We take all our animals here for well checks and they were very caring and thorough. They found a heart murmur in our dog and are helping us navigate treatment for her. We have had our cat neutered here and another dog had teeth removal and surgery to remove a growth. They took such good care of our animals and the after care was very good as well. They put us at ease, broke down all the costs in advance and were priced very fair compared to other vets we visited in the past. I tell everyone to take their animals here. Be sure to get your animals in for a well check prior to a emergency issue arising because they can get you in faster if your animal is already a patient.

Fantastic staff. Doctors take time to answer all questions and never make us feel rushed. The most reasonable pricing of any vet we've experienced. Helpful, thorough and kind. Would totally recommend!

Highly recommended. Just moved here from the city and they actually care and are reasonable priced. I def recommend they are just extremely busy so have some grace with the kind doctors nurses and staff!

I began taking my two pups here in 2020 and was pretty happy. I have two healthy three year old dogs now and so I only came in once a year for check ups and vaccines. Today, I called because there was something seriously wrong with my new cat. I acknowledge they had not seen him yet but I was told they had a busy schedule and would check and see if they can fit me in. I was told, and I quote, “we show that you don’t come in very often so we cannot accommodate you and refer you to Riverview Animal Hospital”. So….because I have healthy animals and don’t come in often they won’t see us? Okay. We will take our business elsewhere then. It really comes across that money was a motivator here. Very disappointed.

This animal hospital saved my little dogs life!! When no other vet in my area would take her. And another vet suggested euthanize Her. I was blessed with a family member suggesting this wonderful animal hospital Dr. Joe you and your amazing Staff and other wonderful veterinarians at Bayfield animal hospital are truly angels! You all saved little Posie’s life you gave her a chance when no one else would! Thank you from the bottom of my heart and bless you all for being such compassionate people. Thank you for dealing with all of my crazy phone calls and all of my questions and all of my frustrations! Literally Lifesavers. Never dealt with a more professional and caring veterinarian and staff. We drove over 5 hours to seek treatment with them again, due to confidence in service they provided and reasonable prices.Highly recommend.

I have been coming here over 15yrs but today because of a very rude conversation on the phone I've decided to take my babies elsewhere. The lady that called me back basically told me I was a bad mom. My fur babies are pretty healthy and I only bring them in when they are sick. I can't afford to bring them in every month. I don't know if she was having a bad day but because of this I don't want to give them my business anymore. They do have good vets! This saddens me to have to leave a review like this.

The staff and docs are so warm and the front desk ladies are exceptional! My guinea pig, Alfalfa, got very sick and Tiffany and the docs helped me to make him a healthy little piggy again! The doctors were phenomenal, but I think the front desk ladies (thank you, Tiffany!) are the real rock stars! Thank you, Bayfield Animal Hospital, for being so kind and helpful!

Bayfield Animal Hospital is 100% AWESOME!!! Everyone working at this establishment are so NICE, POLITE, KNOWLEDGEABLE, ACCOMMODATING, CARING, and RESPECTFUL!!! The aura there is small town when small towns were considered cool! 18 years ago my cat visited them as a kitten...now 18 years later I brought her back to them for some health issues and it felt like the comfort of coming home!

Dr.Bill is amazing. I am so happy I went in for a second opinion. I won't mention names but my previous clinic was highly under dosing my dog for antibiotics. Dr.Bill got us taken care of and my dog loves him. Worth driving 2 hours for this clinic!

Sad reason to visit but the staff and Dr. Bill took great care of our sick kitty and us. Really appreciate all they did. Great community vet for all types of critters. I miss some of the techs that used to work here, and the original Dr. Thinking about it now I've been a client here for over 20 years... drove back from out of state to have our cat seen.

My Cornsnake got a respritory infection and needed care and despite having a full schedule staff were able to get me an appointment just a day later. Staff is incredibly kind and accomodating. My snake came home later that day feeling a little better, and the medication didnt break the bank! The Exotic vet was incredibly kind and gentle with my snake and took extra care to teach me how to give injections safely and securely. Ive never had a vet clinic call back days after the appointment to ask how my critter was doing after their visit. I will for sure be coming back for my other animals.

Our son’s gecko needed urgent care at the start of a holiday week - I was really concerned nobody could/would help. They are always there for all four of my animals and my families animals. We have been going to them for about two years now and had extreme success with figuring out my dogs rashes, pancreatitis, and helping on the spot with my dogs rattlesnake bite. I trust them to take care of my animals and make them happy to come into the vet. Thank you for everything that you do, you’re really heros.

I was visiting from out of town and unable to see my regular vet. I called Bayfield Animal Hospital, and they were able to get me in that afternoon. When I arrived, staff was ready and prompt. The technician and doctor were both very gentle and friendly with my nervous pup. They were professional, answered my questions, and able to guide me through his injuries. They were helpful in guiding him around other dogs as well and encouraging him. Afterwards, I was a little surprised the vet did not tell me how to treat the injuries aside from the medication (rest, expected healing time, etc). I did ask about medication side effects after not being told or provided additional paperwork. Overall, very good experience. I was in and out in 30 minutes.

Has been my vet for 22 years! I wouldn't dream of taking my dogs anyplace else. Dr. Joe is truly a dog whisperer & the staff is fantastic! Tricia, Virginia, Mary, and Tiffany are all so helpful & kind. Jeff is a wonderful vet tech & well, you just can't go wrong! I highly recommend!

Their prices are very fair, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I have a shy rescue dog, and the staff here are so understanding and kind. I've never been to a vet that understands my dog before, and Bayfield Animal Hospital does an amazing job. They've given him checkups while he sits in a chair, because the chair helps him feel more comfortable. I'll be recommending them to everyone I meet.

Gosh I love everyone that works here! Dr. Bill is amazing and nobody can come close to the support or care the office ladies offer. Here is my story -in short: People don't often think about what happens to when a dog who saves a human for PTSD reaches the end of their life (at least I didn't, or didn't want to). After serving this country I got my boy; he came into my life and served me as a loyal companion for several wonderful years. But unfortunately the years passed by and as we grew older together he is going to beat me to the finish line. Bayfield Animal Hospital is doing everything they can to make his senior years as comfortable as possible. I know we are reaching the end of our journey together and though it is really hard to say goodbye BAH's professionalism, thoughtful nature, and compassion is making all the difference. Bless them all for the great work and love they have for our animals, our friends, and our family members.

Been coming to bayfield animal hospital for over 28 years and have never had a bad experience. From birth to euthanasia. Surgeries, emergencies, you name it. So many people have moved to the area it would sustain a second clinic. Just a thought :) I trust them with my fur babies.

I have had to race my boy Cummins to them for some pet RX and answers. Today was a dreaded AFTER AHOURS visit. The staff was overwhelming helpful and kind to everyone. No big issues but he is definitely not our boy. I felt they did what they needed to quickly and 100% superior service. They are worth every star. And the bill is always doable -even if it takes more then one card! Honest compassionate and effective are all things you want when your fur baby goes down, and they have it in spades.

These people are the best!! We had a ferret that was verry sick for days , his normal vet was out of town and we called every vet in the 4 corners and no one would take him!! All the staff here are amazing!! Im so blessed to have them in my life and here for my furr babies!! Dr. Joe Alaimo is hands down amazing, fought so, so hard for my baby and kept her alive for years when no one else would. Highly highly recommend them!

Dr. Bill Rohn was so amazing with my dog. My lab is a very shy dog when it comes to people he doesn’t know and Dr. Bill was so kind to him and took the time to let Stetson(my dog) get to know him and get comfortable with him. I most definitely recommend Bayfield Animal Hospital.
