I have never had any issues with my service dog gear, the easy catch straps on his harness make getting the harness on and off easier for me with my arthritis. Also the harness being custom made makes it much more comfortable for him and sturdier for me due to a proper fit and the grip for me.I have also bought leashes and no pull lead halters along with the service dog items. All of the items I have purchased are top quality and have lasted for the life time of each of my dogs.Bold Lead Designs listens to their clients and constantly strives to improve their products for the dogs as well as their people.

I am delighted with my Brahma Atlas leash and collar. My dog and I are avid hikers, and she loves to wrestle. The collar has been on her in the lagoon, the creek, the pond, the mud and in vigorous play. I've had them for a couple of years and they both still look brand new. They are easy to clean when muddy or dirty, and never smell. Unlike my previous nylon webbed collar which I could never get completely odor free. The functionality of the Atlas leash, with the multiple ways to use it makes handling so much easier. I never use any other leash. Great product, thanks so much for making it. It is a pleasure to support such a great company.

Update: 2 more dogs means 2 more harnesses! They are beautiful equestrian style leather! I refuse to buy from anyone else!...I have 2 harnesses and an 8 way lead that are amazing! I custom ordered extra quick releases around the neck which they did no problem at all. After 2 years of daily wearing and a hard life of weather and tear on the farm, one harness gave on the handle; I contacted them about repair and they were quick to respond and approve the warranty. I only asked for the leather to be replaced that ripped through the screws but they offered to replace the sheep pad and condition it before they sent it back to me. I was only out of a harness for 2 weeks and most of that was shipping. This company is exceptional, has top notch quality and polite customer service, I really couldn't ask for more!

Great quality leashes. I love the leather they use! It feels great and takes barely any breaking in. Mine are all several years old and still in great shape with daily use in all sorts of conditions. I don't ever worry about my gear not being able to handle where I take it.

High quality handmade gear that TRULY lasts a lifetime. I'm a Service Dog handler and professional trainer. My BLD leashes and Balance Assistance Harness get heavily used on the daily and show absolutely no signs of thinning, breakage, or defects.Many companies will cover for their poor-quality leather by saying that it "only gets better with age!" and then it disintegrates after 5 years. BLD is different; they show you exactly what the gear looks like after being used and I can honestly say that my oldest leash has aged like a fine wine! 🍷 It's soft, flexible, and conformed to our bodies working in tandem.I have blown a lot of money on lower-quality gear (looking at you, Yup and Bridgeport) and easily trashed the equivalent it would have taken me to buy a new BLD harness. We only took the plunge on a BLD BAH because it was secondhand and marked down, and I am so glad we did! I'm going to be buying the Everyday Working Harness next.

Honestly I was nervous about spending 500 on a harness for my service dog. The staff with BLD helped me during the entire process making it so easy for me to do. When I got the harness part did not fit right at all, they helped me with that to! It's now my go to harness for my service dog it still looks brand new despite its heavy use!I would tell anyone thinking of getting a BLD to just do it! Worth every penny I have spent.

Bold Lead made a custom harness for my Seizure Support dog which fits like a glove. Bold Lead Designs makes awesome high quality leather products (and more, but I mainly go for the leather)! I've been buying almost all of my leashes there since 2020 and own around 6 leashes of theirs in various styles now. I've only had to replace one due to my dog chewing it up, the rest have only gotten better with time.The products are great but the customer service is what makes BLD a notch above the rest. Any issue or question I've ever had has been addressed quickly and satisfactorily. Katrina has personally answered many of my emails but everyone working there is truly lovely.I'm confident in recommending BLD to anyone looking for great dog gear.

Bought the nylon pace leash over a week ago and was very disappointed with how thin it was. It hurt my dog’s nose and a few days later the leash broke off close to the neck. Thankfully I had another leash to secure in place. I wouldn’t suggest the nylon to anyone, cost me CAD 75 for something that could not even last a month.

This is really a top quality and well-made harness. While Oso didn’t appreciate the fitting part of the purchase, it fits him perfectly and comfortably. The leather, buckles and components are top quality and it is very easy to use. Everyone was really easy to work with and they personally fitted it for Oso even though he tried to take their head off a couple times!

I ordered one of the 1/2" width Atlas Leashes from their website last year. I soon realized my anxiety was getting the best of me and I never used it, because although the leather was thick and felt very strong, my brain is kind of the worst and I just couldn't get over the worry it was too narrow because my dog can pull pretty strongly when she wants to.I reached out to the company even though the return window had closed and explained my situation. I would have totally understood if there was nothing they could do because it was so long after purchase, but they took care of me. They wanted to make sure I was completely happy with my purchase so they helped set up a return (and explained there would be a small restocking fee based on the condition of the item) so I could purchase the 5/8" width instead. I received the new leash super quickly and it's perfect. I no longer have anxiety over using it and just like the smaller width, the quality is amazing and the leather is nice and thick. I can tell this thing is going to last forever with proper care.I highly Bold Lead Designs for your dog gear. Quality products and great customer service. Once things settle down with unexpected bills, I hope to purchase a couple more items from them.

BLD Is one of the rare businesses that not only supply outstanding custom quality products their customer service is also a second to none.I first became aware of this company shortly after receiving my first service dog in 2015 over the years I have ordered two of the mobility assistance harnesses as well as multiple leashes, patches, and a custom wheelchair leash.Recently my newest service dog just reached maturity and was cleared for Mobility work and this time I decided that the Balance Assist Harness would better suit my needs. Shortly after placing my order I was contacted by Bill who was extremely helpful and very patient in answering all my questions and making sure my measurements were correct as well as how I would be using the harness.Wait time for my item was approximately one month but I felt that was extremely reasonable especially since this is a custom item. To say the harness was beautiful was an understatement! I am so happy with it and my dog looks wonderful. It is surprisingly lightweight and like all other products I have received from them it is made exceptionally well. You can tell it is a quality item and will last.Since this was a different harness then I had ever used before I did have a couple more questions for poor belt after I received the harness and he was very prompt and detailed in his answers.I thought since going from the MAH to the BAH there would be a bit more of a learning curve or time needed to get used to the difference but I am absolutely comfortable with the new harness by the end of my first outing. Highly highly recommended!

I ordered a leash from them 2 years ago, and a two more this year. The leashes are very high quality.The hardware is very heavy duty (I have a large dog over 100 lbs) and there is no stitching, which I really like. I will order from them again. Also, they make the Euro-Style leads (8-way) which I prefer and are very hard to find.

Bold Lead Designs is an amazing company! The employees are always friendly and welcoming! I am disabled and was directed to them for a Mobility Support Harness for my service dog and they were so patient in helping us take the right measurements and make sure we had the right accessories that we needed. There was never any "up sell" or hard sale pushes for anything, in fact they steered me away from something I thought I would need after they talked to me and realized it would be a waste of money! The digital zoom fitting after we got the harness was so great and they never rushed us and let us ask all the questions we needed and made sure we were totally satisfied!We have had only 2 issues with our harness since we bought it in August 2020 (approx) and both times BLD was on top of things and got the issues resolved quickly and under the warranty. Any product can have unforseen issues but the way they handled them just showed the amazing customer service that you get!The only bad thing we can say about BLD is that we only needed the harness from them! LOL I wish we needed any of their other products cause we tell everyone with dogs, even if they aren't service dogs, to check them out!!
