I've 1mostly had unmemorable visits to this store until tonight. I had a sick grand baby at hime ans she was in pain. I couldn't fund the padilax that my wife sent me for. It wasnt with the chileans medications like everything else was. So I went ti the front ti ask a clerk for help (apparently theres only one at nigh). He seemed busy so I politely asked aboutthe prodict hopingfor a liittle more rhwin an idle number however thats all I got exceptfrom a little additude doethe intinteintinteruption. I finally found the product and went tithedront where the same clerk met me to ring me up he handed me my change but failed togive me the reciept. I realized that half wau out of the atore and when I turned and looked back he was already gone fron the fegister so I continued out of the store. Well o fcourse not knowing exactly what I was getting and all I had was picture text got ths wrong thing. So i called the store after explaining thsituation to thepersothat I finally goy on the phonphone heaskes if I did adigital reviepr . "No" I said then he asked if put in a phone number again the answer was "no" stating that I normaly dont shop there and I paid cash and was in a hurry. He then informed me that without a recite couldn't do return. So I asked hI'm if he was the one who heled me he said yes so I asked if perhaps he could possibly chech in the trash hoping for a little but of humanity but of course once again there was none. He told me that he had already taken out the trash for the night. So no he could not help me at all without the reciept. Befor I got off of the phone askedwhattimethey closcloseclosclosed he toldme 10. Atthat point (stillbefor 8pm) Idecided to get off of the phophonphophonebefor I lost my temper and infor.ed the man just what i thought about hisicomplete lack of intrest in helping a customer along with the fact that he most likely was lying about the trash and just didnt want ti be bothered. That was the impressionthat I got fromevery I couter with this single employss who i must assume was tonly one there. The complete lack intrest aneffort e en the tretingofthecustomer as an intrusion like he was bei g bother by doing his job was almost shocking to me. I just aboabouaboabout went back to tstore 12 .jiles away and juminto to e trashbin to look for mreciepjust prove my point but with a sick baby at ho.e didnt want my wife to be bothered with bailing me out also. People are so disconnected that they forget why it is that we treat people with respect and interact as human being. Hours do not match phone system, website, or any other online info source. Staff seems to make up a new lunch break time whenever they feel like it, making it impossible to know when you can actually get your scripts. They are constantly out of stock of basic medications that I use every month. I have asked them to please stock them over and over to no avail. I wish I had another choice for a pharmacy here. This place is incredibly disappointing!

I used to love this place, but recently I’ve felt like I’m jumping through hoops to be heard. I had to have my doctors office call and and they didn’t help either.I was told to come in to pick up my script on 6/17/21. This is after getting the run around about how my insurance is unwilling to pay more for my prescription. The person I spoke to said to go bank to my doc to have it switched. After reaching out to them, my doctors office explained Walgreens was of no help when they contacted to them. I brush it off, and take the script into them and a tech told me it would be ready hours later due to her being busy. Ok, great I understand and decided to wait. In between that time my insurance was denied. So I decided to pay out of pocket. The woman said to come by in 45 minutes, so I did. Turns out I can’t pick up my script until tomorrow and there’s nothing they’ll do. I tried to speak to the pharmacist but he wouldn’t even come up to the window to treat me like a human being. Apparently he just couldn’t t be bothered.I’m already dealing with so much, i have an illness that may be back and I’m terrified. Dealing with Walgreens brought me to my breaking point and I’m switching to a different pharmacy.o

Just left surgery and trying to get meds here for the first time. Horrible experience. Still don’t have them almost 4 hour after. Talked to the pharmacist and he was zero help trying to expedite. Thanks guys!

