Honestly, having worked plenty of grocery and produce jobs in the past, I'm kinda flabbergasted as to how they can do such a terrible job at everything here and still stay open. Go elsewhere for your food. Trust me.

Staff is unfriendly, and more concerned if your stealing, if they can record you, what color you are and or if your just generally up to no good then they are concerned about being a decent grocery store and helping out everyone get what they need to go on about their day. Not once do any workers ask if you need assistance looking for anything nor do they care enough to stop a 6 worker conversation to get some of the people trying to buy things out. Store manager Nora was super awesome and on top of her stuff.

Imagine a grocery store so bad that you have to review it. It’s hard to imagine, but this is the one.This place has many problems, but the final straw is that the whole place now smells like death, as in rotting animal carcasses. There is an overwhelming odor as soon as you walk in the door, past the visible rat traps. I’ve smelled this odor before and I know what it is. It’s unmistakable.Combine that with the rotting food on the shelves, items passed their expiration dates, meats with no weight or expiration date labeled, marked prices that ring up higher at the register, poor stocking, no checkout lanes ever open, carts all over the parking lot, no baskets, dogs roaming free, and lazy employees too busy chatting or playing on their phones to do literally anything about anything and you get the worst grocery store I’ve ever been to in the world. I’ve been to stores in third-world countries that make this place look shameful.Keep in mind that Kroger profited a record $3.1 Billion last year.

Love King Soopers, they have everything you need! Full service Pharmacy, Deli, Meat, and Bakery Department. Still the old fashioned way of having butchers and deli and bakery staff prepare made to your order. Yet, has super fast check out to get and go. Has the friendliest staff that will go out of your way to help you. Managers, Travis and Angelo ( seen in pics) work very diligently to make sure the shelves are full and customers are taken care of. Very clean and inviting. I've even seen security help and escort our elderly and disabled to help find certain items and reach things that they couldn't, including me. Great place to shop.

I'm leaving a 1 star review because this location does not have any baskets or smaller shopping carts. They only have large shopping carts, which is really inconvenient when you just need to get a couple of things. The selection is also pretty small for a king soopers.

They have really pushed customers to use the self checkout at this store. They only have one, maybe two checkers open at a time. I would say 99.9% of the time the self checkout machine are a pain to use. They always stop working because they think you are stealing items. So you have to wait for… you guessed it, another checker to come watch the camera to see that you aren’t stealing to proceed to check out. Majority of the time multiple self checkout’s aren't working or only take cash or card. I would say 9 out of 10 times I have to wait for a checker to come fix the machine because it stops working for one reason or another multiple times per one transaction. If they have other customers struggling with other machines, you have to wait or search out the checker who is helping on the side you are on. They are always nice and apologize, but you can tell the frustration that is going on with the constant issues from those machines. We dread going to this store!

Check your receipts before you leave the store! Tonight I was just charged $15 for a $1 item!!!I'm ...- charged incorrectly for something almost each time I shop- always having to check myself out since there is never an employee working an actual register- so frustrated with the self-service system since each scan results in the system telling me to place the item in the bagging area when I've ALREADY DONE SO, and after the 5th-7th item I've scanned results in the system freezing until the employee manning the self-service area decides to stop talking with his/her buddies or customers and actually comes to assist; adding another 10 minutes to my checkout time• The manager and staff are NOT friendly• Bathrooms are dirty and stink• Minimal gluten-free and dairy-free optionsI called the store at 10:30PM to find out when the service desk opened. Not only did the guy who answered sounded stoned, but he unprofessionally answered "Hello," not "Thank you for calling King Soopers," and was guessing as to when they opened. Seriously?!HELLO, remember me, the customer, spending my hard earned money to help keep y'all working and the lights on?! (SMH)Soon the new units being built, where the old Kmart was, will be occupied and those folks will be shopping at this store. Let's see how things will be then.

Zero stars this location is TERRIBLE. Our family used to shop here all the time. Now we go to other locations. 58th and Independence should close for good.

