Nick's Garden Center is a real treasure and Aurora is lucky to have it. A superb collection of plants and supplies for the homeowner and gardener at reasonable prices is what many look for, but you will also find staff knowledgeable in what plants and shrubs best suit your needs. Do not miss the fall pepper roasters. Buy and freeze a bushel or two of locally sourced peppers for a taste of the garden all winter long.

A COMPLETE RIP-OFF!!! For starters, I spent $2400, plus $120 for delivery. They were having a 20% off sale and it excluded some of the items I was buying I spoke directly with the owner and asked if he’d make an exception, and he wouldn’t. Considering what I spent that was a bit of an insult. Then I stopped at Lowe’s only to find out the same exact brand of the same flower was double the price at Nick’s , refer to pictures. This is just an example, as EVERYTHING I found at Nick’s, I found at Lowe’s for 1/2 the price that were bigger , better looking plants! Trees were double the size at Lowe’s for less! Refer to pictures for proof of how big and healthy Lowe’s plants were. I will never waste my money at Nick’s again! I’m all for supporting small businesses, but not when they are ripping you off and showing zero appreciation.

Nick's is the best garden center in Denver! The people who work there are knowledgeable and very helpful. There is a huge selection of plants (outdoor and indoor), including many native plants and rarer xeric plants. The houseplant section has healthy, beautiful plants at a pretty reasonable price.

I went to Nick’s for the first time and was blown away! They have an incredible selection of trees, planters, cactus, succulents, and gifts! Their clearance/sale items were very inexpensive and their selection of merchandise was perfect.Safe to say this is my new favorite shop to visit and I’ll be going here for my shopping in the future! They also gave us all free items at checkout- I saw some people get free food items and I was given a beautiful poinsettia!

Beautiful farmers market to enjoy your weekends. You can enjoy with your family and kids here. Different games and rides will keep everyone engaged. You can buy some fresh produce, saplings and chillies to add to the activities. You must visit before Halloween with your kids. They have plenty of parking and easy accessibility for everyone with special needs. But difficult to find the restrooms though

I was very excited to go to this garden and farmers market at first being a new first time plant owner. I was a bit overwhelmed with the options and resources for my plant I’ve had for 1 year. I asked for assistance from the ladies at the front and one of the ladies was very offensive.Openly saying my plant and I quote “my plant is dry as hell and over watered”. This was offensive because I already felt uninformed, that did help build my confidence in providing proper care for my plant.Unfortunately, i left feeling worse than when i walked in. Like I shouldn’t have asked a question to start with. I’ll have to find another garden center that welcomes questions and genuinely wants to help their customers.

Went with my kids preschool class for their fall festival. It is super well done. The rides are cute and the other games are quite fun. Pumpkins were well priced and a huge variety and selection. Highly recommend checking them out.

Amazing place! This time of the year it looks gorgeous, decorated with beautiful Christmas trees. The ornaments are very unique. I spent there a lot of time just looking around. My husband bought a few presents for friends and family. They have a lot of local products. There is a lot of things to chose from. They also have a great selection of trees

Beautiful place. My mistake I thought it was a nice small garden center. IT'S HUGE! Very overwhelming for me. That's just me though. The staff was helpful. I think prices are a little high. They do have so many options though. Definitely worth a visit.

A pleasant place, with lots and lots of options, a knowledgeable staff, but customer service does not exist. Archaic receipt system that they will basically blame you for any plants failing (they will bring up the fine print) if you don't manage to misplace your miniature paper receipt, Really, no digital system for such a large nursery? Oh, any discounted plants also have ZERO warranty bizarrely (Perennials even). Tagawa's doesn't have these limitations and they keep a record. So, If you don't mind basically SALES Final with a premium price this is the place to go. I wouldn't recommend this because plants sometimes fail outside your control and you get exact same shrub brands- Proven Winners/Monrovia at the big box stores.

The best family friendly fall fair I’ve ever been to. Free to get in, a bunch of photo opportunities for the family (HUGE pumpkin, the things where the face is cut out of a ghost and you stick your head in.), a bunch of games for everyone, great food at a reasonable price, local/homemade items and more.Cons: parking, but not a bad walk, and pumpkins are a little pricey, but all of them are awesome and I didn’t know there was so many different types!10/10 we’re going back with our 1 year old on Sunday and I can’t wait.

