Our family had two rooms in this cool lodge. I took a room facing the road with two of my kids while my husband took a room facing the back. The rooms don't have AC so we had the windows open, but people sitting outside chatting had us up until 10:30 or so. Finally got up to close the windows for quiet. Cars going by are also quite loud, but they don't drive by too much at night. Someone came into the room next to me around midnight and that kept me up, too, as walls are quite thin. Husband and two other kids had a great night's sleep on the backside of the lodge, though! I can imagine getting a cabin would be more quiet and restful. Weren't there during their open hours but would have loved to see what they sell down in the lodge. I would stay here again but in a cabin. It's a beautiful spot!

We decided to stay an extra night by RMNP and found Meeker Park Lodge in the Wild Basin area. Very friendly owners/hosts and such a pretty area. We stayed at the mountain view cabin. It was very rustic but cozy. It was close to the road, but at night, not many cars came by, and we were exhausted, so no lights would have woken us up anyway. The shower was hot, and the gas heater got us toasty quickly. The twin beds were surprisingly super comfy! Close to lots of hiking. We'll be back and check out the lodge next time!Nearby activities: Close to hiking and exploring in Rocky Mountain National Park

We arrived late and left early, but it provided what we needed: a clean, (mostly) quiet place to shower and sleep. We had room #3 which has a private bathroom. It is rustic with no TV, fridge, or microwave, but it has a lot of character and we didn't need them anyway. The beds were comfortable, but the walls were thin. Water from other bathrooms and conversation from other rooms can be heard. The location is about 20 minutes from the Bear Lake Corridor entrance which is quite nice when you fail to get a timed entry and want to get in the gate before 5:00 a.m.

Settled between Allenspark and Estes Park we found this hidden gem. We stayed at one of their cabins for 2 nights, very reasonably priced. Hot water, clean beds, the charming little cabins were perfect for our family of 5 and dog(shepard mix). It was so peaceful and i have never seen as many stars. Our kids got to go on pony rides and are begging to go on one of their guided rides through the rocky mountains on our next trip. The staff was really nice and helpful, we plan to return again soon!

Cute lodge near Estes park. We wanted to disconnect for a few days and this is perfect. No tv, or cell service. They do have wifi, but it’s just enough to get some text messages. The people are friendly, and if you are hiking in the RMNP every day you’ll sleep well! The store is cute and has most everything you need to pack a lunch for hiking and sightseeing.Downside is there is no service to the room, so we took our own trash out and just made sure our own room was tidy. But again to save a few dollars I’m perfectly fine with that.Rooms: Cozy rooms, we didn’t hang out in the for a long time since we were out exploring. Very rustic, which is what we expected.Nearby activities: Estes park, twin sisters lake, longs peak, Mary’s lake, Rocky Mountain National Park

Happened across this amazing lodge after we hiked to the top of Lily Mountain and it was idyllic and beautiful. The staff were kind and welcoming and they had fresh food to buy for incredibly reasonable prices (esp compared to Estes Park inflation) and we were able to freshen up in the restrooms and sit down in the lodge to cool down. Seriously great! I imagine it would be a very cool place to stay and rent a room or cabin here.

Convenient distance from Estes Park.Heater worked really well.Important to go in expecting a hiker's lodge. Not fancy, but all the essentials were there. 2nd floor porch a bonus!Bring your own water for coffee.Walls were pretty thin. Poor sound insulation. Lots of people coming and going early to hit trails.Cool, cozy spot.

Not your typical place to stay. Staying here was like stepping into a simpler time. One half of the lodge rooms have bathrooms attached, the other half do not. There are also cabins available. We stayed in a lodge room with bath attached. It was a quiet pleasant stay. This place is not your average location so keep that in mind. It is SO close to Wild Basin Trailhead, Longs Peak and Twin Sisters trails and more! I recommend checking it out.Nearby activities: Hiking at RMNP, trail rides, etc. Wi-fi: It is available but not reliable.Noteworthy details: If you are camping nearby they offer showers for non guests as well. Main lodge closes at 6 pm.

Didn't stay at the lodge since we had our family cabin up the road, but we DID take a ride at the STABLES while we visited this summer. It was GREAT! My 8-year-old was in her element and it was a great last activity for her first time in Colorado. We had Dominic as our guide and he was excellent. He made very easy conversation and made our kiddo feel so confident. We felt like we knew them personally and were a part of the family. Everyone we came in contact with was AWESOME! Ashley was kind and the other wranglers were fun and knowledgeable. The horses were full of personality and you could tell everyone knew them and loved them. My husband is a tall large man and he had a blast!Dom was great! The horses were great! The trail was great, but the star of the show was PETEY! Can't wait to go back. Check em out! It's a cool way to see the area. Worth the price.

