Absolutely stunning place to stop for a few nights or even an extended stay. Hubby and I stopped here on our way up to Boulder. Full hook-ups, everything works. Cute little diner on site that we will definitely be checking out before we leave. We have a 47ft Toyhauler and have plenty of space for the rig, truck and golf cart.

Debbie, the owner, had me store my tow behind next to her husband's shop. After my mom died and things were trying to settle down from estate issues I went to visit my once beautiful and barely used recreational vehicle. What I discovered was parts had been taken from the unit. Mice feces and mouth carcasses covered every surface area inside of the trailer. My bed had been slept in and the pillows were stained with sweat and or urine. My husband found the trailer door shut but not locked. And! Weeds were as tall as the unit. Adding insult to injury, we had just paid our storage for the year. Yes! We paid them yearly for storing our trailer as they allowed people to pick and pull parts from it, live in it and god only knows what else. After our discovery we went and got one of the owners, her husband allowed her to face the music alone. She stood before me and my husband sobbing! Sobbing! She apologized and said she and her husband would make it right! MAKE IT RIGHT! How could this couple make it right! Especially after they took my hard earned money yearly with knowledge that my trailer had been vandalized and was being used without my authorization! They didn't care! They thought because I wasn't coming down to see the trailer I didn't care! MY YEARLY PAYMENT CLEARLY SHOWED I CARED! My payment was insurance that while my unit was in their care, control and custody they were responsible for it! And! After reading the review written by Scott Worley two years ago. He wrote, "Deb and her family think they are better than everyone. Her kid and the maintenance guy are rude and drunk or on drugs. I would stay away from this spot."As crazy and cocopig as Scott's review reads it made the most sense of what happened to my trailer. This RV park has dark secrets. I would not feel safe docking for any length of time and or eating at the establishment.I'm still working to get my trailer restored. I've encountered horrible services such as from Pro Tech RV, State Farms Insurance and Lockey Services. My fight is ongoing with State Farms to fix the trailer. Whoever was living in it must have been transported with the trailer as it was broken into at its new location. State Farms did have the locks changed. The owner at the new RV storage place felt bad and has been working with me to ensure the unit remains secured. So, again, keep driving and don't stop until you find an area where crime isn't high and the RV park is safer.

Nice rv park, however the water runs out every other week or so around 7 to 9 which means it can’t be fixed til the next morning. Not sure if it’s a winter thing or not but the owner is very kind 👍🏻

I would definitely recommend this place! We had RV issues and thank goodness it happened where it did. Mark (the owner) helped us out with the RV. He was so attentive to our needs. We want to thank him so much for getting us back on the road! Also, I want to add, there is a great little cafe there and this is such a nice place to stay. Thanks again 🤗

No frills, gravel lots, pretty level. Nothing for miles except their cafe. Slight highway noise but good food. Good place to stop on your way up and down Colorado!

Sites are very tight, dogs barking quite a bit. Right off I-25. Owners were polite, cafe had good green chili.

The park is a no frills park, but the people and the view are the best. We stayed a month and really enjoyed our visit. Hopefully the fancy parks in Denver can show as much hospitality and sense of welcome as we received here. Would definitely stay here again.

Rough, not someplace I'd want to stay long term, but a great spot for an overnight stop. I've stay 3 times and yet to find a level pull through, but it's close enough for a one night stay. Electric voltage is good. Nice BBQ restaurant on site.

This park is perfectly situated on interstate 25 north of Trinidad. The owners, staff, and other campers make this place feel like You are home. The cafe has great food. Please remember to pick up after your pets here.

Dogs kept us up all night. The spots are tight and the traffic from I-25 was the only other thing we could hear. We heard the food was good but I honestly didn't feel well after eating the green chilli pork.Definitely not what we were looking for in our Colorado experience.

We called and reserved a spot for a week. Lady told us there were many open spots to pick one and park in it when we arrived. After driving 12 hours with kids and dogs, we arrived at the park and there were NO SPOTS OPEN. It appears as though almost every spot is taken by a long term resident. Not sure why the woman lied to us. She left us high and dry, trying to find another spot late at night. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND!

We were able to find a level spot even though the pads are dirt. Electrical hookups and water available. Cafe on sight open until 7.No showers or laundry. Very very windy in this area.Manager was very nice. Great location off of I25.

There is a great little restaurant next to the RV park called Exit 30 Cafe! If you like homecooked BBQ and fresh sides this is the place! I stopped and had an amazing salad with freshly smoked Brisket! Yikes it was over the top Delicious! The breakfast menu also looked great! Easy exit off hwy 25, located between Trinidad and Walsenburg...close to the Aguliar exit! Great customer service too! Friendly folks!