Today was more garden center and not so much farmers market, at least I didn't see any produce to purchase. The selection of plants to buy was good. I was a little curious when flowers that are marked as full sun in another garden center were marked as wanting shade. I picked up two little white and yellow and two purple flowers for flower boxes. Vegetable pavilion had some nice starter plants, seemed a little more expensive than I would expect but they looked good and healthy.

I absolutely love this place. It's another one of those stores that's "dangerous" because you can get caught buying a lot of stuff... I used to buy my vegetable plants here but it just got too expensive. Since then, I've been starting my own plants from seed, which are also purchased from here. They have a huge variety of flowers, shrubs, trees, and grasses. The employees are knowledgeable and can help you when you're working on a project. This is definitely the place to go for your garden.

Top Notch customer service is absolutely the best in all of Colorado. Everyone there is very helpful. I even came in an hour before they opened and was helped immediately. Sorry, guys, but thanks 😊

Very happy with the staff at Nick's garden center. I delivered a truckload of trees to them today and they got my truck unloaded very quickly. They bought some hooks for each staff member to help carry the heavy 10 gallon dirt buckets around the roots. I thought that was very nice that they show some concern for their staffs health and wellness. Also I went inside to get some Fertilizer for my mountain home Aspen trees. The lady was so helpful and knowledgeable about Fertilizer for trees. I was very happy and I trust you will be also.

This place is fantastic! It has everything! And they're really good quality and the places huge and you can get lost in there for hours. Everyone who works there is super nice and friendly and we passed a lot of employees taking the time to both chat with and educate customers about all kinds of plans. They've got herbs, they've got shade plants, they've got trees, they've got carnivorous plants, which is what we were there for, and every other thing that you can think of. 10 out of 10 will definitely be back and I wish that we had gone there first this planting season to get our things there.

After checking out several other plant stores, this is my favorite place! It’s very reasonably priced, and the plants are beautiful and healthy. I had some questions about a plant I recently purchased and they took the time to answer all my questions and were genuinely happy to help!

I bought 8 shrubs from Nicks last year. 5 did not come back. I called Co-Owner Richard. He said to take pictures of them. He looked at the pictures and wrote me a gift certificate to replace them and extended the warranty of the other 3. Great customer service and people there always have important advice.

Bought a $25 plant from Nicks that died instantly. Within a month it already was past a point it couldn’t be saved. The root stem may have broke at some point. But the issue is when I went to return the plant, Nicks wouldn’t exchange it. Also, come to find out the plant that was purchased and paid $25 for, what we thought was a monkey tail was a completely wrong plant. So we paid $25 for a plant that was mislabeled and died within a month. I understand an exchange without a receipt was unlikely, but the plant had their original price tag. Management interacted with me like I was trying to scam them out of a free plant. Just wanted what I paid for. Be careful buying plants from Nicks due to they don’t warranty their plants after sale.

Wonderful experience 10/10 recommend going. Their fall pumpkin patch is such a treat. Not a penny needed (unless you want too), there are plenty of free activities and tables to sit for a fun family picnic.

They got a good selection of plants, veggies, flowers etc. it's a bit pricey which is expected in this economy. Ideally some plant holders would be near the carts or greenhouses as they easily tip over in the carts and have to search for them

Associates were helpful when needed. Wasn't too busy even with it being spring. Prices can be a bit high but its good landscaping supplies so its worth it

What a fantastic garden center. It's not just a place to pick up plants and some pots. It's a whole experience. Their Christmas shop and gifts was amazing. Lots of thoughtful gifts suitable for the gardener (master or beginner) plus other high quality ideas. They also have a superb selection of succulents and terrarium supplies. They stock bonsai tools and plants. And they have nutrients, potting tools, plant lights and gardening tools. I assume they have significant landscaping stock too, but I visited in winter and the outdoor sections were understandably empty. 😊

First time here it’s huge!! Great selection, cute decor, friendly staff. Gifts and decor are a bit overpriced I would have bought a lot more but the prices held me back. Can’t wait to come here for summer annuals.

This place has the best selection of magnificent plants. We have always been able to find expert help. The also sell pumpkins in the fall and their selection of chilies in late summer is wide and high quality. They will roast them right there for you. There is plenty of parking (except maybe on the weekend after Mother's day lol). They have pots of all sizes and makes. They have a nice selection of statues. They also have gravel.

We come here year round for all their seasonal events. There’s a huge variety of plants, knowledgeable staff, and it’s just fun walking around in and out. Though the plants are pricey, everything is really well maintained and cared for. The place is clean and the staff is always friendly.
