It's a smaller Petco but honestly, they are very well stocked. It's also bigger inside than it looks like it will be from outside. That said, they didn't have what I wanted on this particular trip so I ended up ordering on Chewys. The cat toy aisle on this trip had been hit hard and not restocked. However, I'll absolutely go back because they have our regular cat litter and the employees have been nice and friendly on both my trips.

Awesome vet team! They’re prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. One of the only vets I’ve been to in the area that lets me go back to the patient room with my cat. It makes him feel safe knowing I’m right there while he gets his shots, and makes me less anxious as I can see him, comfort him, and be aware of everything that’s happening to him.

Came to this store to try to buy puppy food but they unexpectedly closed over an hour+ early and greeted me at the locked door to inform me because of the extremely cold weather they had closed and could not let me in (company policy) but that I could drive around the metro area to hopefully find an open store with the food in stock. My quick 10 min trip took me 2 hours of driving in horrible weather. I really hated this stores lack of consideration for my position, I won't be back.

We’ve been bringing our French bulldog to get groomed here for the past year. Nicole is absolutely AMAZING. She is always incredibly sweet and takes amazing care of our pup. She always makes sure he’s clean and gets a thorough brushing. This last time we took him, he was dressed in a Thanksgiving bandana, and was given a little bag of treats and a stuffed turkey toy. We really couldn’t say thank you enough ❤️

By far the worst experience I've ever encountered. I've never been so embarrassed and treated so poorly in my life. The lady vet had a very hostle attitude for me running late I apologized and explained I had a hard time getting my dog in the car and I called ahead of time. Long story short she was rude, disrespectful talking to me as if I was a child and embarrassing me while other customers were around, she proceeds to tell me that if I can't speak with her respectfully she'll cancel both appts in which she did anyways. All this and not one word was spoken to her until she was done venting. I explained to her I'm not sure what the problem is but I would like a manager.. go figure she clicks at her name tag and says that's me!!! I'm the one and my DESICION is final. Wow I understand stress at this type of environment but wow. As I sat there waiting for anther petco to answer she runs off and yells across the store, Mateo and snaps her fingers. A gentleman then approaches and says I understand there's a problem, I said no problem just waiting for my appt to be rescheduled or canceled he said you'll need to leave the store and I'll give you a number to call and schedule elsewhere. All this going on and not once did I get upset nor have any hostility towards any of them I simply asked when I could in next. To be treated so poorly and then to see the floors had pee all over it and it was very dirty made me feel like I don't want take my dogs there anyway. I took the day off to go through this and then told the vets can decide who they see and don't want to see was just another blow.

Decided to go here after a couple years of buying exclusively online for my 2 dogs and 1 cat. I was in a bit of a hurry, so just wanted to pay and head out. When asked about a phone number I said "no thank you". Rather than moving on and just ringing my order, the cashier called out to the line behind me asking if anyone wants to give their number to get the points on "this ladies order". Then she made a production about some kind of rebate calling out "don't worry, I won't apply your rebate to this order" to the person who gave her number. It was ridiculous and felt passive aggressive. As if I was being mocked because I didn't want to play Petco's loyalty game. I returned the order and won't be back. I'm so tired of companies pressuring people for loyalty, personal information, charity, you name it! Why isn't my money on the exorbitant prices Petco charges enough in exchange for the product?

I went in to surprise my kiddos with some new fish. We waited in the Aquatics area for 20 minutes. When I asked an employee for help, they said they’d call someone, but no one ever came. We left with no fish for my kids. Kinda sucked.

Bad customer service made my kids cry cause this lady was having a bad day not OK she should be fired or don't work there 🤔 worst experience in my life talk about rude and judgmental had some serious anger issues well don't bring it to work or get someone else who deals with that alse think twice before you go in to this one just sayong

Jade is always very happy coming to Petco, she gets all of her wonderful outfits and new toys from here! We have always enjoyed picking out new toys, bones and clothes here. The stores overall have made a huge turnover, this store is clean, well stocked, well employed, and overall very friendly. Everyone looks like they are actually happy to be at there jobs it’s wonderful getting to have a beautiful shopping experience time and time again. Thank you Petco for being our trusted shop for Jade.

We adopted a new kitten and brought her home immediately. We didn't have any supplies for her, so I ran over to this Petco, which is the closest pet store to my house. I got some great advice on kitten food from the staff. While the selection of cat food and litter was good, the options for litter boxes, bowls, collars, and toys was somewhat limited. After I bought the supplies I needed, I compared prices with other stores and found Petcos prices on the products beside litter and food were very high. They didn't have many kitten collars to choose from, but we did find this adorable collar with little silken roses on it. It was $10 which seemed like a lot to spend for something so little, but it was adorable, so we bought it for her.

Bought 2 hamsters from there 2 months ago. We were told if a hamster dies we are required to take its carcass back to store for proper disposal. Yesterday we took back 1 hamster that died for unknown reasons. The girl Bridget made Mr feel stupid for taking it back. We went to pick out another hamster and apparently Bridget called the store manager Mateo. He came and informed me that they cannot do a refund since it was over 30 days (I never asked for refund)I informed him I wasn't asking for a refund im just buying another hamster. But both him and Bridget were being very rude about it and made me feel unwelcomed so I left with my crying son because we weren't able to purchase another hamster. I will never return to that store and I will be contacting corporate for the way we were treated.

