The best place to do the snowmobiling is Crested Butte/Kebler Pass. Mesmerizing views no matter where you look! We received a reminder call for our reservation that was booked for the next day, to make sure that we get to the office 1 hour - 45 minutes early. Please get to the office early to fit the snow gear and drive to the destination for unforgettable adventures.We reserved the Half Day Guided Snowmobile tour, riding double. A couple of hours won’t be enough if you would like actually have fun!Our guide Tim was awesome!!! We made stops to take pictures and enjoyed beautiful views of Crested Butte.Everything was very well organized with straight forward directions on the process of the experience we booked. We would love to comeback and do this again with Action Adventures Team! Thank you for giving us a great memory of CB.

We LOVE going on the snowmobiles every Christmas! The staff is so friendly and helpful! The guides are pretty awesome and we always have a fun and beautiful ride. The only reason it is not 5 stars is they do not offer any insurance for the ride. So if you mess up the sled by flipping it over or running into something you are required to pay for that and any other refunds they issue due to the incident. So it can become pretty costly. If they offered an insurance to cover that if it does happen I would purchase it every time. Even if it was $50 each I would still pay for it, even though 90% of the time nothing happens, but if something did happen it would be nice to have the insurance. Other than that 5 stars for the wonderful adventure and memories made here!

We had an awesome 2-hour guided snowmobile ride with Colorado Adventures. We arrived about 45 minutes before the tour to get fitted for snow boots and helmets and then we met our guide, Bobby, at the Kebler Pass. Our group of 7 were all first-time riders, so he made sure we were all comfortable with the machines before we took off. The scenery was awesome and the trip was so much fun. Bobby was a great guide and we all had a blast. Highly recommend!

Colorado adventures did not disappoint! They set us up, gave us directions for the trails, and sent us on our way. We had never been atving before and we had a blast. We did Slaughter House Gulch and went up to see the cemetery( which was really neat) then we went up and did Neapolitan pass which was a steep and rocky climb up, but it was worth it! We only did the 4 hour rental and had wished we done the full day so we could’ve stopped for a nice lunch break. Highly recommend, will be back with our kids one day!

Mark was our guide for the 4 hour excursion. UNBELIEVABLE VIEWS.Probably our favorite part of the trip.Best part was the drive was only about 5 minutes and we were on the snowmobiles. Already planning a return trip next year!!!!

Me and my dad rented a machine from Colorado adventure rentals last weekend and had a wonderful time exploring the Colorado back country. The staff was very helpful and suggested a route that is exactly what we were looking for. Kyle and Doug were both very helpful with providing local insights on good restaurants and things to see as well.

Called the day of looking for 5 units, it was last minute and first they said they had 4 but ran around and by the time we got there they had 5 ready to go!The guy was beyond helpful, really went above and beyond to make sure we were good once we went out on the trails.It's Colorado so I know it's all beautiful, but seriously no matter where you went on the trails it was breathtaking scenery!!

We rented two 2-seat side-by-sides and took them out for three hours. The communication was great both via email and telephone. We picked up our helmets in Crested Butte and then headed out to meet the guys with the machines. The machines were in great condition and the gentlemen went over the operation with us along with showing us the trials in the area. I would recommend these folks to anyone!

Love this place, been wanting to go back, couple of notes:-this is not a disney land ride... you can die, you are given an ATV to go where you want, you are just given a time to be back by-make sure you download to your phone the trails and maps of the area-American Flag mountain is an amazing view point, definitely not easy, don't go alone in case something happens-lots of easier trails if you want to shy away from the crazy stuff

Best atv trip ever! One of the best things I’ve ever done in my entire life. Rental was easy, equipment was perfect, trails and views were incredible. Rob at the Taylor Park location was super helpful and kind. So many trails to choose from in Taylor Park and they allow you to go wherever you choose. No matter which way you choose, everything is beautiful. Saw a moose on the trails. Can’t recommend highly enough

We were in trouble this morning when our camper batteries died out boon docking and we could not start our generator. We could not close the slide on our camper. We limped into Colorado Adventure ATV and they hooked up a charger so we could start the generator. He never hesitated to help us and refused to take a tip. He even offered to fix us coffee. We will certainly use this establishment if we are back in this area again.