The location is convenient and that's about the only good thing. The store is a bit outdated and not very visually pleasing. But the worst part is the customer service. It is SEVERELY lacking in this store. This staff is not happy and it shows. There was a man stocking dairy that was extremely rude to me for no reason. Then we got to check out and the checker had an attitude. I understand working with the general public is challenging, but this team needs a morale boost or something. I will avoid just to keep my mood stable lol

It's like they aren't even trying anymore- they never have any hand baskets, no smaller push carts; the big signs with location of products doesn't match where things are; you can't fit reusable bags on their check-out carousel bc they still have 4 plastic bag holders so it's always a hassle to self-check out.A stark contrast compared to other King Soopers stores in the area. Sad!Generally, the employees are nice though.

I’ve grown up in this neighborhood and so have my children. It was a good store when I was growing up but the customer service here is the worst I’ve seen almost anywhere. It sucks that it’s close to my house and I refuse to travel further. I go to Walmart when I can, but in reality, they should close this store, rebuild it, and get a whole new staff….

By far the worst service I've ever seen, the manager of the store couldn't even count $1000 in cash for a money order, took her 30 minutes to count it and some how counts it wrong after taking all that time and trys to charge me $120 because she doesn't know how to properly count money, then gets a attitude and denies me service when I proved that she counted my money wrong. Great comstomer service king Soopers!

Everything was stocked well but their grab and go was looking pretty sad. Sloppy wraps, no sushi bar, and Mac and cheese didn't go through my system so well. Otherwise all other standard grocery items were available, quick check out.

This place has really went downhill. Not only does the front of the store have an unpleasant stench and the floors appear dirty, but most of the employees are young juvenile types who don't take their job seriously. When you are in the checkout lanes, instead of helping you they just talk very loudly, laugh, horse play with each other and they rarely ever attend to the needs of the customers. The place has a ridiculous amount of security, alarms on the front door, cameras over every lane, several security guards who follow the customers around and stare while you shop. I seen the alarm go off for several elderly folks and they acted like they did something wrong, caused a scene because of how inefficient they are they treat customers like they did something wrong. I avoid this store now and go to the Walmart across the road.

The employees that haven't quit are doing their absolute best, and they're incredibly friendly and helpful despite, but poor management has horribly understaffed this store. It's plain to see that they're taking advantage of their few remaining employees, and the managers can never be seen helping, only giving orders and passing responsibility to others. I feel *bad* shopping there because the staff already has far too much on their plate without another customer in their face. They need to pay more, or pay honestly, so they can get more good people in the door, and not simply scrape by by exploiting anyone. They're a gigantic corporation, there is no excuse.

This is by far the best pharmacy in the Denver Metro! Tom, Rosemary, & the rest of the staff are amazing. Kind, caring, helpful, etc. I needed last minute help getting a prescription filled before leaving town. With no hesitation they got me taken care of even though it was a complicated situation, and everything was ready within 30 minutes.I can’t come close to expressing my satisfaction, gratitude, and overall appreciation for them!

This King Soopers seems to always be less stocked and less maintained than other King Soopers. The meat department seems to never have their brand of chicken out and the produce always seems to be of lower quality compared to other Soopers. The one a bit further up the road is much better. The one in Golden seems to be the best in the area.

RUDE employees. I’ve never seen employees of king Soopers as disrespectful as the ones at this location. Every five minutes starting at 10:30 they go “we are closing, make your way up to the front of the store.” We we’re shopping at the back of the store and without even making eye contact this employee walks by and says “you need to go up to the front and check out” as she passed us.After we made our way out at 10:51, they wouldn’t let a guy shop who was trying to go in. He said he worked at a different king Soopers and had never been able to cut people off until the close time.Never a sorry, have a good night, please or thank you from these people. So much for customer service.They do this every time we go. I also used to work at king Soopers and I have NEVER seen this king of attitude except for this specific location. Someone needs to do something about this because this is ridiculous.

Great experience this evening! Got here around 8:30pm. They weren’t crowded and employees were stocking shelves and cleaning. They had EVERYTHING I needed ! I was so pleased because stores are out of a lot of items these days and you end up making multiple trips, which you don’t want to do right now. Employees were helpful,also. Great experience 😁