Always have the basic things I need for a dog, cat, and fish. Sometimes take a few minutes to get help when buying new fish. Other than that it's always quick and easy.

I brought Cubby in 8/9/23 for severe itching I am an over the road truck driver from California and Cubby is my road partner and have been for the last 11 years so we came in and he was not feeling good and I can’t say enough about the help and information that was given by Dr Weberg and the staff so friendly and helpful as you can imagine not easy having you’re furbaby sick and being away from home the staff and Dr made me feel so comfortable and reduced my stress and I’m sure Cubbys as well!! I thank you so much and as you can see he is back to himself!! Lol! Thank you for making our Vet visit that much easier! I’m so thankful to you all!! Thanks again!!

The customer service from everyone at this location, and the Manager (whom I just met last week because he was the one ringing up my order) are fantastic. They really care that the customers are being helped and want us to come back. Their love of pets is obvious. The manager listened to my small concern that I always have trouble loading my points and patiently helped me out. He recommended some really good, fresh, human grade dog food, and even gave me a sample! My dog really likes it. Very professional, friendly, and courteous. I will definitely be coming back to this location!

WON'T BE GOING BACK.Showed up, as a repeat customer, to get my dog updated for ONE oral vaccine. That's all I scheduled, and nothing else was said from the staff. Came out of the appointment and the total was an additional $75 for an exam! What exam? You looked at my dog's teeth. Their explanation was that "legally" she has to have an exam to be administered a vaccine. Oh, so you have to charge me $75 to be legally compliant? But you don't have to get my consent or even mention the exam?YOU CHARGED $121 TO STICK A SYRINGE IN A DOG'S MOUTH.

Helped me grab a cart which I felt bad asking for but he did it without hesitation / without me asking. I never write reviews either so super floored with my experience today it made my day

Another wasted trip for grooming, vet puts dog on allergy med. Last dose 8pm, spend 30 minutes driving to get told they won't do the grooming because he's had allergy med..Can't wait to use the last free grooming, no one has matched Stephen from the petco in Gillette.

We had the best experience buying a new lizard for my son yesterday. I wish I knew the name of the associate who helped us. Not only did she stay 45 after her shift to hep us, she compared all the prices online to make sure we got the best deal. The manager on duty was also super helpful and nice. Arvada, CO store, we will be back!

I had an amazing experience with Groomer Amy yesterday for my dogs haircut appointment. Moving from a different state ; my dog was use to the same groomer for quite some time. So the transition was a little scary but Amy made it very pleasing and great. My dog looked a little crazy lol so she did great in Keeping her beauty while shaving most of her hair. I will definitely come back on a regular to get her done with her. Most importantly my dog can sense who she’s likes and doesn’t like and she was loving the cuddles the groomer was giving her. ++++ highly recommend her .

We had a phenomenal visit on 10/13/23 at the location Arvada, CO off of 80th and Wadsworth. My Fiancé and I had just adopted a puppy and Aleish (? I cannot remember their name unfortunately) was FANTASTIC. They introduced us to the puppy/dog trainer and walked us through the entire store and helped us pick out a quality and budget food along with a bed and some great new toys for our new friend. They were so incredibly patient and helped us find a ton of great new items for our pup (not to mention, made our pup fall in love with them with the treats they were carrying). Thank you so much!!

This Petco is my favorite. It's large, has great parking, and it's next to King Soopers. They have shelter kitties (probably dogs too) for adoption for low costs. And their cat section is huge for a pet store, which are always dog-focused. Lots of inexpensive scratchers (that totally sell out though), food, toys, etc, and a huge selection in general. They also have seperate sections for basic food and premium pet foods, and I'm able to even find some smaller, Colorado based brands. Love that.

Out of my cat food. Second time in a month. Talked to cashier about them ordering more. She was kind of flippant. If you are always out of the same food, the purchaser for the store might want to add more. But they had the smaller size. More than $1 more to get the same ounces. Disappointed, probably for the last time.

I love this Petco. The groomers are so good to my dogs and they get so excited to come here. They do such a perfect job with their nails too. I always worry because one of my dogs has black nails and it's very easy to knick the quick but they always do them exactly the right length. And everyone here is so nice and friendly. I appreciate them having their pronouns on their name badges too.

They got rid of the best dog food for our dog, and it was even a good seller for petco! We cant find a good dog food now because petco took a great food away from customers. Our dog suffers from IBD and needs limited ingredient grain free food, that food was perfect for us! Petco bring the Whole Hearted limited ingredient salmon recipe back in stock!!!!

I have 2 Shitz Tsu and they are a handful to take care of. I have gone through many groomers in the 7 yrs I've had them. I went to that particular Petco for a groomer, Izzy. She is wonderful! My dogs came out happy as ever! My little girl did if the test. She had been happy, loved Izzy and is happier than I have seen her with a groomer! Good process and Happy pups makes for a good day!

It was easy to get in and out of. The only issue I had was one of the employees who I assumed was an employee because she was stocking shelves. I felt like she saw me looking but she didn't ask to help until I finally asked if she worked there. Her clothes were not identifiable as an employee so I was hesitant to ask. Otherwise it was a well put together store.