Very beautiful and unique experience. We booked an off road atv at Taylor Park and it was an amazing experience. We took the route of Tincup Pass, went all the way up to the pass 12k ft and came down, couldn't go further from there due to time constraints. We booked it for 3 hrs and it was sufficient time for us. You could also book it for more hrs or even for a whole day. There is a beautiful lake that comes on the way and it is so pretty to ride by the lake. Roads do get bumpy and rocky as you move forward but it's so much fun.Do plan to reach 15 mins in advance. A guy there instructed us on how to operate the atv, it was a nice explanation. They do charge extra if you drop off late, so plan accordingly. Overall, a very nice and fun experience if you like adventures

We have rented from Colorado Adventure Rentals 2 times now, once in Sep 2016 (3 ATVs) and once in Sep 2018 (4 ATVs). Both times we rode for 3 days (keeping the ATVs overnight) and both time we were given current year Polaris ATVs that had been very well maintained. We don't abuse the equipment, but we due put it through its paces on the trails doing 60 - 70 miles/day...and the equipment has performed flawlessly for us. Darrell has been a phenomenal source of info on the area, and the team onsite in Taylor Park is very, very friendly and accommodating (e.g. they bring us gas cans and leave them by our cabin so we can leave very early morning). I cannot say enough good things about the people at Colorado Adventure Rentals, by renting these machines they are enabling the Colorado experience of a lifetime and for this we are grateful. I would suggest that those that have had negative experiences perhaps need to reevaluate their experience and put into perspective how their actions and/or lack of experience may have contributed to the outcome of their particular situation. Our crew will be renting from Colorado Adventure Rentals for many years to come! Thanks Darrell and team for enabling some of the greatest adventures we have had in our lives!!

Definitely the nicest SxS I've ever driven. Comfortable, bluetooth speakers, an actual screen, and awesome performance! We got set up with safety gear and training quickly and were off for a great afternoon. Great explanation of the terrain led us to an awesome, perfectly timed route.

This place is awesome if you are looking for a more intense snowmobile tour. I've rented snowmobiles in Breck from another company and it was awful. But here it was the opposite. Guide(Mike) was better, scenery, sled(2-stroke 600), trails, snow, price... all way better. It does depend upon your group, if you have small kids assigned to your group it will be a slower group as it should be. I was thinking about going unguided without the tour but so glad I went guided, as I would have been over my head. We go dumped on the night before, and everyone got stuck at one point. That comes with the territory, I'll take it every time.

Did the high adventure single rider tour on Saturday 1/14/23 (A Group of 4), and it was EPIC. Great trip, perfect amount of time, and Andrew was amazing. If you are ever in the Crested Butte area, and want to go snowmobiling you have to check out Colorado Adventure Rentals, LLC. You will not regret it.

I went on a snowmobile tour in early December 2022, and the trip started out great. However, about three quarters into the tour, we started going down a rather very narrow path, and I happened to lose control of the snowmobile for a split second, and I hit a tree. I had a brief discussion with management about the damage, and they mentioned they’d call me to inform me of the damage I was liable for. I received the call 2 weeks later and the damage was $2,000, or so they say as they only provide you one bid, and lord knows whether or not it’s accurate. I was more than willing to pay my fair share of the damage, but the management refused to negotiate and/or discuss the damage, and just charged the card they had on file. So be warned, if your insurance does not cover non-auto related accidents (and most don’t)and you find yourself in the same predicament I was in, you’re at the financial mercy of this company, and from my experience it’s an unfair and rather costly experience.
