As a long time customer. I often run to Ace when I need hardware. But yesterday (12/9/23) I had AMAZING service. We are setting a modular and needed to seal the foundation (ICF). Struck out at two other business and was preparing to rearrange my day. I doubted they would have anything like I was needing because they are not a lumber yard but I thought I would give it a shot before I drove 2 hours.When I stepped in, the manager listened to my explanation of what I needed and then called an associate that had more construction experience. The employee took me to where that type of product is kept and then read labels with me until we found what I needed! He then carried the two 5 gallon buckets to the register while I finished shopping then carried them to the car for me. what amazing service! Thank you Ace for truly being the place with the “helpful hardware folks!” Turns out that is not just your slogan!

Never been to a hardware store that will not sell you what they have in the store. They do have wire screen but only will sell it if you let them install it In a frame for you.

I would have spent quite a bit of time finding the perfect watering system but an employee quickly asked if I needed help and directed me to what I needed. And then I was confused by the number of paint products available and another employee made that a simple decision. The quick and knowledgeable staff made my day. Thanks for a pleasant shopping experience. 5* stars!

We bought 8 cans of paint today and Brianna was so patient and kind. She doubled checked all the paint and fixed one that didn't come out correctly. She never made us feel rushed and answered any questions we had.

I've been here a handful of times when I needed random odds and ends, or a certain hand tool. Staff has always been available and friendly as soon as I walk in the door. Exactly the kind of excellent customer service you would expect from an Ace hardware!

Alamosa Ace is a great store!!! I have never shopped there when I haven’t been asked multiple times if I need help. If they don’t have something I need they have ordered it for me. The people are nice and the store is well stocked. It’s my go to store. I no longer shop at WalMart.

I needed 1 1/2" ABS black pipe fittings.At Big R they said they ares phasing out all the plumbing except the PVC. I asked where to locate the fittings and was shown where they were. While I was deciding what parts I would use several salespeople offered help. Very good service, price and amount of supplies offered.

Large store with lots of stuff. Prices were higher than I was expecting, and they didn't have the type of doorknobs I was hoping to get but I found a decent alternative. They had a lot of trouble figuring out how to use my e gift card but eventually figured it out

Ridiculously tight with 2% coupon. Buying over $2000 of paint that just jumped $10. Asked for a couple $5 coupons. Service Mgr went to front desk to tell me I already got one. Meanwhile 1 gallon paint is 25% off. Come on man, paint has ridiculous profit margins. And I bought 45 gallons.

Bought stuff here for years it has really gone down hill 30 day return policy. The kid who was the manager took forever to come talk to me. He was a bit rude and standoffish I told him I was done shopping there and he said thats fine. I was fixing something for my mom she said I'll call and he was rude to her too. Don't waste your money. I hope the owners think it's fine to treat customers poorly

I don't like giving negative reviews, but I never seem to walk away with what I needed from this store. I had an overly attentive gentleman stand over me while I tried to select a product and provided no assistance. I walked out with the wrong thing. Now I am out $70. Try Big R, Alamosa Building Supply, or Tractor Supply first. I have told myself I will stop shopping here many times, this was the final straw.

Enjoy shopping here for many items that can't be purchased elsewhere. Customer service is great. We are always treated upon arrival and thank youd on the way out. If you don't see something on the shelves it is very possible they can order it for you.

The WORST. The “manager” Zack wouldn’t return something that I bought at Ace with a receipt. This place is a joke- no knowledge of anything and they have workers chatting while there is three people waiting to get checked out. Don’t shop here- no wonder people shop at Lowes and Home Depot!

Very nice customer service person today who helped me find something to fix my RV toilet. Other times I've been in there, they were less helpful. They seem to be having some trouble getting some supplies in.

It was a typical Ace hardware. The setup was fairly easy to get around and they had a lot of stuff in there. The people were friendly and somewhat helpful. Unfortunately I had to return one item that I bought because it didn't fit, and it was an easy return with no questions askef basically. I've actually been here twice in the few days that I've been in Alamosa. If I need something else I'll go back.