If you have literally any other pharmacy option, take it. I’m now off my meds for a second time because of this pharmacy. First time, they mixed up and filled the wrong medicine. I was severely ill for three days while they fixed the mistake and not once did they seem apologetic or caring. Just rude and angry to have to fix something they did wrong. Now, I let it go thinking it’s a fluke. This time, they said my medicine wasn’t ready when it was and the next day when my husband tried to pick it up, the pharmacist just decided not to show up and Walgreens wouldn’t give anyone their medication. This is the second time I’ve gone days severely ill (and therefore missing out on work) due to Walgreens pharmacy’s mistakes. They’re about to have a lawsuit on their hands if they keep mixing up meds and not getting meds to people when they need them. I will also be filing an official report with the company but thought I should share my experience in case it helps someone else. If you are going to use this pharmacy, be cautious, observant, and diligent. They WILL make dangerous mistakes.

I have used this pharmacy to fill my prescriptions whenever I am in the area and my other friends do the same too. And we are here very often since this is our getaway home from the city. Raymond the pharmacist manager, who works there is very knowledgeable with his medications and explains to us about our medications very well, sometimes he explains better than my doctors did. Once, he caught our doctor's mistake with my prescription that could lead to a harmful interaction and I brought it up to my doctor for correction and he said go say thank you to that pharmacist he just saved your life. Raymond is also great with vaccines, he gave me my Covid shots, flu shot and shingles shots. He is very gentle, polite and patient with us not like other pharmacists just japping patients with big needles angrily. Those are painless shots I had. I came back to say thank you to Raymond for catching the mistake on my prescription but he was not at his pharmacy. I let his staff know that I appreciate Raymond very much for all of his works. Go find Raymond if you want your medications taken care of!

Last two times I went there I had bad experiences. Went in with my wife to buy a COVID home test and got unsolicited advice from older man employee behind counter with his mask below his nose “Your mask doesn’t work” and “COVID is no worse than the flu” . I made an appointment for COVID test and waited 50 minutes in line while people had prescriptions filled. When I got to drive up window I saw sign stating “ no testing today” . Would have been nice to get text canceling appointment or some indication they were not doing tests that day before waiting 50 minutes. 0 stars

It can be difficult to have an enjoyable experience when trying to fill a prescription while in extreme pain. But I just did. Rick the pharmacist was incredibly attentive and jovial with the customers during a very busy time, and even helped me save a considerable sum on my prescriptions. I would definitely use this pharmacy again.

I went without antibiotics or pain pills for an entire weekend because they couldn't seem to locatethe message he surgery nurse had left until Monday morning when she called them. When she mentioned that I had been in pain all weekend, the clerk laughed at her over the phone! Meanwhile, an infection developed over the weekend. Another time they lost a written prescription I brought in and found it 3 days later on a counter. This is a very disorganized pharmacy. Communication is terrible. I would not recommend it, particularly because medications are involved and someone could get hurt.

my first attempt to use this place. my prescriptions came in here 4 days ago and they still cant find time to fill them. i feel bad for these exposed employees. they have covid testing inside with an enormous line of most likely sick people inside the store. i'll go without meds before i risk getting infected in there, very sketchy. this would have been called a super spreader last year. the health dept should be checking this out, it can't be safe.

They nicest people I have ever met in a pharmacy. Mai is such a great person and remembers my info about what’s due and when and how many refills I have. I get my meds thru out the month never the same time or date as the month before but she always remembers. I love buying candies for them to enjoy while they work. They know I will never ask or expect special exceptions so they take the gift knowing that. Normally they don’t take gifts. Some terrible people except something in return. So if ur entitled or have a big head don’t mess with my pharmacy. They are to bag oof for those types. If ur old they take time to explain and not rush u when they do.

I've always gotten my scripts here and they are very timely with how they handle the customers. Informative as well which is nice, I wouldn't go a yehere else. They have a good selection of vitamins and other health products as well

