Danni our Petco groomer is a literal gift. She has taken care of my pug Loki since we have been going here. She is so helpful with giving me recommendations on his dry skin and different things pugs struggle with. She is amazing with his baths and trimming his nails. Loki loves his visits and we are able to always get the best service. Danni thank you for being someone we can trust with our dog!

I'm very disappointed this is the second time I have taken my dog for grooming the first time he was happy well groomed he wasn't itching anymore and looked genuinely clean. However This last weekend I took him in again his eyes were red rimmed and full of gunk he was still wet when he got home like they had forgoten to dry him and he was anxiety ridden and scared like he had been beaten. Now we are about 5 days after I washed him again once because the amount of hair and dandruff coming off of him was outrageous. And he is still itching and generally not happy. I am flabbergasted at the stark difference between visits. I'm not sure I will ever take him there again.

To all my dear customers, it was fun being ur aquatic specialist for a while. I enjoyed all ur unique and wonderful stories about your journey in this hobby. Thank you for inviting me into your slice of the hobby and making my job enriching. But due to management like Tracy treating minorities unfairly and corporate people like Amy terminating the very few number of Asian people what work at Petco. You really have to beg to differ if this company has its priorities straight. I guess firing and putting the Asian guy in his place, is a higher priority than having someone take care of the fish!

I took a few years off of fish keeping due to the failure and negative experience the first time. This time my fish and the more natural habitat I created in my aquarium are looking good and healthy. Ryan and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They’re keeping the fish department clean, healthy and well decorated with a good selection of plants and fish. They are doing the best they can with an incomplete team though management/corporate need to do more to support them.

Petco is my first choice for pet care supplies and grooming services. When I walk in the door I am greeted by an associate. Customer service is great. Petco shows concern for my pet.Vetco is awesome too. Petco treats customers like family. I will recommend Petco to all my family and friends. Great job! Petco you folks are awesome.

Cashier was absolutely amazing! He took the time to go to the special food and informed me that for some reason, that prescription food wasn't delivered on the normal truck/day. He was so friendly! This location should feel very lucky to have him!! The only thing I've had an issue with, is the lack of consistency in buying the prescription food. My pet relys on his food for life! So when I go in to buy an $90 bag of food, and it isn't there... It just tells me either "find it some where else" or "we don't care enough about your pet" and either response isn't okay. Please do more to reassure pet parents, like myself, can depend on your location having what we need for our "special needs" babies.

Fish area… wish I knew the guys name that helped me. He has long black hair. He has turned the fish area into an amazing place to shop! He is full of knowledge from plants to fish…. I especially like how he decorated all the tanks himself. This is my favorite fish store in the Aurora area.

I love this Petco location and particularly the grooming staff! Kaylana always does a wonderful job grooming my 25lb Poodle Alfie, he’s always so happy to see her when we get there and looks perfect when I pick him up. Stonewall and Johnny are also fantastic and always make us feel so welcome when we come in for food, treats or grooms.

Talk about right place right time! Stopped in with a friend to grab Purina pro plan and couldn’t find exactly what we needed, so I jokingly punched a bag of dog food. Marcus (store employee) then approached us and bantered with me about punching the dog food. Explained we needed one we couldn’t find and he led us to a different, much healthier dog food for my friends pup. Rowan was in the aisle and jumped in the conversation about recommended dog food brands for our pups. We then had a great conversation about dog food and treats that have whole ingredients and what would be best for our pups. Big shoutout to Marcus and Rowan for educating us and the great conversation!

Horrible groomers. My dog was injured. They tightened the harness too much and pinched her radial nerve in her leg. They said, she had a stroke. I had a large vet bill and had meds for her. It took me forever to get them to pay for her bill, they refused to pay for her meds. Accused me of lying, saying she was injured before I took her in, until I told them to look at their cameras, she walked in and was carried out. They had the nerve to offer a free groom.🤣 The manager, groomers and corporate were so rude. I took my business to another store for food and found a much better groomer place. Will never use them for any pet needs.I would give them negative stars.

Staff and manager refused to sell my daughter a snail. They were convinced that we did not have appropriate housing for the creature even though they did not even finish listening before refusing. So my daughter was heart broken. I went to Persmart instead and will never go back to petco. Store was also very very dirty!

Ryan is very helpful and knowledgeable. Alway friendly . I have been to most stores in the metro area. The fish and tanks are way better then all the stores . I have gone to stores with my wife she walked out crying cause the tanks were so bad with moss and dead fish.

Kacie, the most uncooperative and poor excuse for a Petco representative, needs to be reminded you DO NOT turn away $100 plus in repeat by- monthly business because "you've been told" you can only accept credit card payments.How absolutely absurd.Cash is king. It's in the drawer. No processing fees attached.Kacie is incorrigible as an employee.

I love bringing my dogs here for their grooming appointments. The groomers here are my favorite in town. They always do great.Only good experiences here. But my dogs are well behaved and like baths, so could be different if dogs have behavior problems.

They canceled my pets grooming appointment twice without any intimation. Was only able to find-out after i went to the store the time that scheduled for. I’m a busy professional, so asked them if the groomer is not working for the day, they should informed by calling in advance. So i would better plan my day better. After a month trying to schedule an another appointment and came to know i was blocked to book grooming appointments for this store. What a customer service. As a customer you are not allowed to raise the concerns that they make it to you. Shame on you!

I am so glad I stopped in today! I was having a terrible day trying to find a special vet cat food and every one working here was so helpful and kind. The young lady in the Vetco was incredible and really helped me out in a pinch, and then Killian and Raquel made my day all better. Killian even went to the back of the store to get what I needed.I had been to the PetSmart on Chambers/Parker right before coming here and the woman at the Banfield was so incredibly rude to me that I stormed out and didn't buy anything from them, I will NEVER shop there again, all because of that woman's attitude. I am tired of a lack of respect for customers these days, I can take my money elsewhere. Sure is Petco owned by Petsmart, yes, but that store won't ever see my cash again.Thanks to my experience with this Petco, I will be shopping here from now on. They really went over and above for me and still have the right idea about "customer service"... I appreciate that.

Whoever is in charge of the maintenance plan, decoration and upkeep of the fish tanks at the store is doing an amazing job. The fish look happy and healthy. I am really impressed you typically do not see tanks like that at a Petco way above about the standard from anything I’ve seen at any other Petco they would get five stars but unfortunately, the condition of the beta fish is in the cups is horrible to see let him do something about that management!

Fine store- deducting two stars, they pressure you into a "vital care subscription" but it doesn't actually save money and it turns out it isn't monthly, it is a twelve month commitment, even if it is billed monthly. I regret getting pressured into it, and am switching from petco to petsmart and chewy for my usual supply needs.

Multiple pallets of product in entry way into the store just as you enter the location. Fish department closed with signs posted calling it out and calling out staffing problems. Lots of empty shelves due to pallets of product to be worked sitting on sales floor. No one working product to shelves, no persons except 2 people at checkout. Store was dirty and not inviting to be in.

At the risk of letting my secret get out, I have to brag a little about how the aquarium section has improved under the guidance of their newest specialist, Ryan. He’s done an amazing job fine tuning that department, keeping it stocked with healthy fish, healthy plants and keeping the water pristine. I used to have to travel to a different store to get decent fish from Petco, but I’m delighted to be able to find them right around the corner now, thanks to having Ryan at my local store! Now, if they’ll just expand the department a little, it’ll be perfect!

Great experience, but the one thing I needed was out of stock. It was understandable, so I am not holding that against them. Collars for flea and tick season are a popular item, and fly off shelves as fast as they're put out. They had other options, or my review would be different.
