I hadn't been in this location for a couple of years until this morning. So, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they have opened a bakery/deli department. It smelled incredible. The French bread was warm and freshly baked. I stopped in for heavy whipping cream, which there was none of so I had to go by another store. The cashier was not the most pleasant person. The conveyer belt at the register was ABSOLUTELY FILTHY. I didn't want to place my bread on it.

Shopping at this particular branch. I had a bad experienced with a unsuitable employee for any place. March 4th.assuming I don’t speak the native language they tried to make me feel second class costumer. Too bad for Vons family. Having individuals with a total lock of courtesy. To said the least. Anyway I am a member for several years

I love coming here anytime I am in town. I love any Vons, but this one is particularly clean and charming. Great team doing merchandising and visuals, I love that about this area.They have a lot of great Xmas and fall decorations, too bad I was too broke to indulge, maybe next time.Love this shopping plaza it is in also, it's huge, and it has everything, from post office to Pizza, omg, the smells are killing me 👀😜😜😜❤🙏

The store closed 45 minutes earlier than expected when I arrived, and they only allowed certain individuals inside if they claimed to have a family member shopping there. Unfortunately, I was denied entry despite only needing to buy milk for my children. I understand that it's Christmas and they want to leave on time or even early, but they still have a responsibility to fulfill their job. I even approached one of the ladies who was allowed in and asked her to purchase the milk for my kids, offering to pay her extra. However, the rude lady at the door refused to let the customer help me. The lady at the door, who turned away some people, displayed a rather unpleasant attitude, reminiscent of Scrooge. I'm uncertain if I want to return to this store if this is the kind of treatment they provide during the holiday season. As a result, I went to Walgreens after being turned away, and the staff there welcomed all the people who were rejected by Vons with smiles. They didn't complain or try to prevent anyone from entering.

Medium size supermarket with “everything”. Exist even for express lane was 5+ deep.Easy plentiful parking but difficult busy main road exit.

Someone just asked if Vons accepts SNAP EBT, but the google wouldn't let me publish.I just now called to confirm, and yes, Vons accepts SNAP EBT.Vons also has an impressive vegan section. Just in case anybody wants to know.

They're amazing! Anytime I get cakes from them, they always go above and beyond. This is the cake I picked up today for my daughters birthday. She passed and today is her first birthday. They made it so special and so beautiful. It's perfect.

Everytime no matter if it's the morning or even 8pm at night the service in the deli area is horrible 3 times now it can be 3 people not one will even acknowledge you no one waiting still takes 20mins to get help then when they do help you they have no idea what to do I hope things can get better soon

Vons gets 4 stars cause they have the best handicap access and the folks at vons don't make you uncomfortable! Just vibing with the towns energy! Weird I know!

Absolutely LOVE THIS grocery store! 💛💛💛They pretty much carry everything that I love (except for "Good Culture" brand cottage cheese).Fantastic and fresh selection of foods to purchase, enough cashiers when the store gets really busy.I even worked in the Deli department for a little over a year and loved everyone that I met in a different, special way 💛 💛A very zen place to shop ☯️🌏🌍🌎☯️

Vons in Yucca Valley is a very nice very clean very friendly store where there are plenty of people available to help users you not find something and overall just a nice experience ,and the air conditioner works fantastic

Vons is more expensive than the other markets in our area **unless** you shop sales, then they WIN hands down. Due to this it's my preferred store!Clean, well stocked, helpful staff, great bakery, and deli; but I don't care for their store brands so much.

Nice store with good variety. Prices are high especially if you don't use your Vons card. I'm always baffled when people don't use one as you save a ton of money. It's free to get one and easy to use.

we stopped here to get a birthday surprise for my father in law's wife and Von's had everything we needed and very friendly and generous people with talent to assist us. we bought a cake that they customized the birthday greetings. we bought roses and had a great selection of card from both of his kids... we joked about their idea of cold, as we had just left a week of minus 20 degree weather from mid central Minnesota to get to Yucca Valley, California...warm!

The deli meat went bad SO fast! Clearly they don't keep track of their meat date or they don't care. This store is a health hazard. We will not be back at your deli. Do better Vons!

Had some car trouble in the parking lot after I purchased beers and snacks. Matt the manager, came out to look at my truck ON HIS LUNCH BREAK. And even called a friend to come look at it. People like him and his friend make traveling worth while. matt is the best. This vons is lucky to have him. Thanks again man, I owe you one

I love shopping here, I come here 2 to 3 times a week. They hired a new very young female employee. At first everything went smooth at the checkout but after I asked a question about a price things went sour pretty quickly. She was not knowledgeable on how to check the price on my meat I purchased, just wanted me out of her line, rolled her eyes at me, very immature and she had no customer skills. Talked to a manager afterward, I don't usually have problems there but this time did.

Overall good store but the girl behind the deli meat counter (Sadie) needs to be more friendly. I went in today to do an Instacart order. I went to the deli counter to ask if they make a turkey pesto sandwich that the customer wanted. Now there was another customer ahead of me being serviced and Sadie was smiling and helping the lady before me just fine. Soon as it was my turn to be serviced Sadie looked at me and walked to the back. I waited for about 5 mins before another deli worker came to help me. This lady was kind. I told her that I was doing an Instacart order and the customer requested a turkey pesto sandwich and I asked if they have that. The lady that was helping me said no but they do have everything to make one and she could try to make one for me. Soon as she was about to make the sandwich Sadie looked at me and loudly whispered to the other lady that they can’t do that. And that’s she is not allowed to make the sandwich for me even though they have everything to make it. Off the bat Sadie was rude I’m not sure if she was having a bad day or not but I think it’s rude to be rude to people you don’t know. You never know how someone’s day is going.

Vons has a variety of fish. I was so happy. I dont eat talapia nor salmon. And they have a choosing from unlike the other markets. And it was fresh. I cooked the trout that evening and it was delish. Customer service is PRIME

I don't always shop here. When I do, the staff here is always warm and professional, and they are competent :) the aisles are impeccably clean and the prices are quite reasonable.They don't have the little Kool-aid packets here, so now you know!

Great local grocery store in Yucca Valley. Prices are reasonable with fresh produce and friendly customer service. Only issue we had was the employees at the deli counter need some some help in the communication department.

This phone is small and old. Many Vons around the area in California. Are much bigger nicer and better than this place. For that this should be a two star Vons when you compare it to other Vons. However it’s in an area where there’s not as much competition and businesses. For that it should deserve an extra star. Because at least it adds another option to go shopping in the area since they only have a few options to begin with.

Wow been going here for 20 years the girl at the deli told me I couldn't make any substitution on my breakfast burrito cheese/meat etc said she would be writing up or fired if she did fine don't want that to happen so I left and went else were

Generally love coming here. Plenty of registers open always to minimize the wait, and the prepared foods section is pretty good as well. The store is quite clean and they usually have my organic produce in stock as well, though I only come here for last-minute items and save the bulk of my grocery shopping for the valley since I can't find most of the organic foods I like up here.

My latest visit was my longest stay in a grocery store, spent more time in line to let them take my money than I did picking things off the shelves. I might shop at the competition next time.
