I ordered a baby shower cake over the phone and asked the woman taking my order to be creative with the pipework, as I didn't know what to suggest for design. That can be the worst thing to ask someone to do, and yet she did not question my request. In addition to her great customer service, the cake turned out perfect! The effort put into it was obvious and very appreciated. I can't say it enough, Thank you so much!!!

I was shopping late tonight with my wife and the associate named Evelyn. She is an older lady with gray hair and was wearing it in a pony tail was very rude to my wife and I. We did take a little longer than usual at the self checkout however there was no line and plenty of other registers open. She did not have to make a comment about us taking forever especially as I am currently injured and can't even walk. I hope to never run into her again if I do come back to this city market location.

For the life of me, I cannot understand why this store has such awful produce. I was hoping with the renovations that it would get better, but nope! How much produce do they throw out because it's gone bad--wilty, slimy, or rubbery? Does anyone actually buy it? What do they even do with it to make it that way, and then why do they put it out on the shelves? Today the broccoli was rubber and don't get me started on the state of the lettuce (both bagged and non-bagged)! At least Safeway often has decent produce (because Walmart sure doesn't!), but I was really hoping for better from City Market! It's annoying having to visit multiple stores just to buy groceries.

No point having service desk that doesn't provide any service. When people come during open hours whole store should be available otherwise don't even bother to offer those services

The time was 9:50 nov 28th I was at the gas station buying a cartoon of marlboro reds the computer froze the lady did everything in her power to take care of the situation spike all the negative comments coming from the people behind me I would just like to say spike the computer freezing you were still professional and I do appreciate the effort she had made thank you lady from the gas station your Positivity help make the negative situation a good oneKeep up the good work

The store itself is awesome and has very friendly workers but the bakery is something else...ordered a cake and cupcakes and when I got them the top of the box was sunk into the frosting. It wasn't only that either...I asked for the name and the happy birthday to be in pink but when I arrived to pick it up it was in purple.

Usually, very friendly service, except customer service today. I needed some help. No friendly "Hi", no name by the person who answered the phone. I gave her mine and asked for her name. The answer was "we don't give a name; this is customer service" (in a rather unfriendly way). We've been customers for more than 25 years. Very disappointing.

City Market is currently undergoing major renovations to the store. They have added a Starbucks up front for shoppers. Many items have moved as the store continues to get organized. The staff remain helpful and courteous. You'll find everything you'll need at this location with the exception of a few minor things. The only thing that wouldake this the number one go to is the return of the salad bar. I'm afraid it's wishful thinking. Visit City Market today and rediscover everything they have to offer.

Kroger loves to sell gift cards, but they can't seem to figure out how to use them at gas station in Alamosa. What I got to my questions to the person at the kiosk was "probably". The customer service inside can't seem to understand that when people fill up, they have no way of knowing exactly how much it will be. They can't answer the question of how to get change back. They sent me out with a young employee who wanted to know everything all over again, and when I explained for the 6th time what my question was, he started talking about "thefts". I'm so tired of businesses putting ignorance and poor business practice to "theft". Sometimes customers experience theft from businesses also.

I'm short and old and can't reach some items and can rarely find an employee. And my phone won't download the digital coupons, verified by a clerk, so I'm often overcharged at the register but the courtesy desk reimburses me. It's just a pain in neck to wait in one more line and take another chunk of time.

The only place to go within 200 miles if you like decent cuts of meat and the private select Ice Cream is the best. All remember the harder Ice Cream is to scope means it's made with cream and not milk.

Lost my business for good tonight. A couple nights ago the inside doors were locked at 8, when they close at 10. Tonight they wouldn't give me 5 $ in quarters. If you don't have customer service, you won't have customers. I hate to shop at Walmart but if I'm going to get terrible service I'll take the cheaper prices Walmart has to offer. Since COVID businesses seem to have forgotten the customers pay their bills and create profits.

Bathrooms are horrible. You can't even fit in one of the stalls. They need remodeling .groceries are good but I need a decent restroom. I travel to the store 35 miles both ways and it needs improvement! I'll shop somewhere till they start cleaning the restrooms .

Friendly, family store. Clean and workers happy to help you. Prices are great. Good sales on groceries. Pharmacy is always correct in filling meds. Love the refill system they have. All the staff is great and helpful.

First time using pickup was horrible. My husband picked up the order I placed. They left off all the meat products we ordered and charged us. He didn't realize it and drove the hour back home. They said they called to tell us, but that was a lie. Management wasn't too concerned and refused to help. They credited my card, but now I have to drive two hours to get what I need for the next two weeks of meals. I don't like Wal-Mart, but at least they get pickup orders correct.

GREAT!!!! The store itself is so roomy. I have to ride in an automated cart. I didn't have to worry about running into someone or them into me. Every time I turned around there was a worker asking if they could help in any way. In other stores, I have to go and find someone hopefully!! Top shelves are hard for me. Or just finding where something is. This gentleman worked in another area; but, when I asked to help to find something he immediately took me to it.!!! The cashier and bagger were awesome. The cashier introduced me to the young lady who would be helping me get to my car. The whole store was friendly, showed respect and always had a smile on their faces. All of this means so much to a shopper, I will definitely be back!!

Plenty of ice here! I was so happy. Lots of markdowns in the produce department. You can tell this store hasn't been remodeled recently just by looking at the floor. Come on corporate office, spiff this place up!
