I am so disappointed I went on Saturday to get my son his sandwiches for his 8th birthday I had saved 210 for his food everything I had needed... I called and ordered 3 platers of subs and 2 of sides I was only feeding about 40 people in total I have never ordered from their before if I knew the sides were going to be 20$ each and the sandwiches were 60$ each I would have never ordered from their I didn't know that 1 tray would feed everyone and then some... them knowing this still did not suggest that 1 tray was enough or that putting everything on the side was going to be an extra 20$ I would have gotten them with everything... I was well over my budget the total was 247$... I had to barrow money was not able to get my 8 year old his cake or ice cream... imagine that he turned 8 no cake no ice cream yet the store manager seen nothing wrong with the situation... nothing was offered to be done for was it even a thought to try and help the situation...

My husband and I had the best time shopping today at your store. Rowena was the one that checked us out. Out of all of our grocery shopping experiences that we have in the past 10 years that we have lived in Valley this was the best costumer service we have ever had. Thank you, Rowena!!!

$10 for a single vanilla bean? All hail capitalism! Decent efforts to social distance (floor guides, one way doors and masks). For some reason they had a run on their water section. Otherwise all the usual suspects and a decent beer selection (but what do you expect for Colorado).

Posted last night about no bathroom. Checked today. Confirmed that Safeway in Alamosa does not have the staff at night to keep bathrooms open. 1 cashier to WATCH people check themselves out. No one to check and clean bathrooms so they just close them. They also cover produce and fruits don't plan on shopping after 7. Come on managers if you won't provide enough staff to run a store with bathrooms and stocked fruit and vegetables just close. Why waste people time trying to find a step above walmart and give less then 7 11 amenities.either staff correctly or close.

Most expensive groceries in the area and definitely need to get a grip with caring about their employees it's beyond obvious they don't. Recommend new management at the least!

Very disappointed. I did not get my complete order. The eggnog was missing. Thought I would give Safeway a try for curbside pickup for a change. And, the delivery person was not at all friendly. Not even a smile.

This is just for the bakery. SO bummed! Picked up my husbands cake today and it looks horrible. It’s missing icing. The shape is all messed up and it’s cracking all over. Obviously I’m out of time and there was nothing I could do. Definitely go elsewhere for a BASIC cake :( so embarrassed to give this to him.

On 8/26 at 1:45:p.m. I Went to the Deli and there were 3 guys behind the counter just talking about some girl who didn’t show up to work because her back hurt. One of them looked like a manager. I was waiting to be helped and it took one minute until they finished talking and laughing right in front of me like I was invisible! The young man then came and asked what he could help me but he was still turned talking to these 2 guys. I just did not feel like a valued customer so I let them know that I would not be taking the food and left. The young man was stirring the very dry Mac and cheese to give it to me. No thanks. I was also going to order baked chicken but I did not want to give them my money. Very poor customer service and they not only lost a sale but also a customer. Very disappointed.

Terrible went because eggs and butter were on sale. All the butter that was on sale was gone and they didn't have eggs of any kind

We only got gas because their price was 10 cents cheaper than anywhere else. It is only 85 octane though so that explains the cheaper price. The gas station was well maintained with lots of room for bigger vehicles. We topped off our 32’ Motorhome.

Came early in the morning and they had a ton of hot food out. We ended up grabbing some chicken tenders and pizza and also a sandwich for the road. The sandwich was a pretzel with Swiss cheese and ham, lettuce and tomatoes. The food was a day or two old. The chicken tenders were dry and the pizza was very old.

The pharmacy is incredible. The pharmacists and techs are always kind and helpful.The store layout makes things a little difficult to find sometimes, but once you learn it, you can find anything! Never met an unkind employee there. Love grocery shopping or picking up my meds there. And I always bump into another patron who loves it just as much as I do.

I first came to this store when I moved to SLV several years ago. I thought I'd give it a chance since I had only gone to KS in Denver for years. I didn't go back as I felt the prices where just not as good as City Market, actually 20-30% for some of my regular items. I went back recently because of some awesome weekly specials. Needed a new card; got it. Checked out with new card, did not get specials as they were digital. Couldn't have 'installed' digital-it was a new card. asked if they could make an exception and you would have thought I'd asked the mgr for her left arm. It was a hassle. The ONLY pleasant person I encountered in the store was the cashier I was lucky enough to go to and she had no power to do anything. I'll not be going back.

Coupon this, coupon that, member this, member that. Extremely annoying, you have literally no idea what you pay for a product here.So I tried getting an account: website blocked me (i am foreign). So I tried the app, which was blocked in play stores outside of the US.So yeah, terrible.

I used to love this store, regardless of the exorbitant prices and the slow service. The stocking is definitely an issue as well. What makes me write a poor review was the treatment I received with my service dog awhile back.My service dog got sick in the store. I cleaned it up. The next time they said we would be trespassed if we attempted to shop there ever again while we were in line at the check out. I was finally advised to write a review about it after having waited many months to hear back to see if they would correct this, which they did not.This store is unfortunately just not what it used to be. I have seen it gone downhill over the years. The bathrooms are hit and miss with being clean.The staff is also hit and miss and some are very friendly while others are extremely rude. I guarantee that I will not be shopping there ever again and I share my experience with all of my friends and family in hopes that they find somewhere better to shop.It is unfortunate, because it really isn't the worst store. Just had a situation handled poorly. I wish I could give them more stars and a better review, but this is honestly how I feel they deserve to be reviewed at the moment.

Great store, I am not local, so I stopped in to grab something from the deli, and the entire deli section was closed down for remodeling so be aware currently. Overall a good clean store, they are locking their bathrooms at the time, and it requires employees assistance to enter.

This used to be my favorite place to shop. But in the last couple years, the employees have declined, their prices have gone WAY up, and the store had declined in cleanliness and appearance.

Safeway nearly always has everything you need so I cannot criticize this shop for anything. I do wish they have a better fuel points program but if you're rolling through town you won't find better within a few hours.
