There was a young gentleman that was very friendly and polite. Made me feel better because the other employees were treating me like I was stealing ....not a food feeling!!! Then that young man made up for it!! He was great!!! He should get a raise!! Thank you for making me feel like I'm a human

For Drivers. The staff are friendly. The parking lot is wide enough for easy blind side back in. The entrance is a crazy steep angle though. I have encountered it while two other trucks were delivering. There is room to wait off the street. The parking lot does have a slight angle to it on the unload side.

Great location, convenient, well-stocked considering the pandemic. Best of all, the employees. My apologies, i'm terrible with names but it was sunday night selt. 6th. A young man (darian, damian?), Is consistently, polite, professionaL pleasant and efficient as well as the young lady working with him. Theirs is a Thankless job but we sincerely appreciate their efforts.. Dollar General is lucky to have them.

UPDATE: The district manager contacted me after I filled out that handy survey on that receipt I had saved for my return and there is no return policy that says they don’t accept opened items or electronics! He is sending me a gift card to save me from returning to this store. I appreciate his sincere efforts!I purchased a set of headphones not realizing there wasn’t a microphone but I asked the clerk before paying for them if they didn’t work for the call that I needed them for could I return them. The clerk said specifically as long as you have your receipt. So today I go to return them and they act as if I’m a criminal. Just so you know you cannot return something using a receipt if it’s electronics but the clerk didn’t tell me that Ahead of time. When I asked the manager if she was going to refund My money based on what her clerk told me she stated no. So apparently it’s OK to lie to customers at this dollar general. I’d say don’t shop at Dollar General. I will never be back.Besides the fact that you can’t find anything and every aisle is filled with racks of stuff.

When it opened I would have given it 5 stars, but now there are Always boxes everywhere. Half the shelves are empty because the inventory isn't being put away. If they cleaned it up it'd be great again.

As an out of town fire fighter I was shocked of the amount of boxes, tubs and carts every where in the isles. Isles were block, unable to even get down them. A true fire disaster waiting to happen. If this store was in my district, this store would be shut down today. Lives of the general public and firefighters are so much more important than saving a few pennies. I understand from my high school granddaughter that this has been the case since the store opened.

I like shopping Dollar General but this Bayfield location is nothing but huge carts full of unstocked goods. Nothing gets put on the shelves, things dont change from week to week, you cant get down the aisles and you cant get the products you came for.*There must be a division manager that really needs to visit this location. Every positive review of this location is false and likely posted by dollar general itself. Family Dollar is right next door, go there instead.

Love these folks and their location. This store is miles apart from the old Family dollar here. They have obviously spent good money to have this spot in Bayfield. I am very pleased at the progress the town has made in the value of my purchases.

Newer store, terrible inside organization /maintenance - empty shelves, unstocked/loaded carts and bins blocking aisles and merchandise , limited items in coolers and freezer displays, and products on floors and sloppy shelves. Only one associate in store, who was courteous

Getting really tired of walking into this Dollar General and having to literally move their stocking U-Boats out of the way. Today they had every single boat on their floors, burying their aisles and product and making it difficult to shop for nearly anything. I get the fact that you have tight aisles and have to stock, but I purposefully walked every aisle in the entire store losing count of how many boats they had after the 10th one and realized that not one single employee was stocking one single boat during the day. I have complained before regarding this issue to deaf ears. The manager is out classed by this store. I hate to say that she doesn't work or do her job, but after visiting for months consistently finding the same conditions one finally must say that it is the leadership that has failed this store. The District Leader needs to make changes if they want to see any actual profits year over year in this location. Last thing...the impact sales area around the registers is always 90% empty. All empty shelves, empty racks, no product etc. This is the best and honestly most important area of a retail location and it is a 100% FAIL in this store.

I mean, its dollar general... What do you expect? However, the low rating is for their parking lot that someone wasnt clear of snow after a full day when they could have had anyone clear it. If I didnt have an AWD vehical, i wouldn't have been able to make it.

I'm pretty sure all dollar generals are exactly the same. This one is new, and clean, but usually there is boxes in the isles and unstocked merchandise everywhere.