Always there when i need them, with care and consideration. Wonderful staff, always helpful and never rude as some herein posted. I especially like the people that work there. It is unfortunate, but the personalities generally begin the feud by being rude first. As to the person with the infection, i would have required a written prescription be handed to me befor i left the Dr.'s Office. Doctors are usually the one's that drop the ball. I really don't think the pharmacist would have been laughing at them or you over the phone, because they are also taking care of other's at the same time. Perhaps someone in the store did something to make that person laugh. I would cut them a break because they are the busiest store in Yucca Valley. Best Service Ever!Yesterday, my husband and I drove around Yucca Valley tirelessly, looking for a space heater. Our propane tank was dry and we could not get a service tech on the weekend. We were facing a very cold night in our home in freezing temperatures. All of the major stores were out of them, including Wal Mart and Home Depot. As a last resort, we called Walgreens and a lovely staff member named Bonnie informed us that they had a few left. She even agreed to put one aside for us as we made our way to their location. Upon our arrival, there she was with a really nice space heater waiting for us at check out. While they just had a few, she held the best one for us and greeted us with a smile!She was just a delight and her customer service skills ranked supreme.Thanks again, Bonnie!!S. Drury

I walked in with my friend to look at perfume. We sprayed a little of each bottle once just so we could smell it. Then from across the store, in front of other customers, a staff member yelled at us and said “GIIIIIRLS you don’t do that. Don’t spray them!”Not even nicely and she didn’t even come up to us. We were embarrassed.Then as we were done with the bottles.She said “You are only allowed to open the bottle.” We ended up not buying anything. But get this; the previous night we were running in fast to get something and my friend was barefoot. The lady said “Ugh that’s disgusting. I don’t see how you can walk around barefoot like that..”RUDE.I love Walgreens but get rid of a short lady with round glasses and short light hair who works as a cashier. I won’t be going back until she’s gone!!!

My best friend and I walked into Walgreens, I was bear footed because I had a bad blister on my foot. I walked in, got two things of make-up and as I was waiting for to be checked out. When a lady with short light hair, glasses, round and short, early fifty’s that worked there said “ugh that’s disgusting! I don’t see how you can walk around barefooted like that?!” I wanted to say anything because of my blister. I felt hurt and insulted as a customer. I won’t be going back for a while to that Walgreens.

They take a long time to answer the phone, thedistributor takes a long time to get meds that other pharmacies have no problem getting. They dont go out of their way to get meds ordered by the doctor to be by a specific manufacturer. Try New Pharmacy, they are voted number one in Yucca Valley for a reason. Yhe will ho out of their way to help.

Got the robo-call that my prescription would be ready the next day at 10:15. I showed up at 10:30, scrip not on file! Told it would be ready in 15 minutes. Came back 30 minutes later, no prescription! Another "15 minute" wait. A 16 mile round trip for nothing so I left - see ya tomorrow. Got another call later that day, "Your prescription is ready for pickup." HoKAY. I'll try again today. Another 16 mile round trip.

Take your prescriptions somewhere - ANYWHERE - else. They have 'held' every new prescription my doctor has sent to them, second guessing her orders. When I called to see why my latest prescription had not been filled a full day after it was sent, all they could say was "I don't know..."

First - the interminably long telephone wait time is real. In the time that I called, waded through the lengthy automated menu and then waited for a human, the doctors office completed all my paperwork, saw patients in and out, and finally got the fax number we needed, before a person came on.Second - the doctors office faxed my prescription at 3:30 PM, so I expected it would be ready when I got to Walgreesn at 5:30 PM. No such luck. When I got there the female at the Drive Thru informed me it would be 'another 20 minutes.' When I protested 'how can that be?' She blamed it on the doctor's office not putting my DOB on the prescription ! I got angry, because the faxed prescription HAD THE DOCTOR'S PHONE NUMBER ON IT -- why didn't Walgreens CALL THEM AND GET IT FROM THEM ? Are they LAZY ? STUPID? Meanwhile I told her that I have bee SICK and I was COUNTING ON THAT MEDICINE BEING READY by the time I got to the pharmacy!I have had it with this high desert full of incompetent people that can't bestir themselves to get a job done. I will NEVER shop at Walgreens For anything again.

Don't bother trying to call the pharmacy, their automated system says it will put you through to a live system but in fact will cycle your through an endless loop of different elevator music then ringing etc... I need the last 26 minutes of my life back.