Once again, a pleasant unexpected desert stop at Green Earth Automotive Recycling and Storage RV Park. The name is very long. However, it is a secret place for RV travelers.Yes, it is a small park in Southern Colorado. It is extremely easy off and easy on from highway 25, Exit 30. It has a brilliant white cement fence with a wide opened entrance, just waiting for RVs to come in.We zoomed in on Google and RV Parky and it didn't show any structures; just a desert area that seemed to be spaces for RVs. The owners also runs the Automotive, RV Repair shop. I spoke to the wife and she was very pleasant and accommodating. My wife and I were pleasantly surprise by the Restaurant BBQ & Cafe with an excellent menu. The food was finger licking good. We had the special for Friday: 2 Jalapeño Poppers - home made, Ribs on the bone, bake beans with plenty of bacon and a drink. I have a photo of the menu for your perusal. Gaby, the service manager was very attentive. Not only in checking us in, but in serving the delicious delectable on the menu.I hope the photos help you.We happened to take the last space in the middle strip of spots. It was perfect. Since, We are 35 ft long plus the tow dolly and car, a total of 55 feet. The rig-house fit perfectly. I checked water pressure and didn't need to use my pressure gauge. Electricity hookup for every need; as well as water and sewage hookups. The center and outer spots are a bit closer to each other. However, it is quite manageable. About an hour of arrival, two very large 5th wheels pulled in and the drivers were able to squeeze in to their spot.I did not see any laundry rooms, showers, or bathroom. We didn't need them. Since, we have those in the coach, except for laundry. We wash our clothes at the laundromat. I didn't ask about Wifi. We use our Verizon hotspot which is more than sufficient for all of our streaming and computer needs. We had 4 strong bars. Finally, it sits on a small plateau with a 360 view of mountains, the plain below and the highway you came in on with the many travelers to and fro.We wish we could stay longer. We will definitely be back! You must try the chocolate/coffee cake, DELICIOSO!TORTUGA GRANDE REPORTINGBLESS BEYOND EXPECTATIONS

It's a beautiful quiet place with an excellent atmosphere, very nice people and child friendly. On site cafe and auto repair have both courteous staff. I recommend staying here. Have had no problems with water, sewage, or electricity. The view is stunning with mountains and moving trains. Thanks for all your kindness. God Bless You!

I was able to reserve a tent site, but there are not really tent sites here. The toilet facilities were not immediately noticeable when I arrived after dark. I used the parking lot to look for nearby hotel rooms. It may be a great place for RVs, but folks hoping to pitch a tent should be prepared to stay in an asphalt lot.

Rv park review. They do not have any idea on who is in there or where they are. Told to go to a site and it was taken. Had to come back in and notify them that it was occupied. They had to literally come out on the grounds and look at the sites to confirm. Rv spots were very narrow and our front door was facing even with our neighbors door. The sewer connection was a foot off the ground which made it difficult to drain. Not very clean and maintained. Only positive was the view.

This is really more of an RV residence with a few spots for RV travelers. Nothing fancy but the management, residents and restaurant were great. No laundry or showers but we'd definitely stay here again. Close to Highway of Legends.

Wish I could rate it lower. Called ahead to make a reservation after driving all day, saying we would arrive in 45 min. The woman who answered reserved us a spot and was friendly, but when we got to the park, the office was closed and there was no spot open. We were left exhausted and scrambling for a place to stay just before dark. The place looked sketchy anyway so maybe it was best we didn't stay there after all. Ended up boondocking in a Walmart parking lot and it feels just as safe as Gears RV Park.

Mark in automotive is a life saver! Every time I need work done he's helped me to the fullest and for a very reasonable price. I've been around this area all my life almost, don't waste time call Mark for all and I mean all your automotive needs!

Ok, where do I start. Called ahead and reserved a site, we arrived at 4pm was to to pick an open site and tell them which one I setup in. I have 45’ fifth wheel with 3 slides. Almost 4 hours later some lady came pounding on our door telling us we parked too far over and we need to move over 3 feet of make room for another Rv to park, I guess they would squeeze 2 rigs in a space large enough for 1. After telling her that it wouldn’t make a difference the site is too small and I sure hope nobody would attempt to fit in there in the middle of the night, I still closed my Rv all up and moved over to where the sharp rocks could almost destroy my tires. So basically I didn’t get much sleep thinking someone would try to park in this tiny space. Lots of full time broken down rigs, pretty sketchy place.. and we won’t ever stay here again. Very limited selections for a place camp around here. Good luck
