needed to fix my gfi outlet that broke and to get my new compressor set up. My wife and I shop here all the time. We even go on line to the True Value web site and order things for canning season on line and pick up in store. They call when it comes in and we just go and pick it up. We have also bought Christmas lights that way as well.

They carry Carhartt clothing, found some nice men's tshirts and a great hooded zipper up lined sweatshirt for women. Many different pants, shorts and Carhartt shirts available.

Most people are great here! If you are wearing a mask be ready for at least one employee to rant at you about their wild political views. I'm not even a liberal and i found it embarrassing for the employee, and quite unprofessional.

Honesty, integrity and a genuine sense that he is always working hard to get you the best service is what you can expect with him and Lewis Mercantile as whole.He is the type of sales person that treats every day like it’s his first day- not taking you or your business for granted and always being straight up and honest with you. We feel very fortunate to be working with him in our company. We build 10-15 homes a year in Pagosa springs colorado and certainly couldn’t do it as easily without the Lewis Mercantile team.

Have been coming to this hardware store for over 15 years...the woman behind the plexiglass this morning had such a bad attitude about her having to wear a mask...it was a shear see through scarf! Get someone with a good attitude in there....maybe she should move to India!