We weren’t allowed to do laundry after 4. They closed the lobby after 5 which was the only place to hang out inside if you wanted to be out of your room. No cell service. Super thin walls. Only sheer curtains so anyone outside could see inside. No 3 prong outlets so couldn’t plug in a laptop. No one worked in the building after 5. Bed was super uncomfortable

Cool place to stay near Estes Parka and Rocky Mountain National Park. Only complaint would be the bed was fairly stiff and uncomfortable. Otherwise, great experience, people and good location!Rooms: Fairly stiff and uncomfortable bedNearby activities: 20 minutes from Estes Park and the National Park entrance is even closer.

We went into the lodge and store. Nice lodge, very attractive Place. The store is small but convenient, some fun things to try. Very friendly guy who was working in there as well.Nearby activities: It's location is near many RMNP attractions, it's in the mountains itself at about 8,000 feet elevation. Some attractions close by are Lily Lake, multiple trail heads and scenic drives. We are near by vacationing and the store came in handy as well as being able to do laundry. Horses are available as well.

Somewhat quirky historic log cabin lodge. Forgot to take photos of the elk heads in the lounge downstairs. Kathy at the desk very helpful with park and local area info. Place could use some maintenance work. Also would be a great improvement if the downstairs were open in the evening and early morning. Access to upstairs is by stairs only.

We always stay at Meeker Park Lodge whenever we travel to Colorado. The lodge is nicely situated between Lyons and Estes Park, Colorado, and is about a 40 minute drive from Nederland, Colorado. It’s one of our favorite places to be at. The employees are wonderful, the cabins are cozy, and the scenery is absolutely beautiful! They recently renovated their lodge and we just love the changes. I highly suggest visiting Meeker Park Lodge.

This place was amazing. We stumbled across is on our way up to Estes Park (we weren’t actually planning on staying the night anywhere, we were going to head back to Littleton). The woman that greeted us was so nice and the place was so cool - we rented a cabin for the night and stayed the weekend. Really cool old cabin, no cell service/Wi-Fi, just built us a fire in the fireplace and relaxed. It was perfect. 10/10 will be back here again.

I used to work here in the Summer time in 1973 and 1974. Family who own this lodge and cabins are wonderful people. The three sisters, Laura. Patty and Bonnie now run the lodge after their great parents both passed away. If you need a quiet, serene and beautiful get away, you have to stay here for a couple days. They also have their own horses you can ride on, as well as laundry amenities and small grocery store.

Stopped in here for a shower after camping nearby. The staff were so nice and the showers were a dream after camping and hiking for a few days. The little store has everything you need if you’re in the area camping. Was so happy we stopped in here. 6 stars!

We stopped here to use their showers. as of July, 2019 they charged $5 for a hot shower and can lend you a towel for less than a dollar if you don't have or don't want to use your own. They have a little store with everything from dry goods, shampoo, fruit, and ice cream sandwiches and take credit cards. The lodge looked nice but unfortunately they don't serve food there.

Quaint , Rustic , and Wonderful. The place that memories are made. Horseback riding, hiking , exploring Estes Park and relaxing. The cabins are fun...beautiful woodburning fireplaces with rustic down home interiors. Kitchens with a little grocery store at the lodge. The smell of bacon cooking in the mornings. Forget about cell phones..each cabin has a phone that works though. You will want to return each year. God's Country.

Was camping at Roosevelt national forest, went here to shower. Very clean. We had our own supplies, however if I could buy a baggie with shampoo a and soap maybe more hikers would use

I have never been treated so damn good before. No joke. My hubby and I stopped in there because our car was acting up. Not only did the owner of the place help us out with tools etc. She also brought out chocolate bars. Lol, needless to say we ended up getting a room for the night. Cozy, clean and very much felt like home. THANK YOU!

Simply the best! Haven't had the honor of staying here in some time. I believe my last visit was in the early 2000's. One of the most charming and family friendly places ever. My parents and I would visit when I was younger but I have so many fond memories and I'm finally getting to the point in my own family's life that I hope they haven't closed. It will always hold a special place in my heart. Returned more than 10 times and the Denver's are the best. The peace and tranquility that can be found is simply amazing. Unplug from the world and stay a while. You won't ever regret it.

This was my first trip to Colorado, and I loved it! We stayed in a Meeker Park cabin it was so nice! Anytime we had a problem they were on it. I loved that they had a little store and gift shop in the lodge. My boyfriend and I definitely plan on returning to Meeker Park next year.

If you're looking for four star comfort and mints on your pillow you won't find it here.If you're looking for a rustic lodge with amazing views and proximity to some of the best trails in RMNP, then I would highly recommend staying here. Comfort and amenities? Head to Estes Park.Adventure and hiking? Head to Meeker Park Lodge.

A historic stop on the little used "back" route to Estes Park. Only open Memorial Day to Labor Day, this 95 year old establishment offers great scenery, a basic grocery, laundry, and is only 20 minutes from Estes Park/RMNP. Nice mountain getaway with a rustic feel and no crowds.
