I reviewed this a couple months ago but didn't comment. Since then, I have been here MANY times, having a new kitten is quite the journey! The people who work here are amazing. They are ALWAYS friendly, always willing to help and always ask if you are finding everything and helping when it’s needed. Our kitten is going through the I don’t know what I like to eat stage so I hve to buy small quantities since she may change her mind. I believe the store Mgr helped me find an alternative when they were out of her favorite. Such gracious customer service is hard to find these days, and everyone at this store excels at it. I wish I knew their names. It’s always a pleasure to shop here.

I happen to love this store. It's not that out of the ordinary. It has the food that our picky Bernese Mountain needs, and most anything else we need. It's not huge, the staff is always nice to us, and always is kind when we come in. They love our buddy and we will continue to come here.

I went to Petco in Arvada, CO today to get a second opinion about the vaccination timeline for my kitten. Although I tried my best to adopt from a good rescue place, I ended up having some issues with the kitten’s health. I had a few people give me a hard time today and I was very scared to go to another vet but wanted to do whatever I could to support my kitten’s health. I walked into Petco and every single person was friendly, kind, and extremely compassionate. They reassured me that I’m a good cat mama for checking on my kitty’s health and taking care of him, given his situation. I walked away feeling very supported and cared for and I really appreciate the kindness and compassion given my situation with my new kitten.

Me and my girlfriend went to this Petco to buy some dog cbd treats and toys, as well as a water jug for our dogs. And Ryan the worker was so nice and helpful and told us about how pumpkin can help with one of our dogs and she was generally a very good person. She even helped and told us about the Petco total care and gave us a pamphlet while describing how it works and how cheap it was and that it would be good for us. If there was an employee of the month, Ryan should be one. Thank you Ryan for all your help

I ordered cat litter online and picked up from the store. It was easy and quick to do. I first looked around the store. I really liked the variety of animals sold there in comparison to PetSmart, however their prices are just too high and I would rather save a penny or two (okay I would prefer to save far more). I wouldn't return unless, like in that particular purchase, I couldn't find a product I normally buy elsewhere. However, it's a personal opinion only.

I am a Pet Smart person, but I have to say the kindness of the staff, the more intimate setting, & the unusual finds, all make Petco a much more fun place to go. Top notch all the way.

Went to this location for the first time and was helped right away from the staff. The girl with pink hair (I'm so sorry I didn't catch your name) was really helpful and immediately gave my dog a treat which was much appreciated. She then helped me try out a new product "Just Food for Dogs" which is human grade freeze packaged meals for pets. My dog loved it btw, but it's a bit Boujee for an everyday meal. Really appreciated the help and friendliness of the staff, would definitely go back.

Good small location, however, they do not carry any water type of aquatic things like fish or reptiles nor do they have any live pets at this location. Fortunately, they do carry a very small selection of fish/reptile supplies which is more than what other locations can offer that simply don’t carry any at all. I wish they could state that outside the store or something instead of wasting trips to see if they have this department or not. Like neighborhood Walmarts, it’s in the name. I know I won’t find hardware things at neighborhood Walmarts bc it’s mainly grocery things. Please implement something like that.

I had a wonderful interaction with a sales clerk who was very knowledgeable. She easily helped me find the product that my senior cat needed to extend her life!! My picky eater cat is eating the product and the diarrhea symptoms are better . I am so very grateful. Thank you

The one on 64th and Sheridan is friendly and helpful. The prices are a little high and they don't carry some items that my cats like. However if you want great clumping litter that doesn't smell and is quite reasonably priced this is the place! Just keep bringing back your litter bucket for a refill and get a discount each time! The staff are great and very helpful at this store.

This Petco seemed smaller than others but the people working at it were very friendly and helpful. Shout out to Bridgette who was very knowledgeable when it came to dog food. She was very patient and helped us get the best food for our dog. She was so great!

Pleasantly surprised by this pet co. Not your typical pet store they don't sell live pets fish or other wise. They offer tons of upscale items for animals. The worker's are beyond friendly and have treats ready for your furry companions when you walk in. They don't have a very big section for small animals this place is defiantly for cats and dogs.

First, after a fire we had to get dog food and an employee recommended a new brand and our dog loves it. So we had to repurchase and get some of the Wellness treats too. The employees are always helpful and nice.

I like this place. They have always been helpful and friendly. It is a small store so don't expect a large selection of items. I can usually find what I need though and the employees remember us and our dogs.

It is a smaller location but they had the specific food and litter I was looking for. I had on my to-do list to use a $10 off coupon that I had received; the cashier Bridgette let me know that my coupon was for PetSmart -- then she said "but I'm happy you came to see us; we'll honor that discount because we're better ;-)" This was awesome!! We also noticed at the time that there was still a sign up from their Black Friday sale offering free antlers with purchase & she excitedly informed us that she still had more and would love to give us some -- we have 6 dogs and 2 cats and it's been a blast having them model their antlers. Bridgette deserves appraisal for her demeanor, couldn't've been more pleasant and happy!! Thanks Bridgette & thanks PetCo!

This place is sooo tiny. I didn’t know they made these places so small. Lack of options. I was looking for a rabbit cage and they didn’t have any. When I asked where they were they just pointed and walked away. I had to go find someone again just to find out they don’t have what we needed.

Waste of time. Came out for a product that their website said they had in stock, the only one in West Denver. Come to find out they don't even carry aquaculture products, and they're the smallest store in the state.I tried to explain my misunderstanding, pointing out the website is giving wrong information, and the cashier starts trying to argue with me about it.Y'all are too overpriced and inconvenient to be treating your customers like that. Thanks for reminding me why I will buy from anywhere but PetCo.

Does not have the ability to accept large bills even when trying to purchase many items. Told me I needed to go get change. I can't take my dog into King Soopers, so I had to go. I feel like they don't wanr ro work.
