Some of us would never eat the food offered at most gas stations or grocery stores. Sue’s Health Foods is a must-stop-shop while in Yucca Valley or Joshua Tree. I loved stocking up on healthy, delicious snacks and local honey before heading into Pioneertown or Joshua Tree National Park. They have a lovely assortment of cold beverages to keep in your cooler. They have an indispensable area in the back of the store with bulk ingredients. For instance, they had dried Irish Sea Moss that I love to make a nourishing skin mask with. The vast selection of essential oils and organic skin care products here is a godsend and displayed so beautifully. Everyone working here is very helpful and knowledgeable. Much respect to Sue’s on providing access to healthy food options and creating a well curated store for the local community and anyone traveling out to the High Desert. Note: Sue’s Health Foods is closed on Sunday and Monday.

Sue’s is small but nice. I go there especially for the wheat bread which is better than gricery bread.

I was visiting from out of town for a month and stumbled across this store. It's under the radar but is very nice and has friendly staff. It's the only place in Joshua Tree/Yucca Valley that I could find mung beans, red lentils, miso paste, minced ginger for the type of food that I like to cook. Also has bulk herbs and such. Thanks!

Like most health stores, I feel, there's not a whole lot, they have a good VARIETY. Items for those STARTING their Healthy journey and items for those well-seasoned Healthy hikers that are not in Joshua Tree. I like being able to go to both stores. I found items important and necessary to my health routine at Sue's. I'm glad my daughter found them!

I came in to do research on a breakfast drink I wanted to compile. I was assisted by a mature lady that stood all of 5' tall, short silver hair and weighed all of 90 pounds. I forget her name. So very informative, patient and helpful. She took the time to take me to all of the ingredients on my list and stood patiently while I made notes. I love that store. By the way they are so much less expensive than Bob's Red Mill or Swanson's. Not to mention they are local. I can see why they have been around for 35 years.

Great store carry a lot things that you couldn't find locally. The best thing is they always have the purest form of vitamins. Staff is very informative. Prices are on the higher than a major retailor but worth the price for the quality and to help support local business. I used to work for rite aid and I always referred people to them for vitamins and health

Found out I had cancer in March, on my birthday, Sue's was a regular stop before that...when I stopped by to ask questions about natural remedies everyone there took time to share their knowledge...very helpful spent more than I had planned, but gained HOPE, and knowledge. Thanks you guys.

I stopped here while spending a day in the high desert. It s a quaint little store, stocked with health foods and local products that could be hard to find anywhere else. I stocked up on some goodies while there since it's a bit of a drive. The store is clean, and the staff are friendly.

Very great friendly service and awesome advice. Like the nice selection of products they have, and the prices are a little on the higher side but you get what you pay for! This is a health store, and everything in here is great for you.

Appalled to find out this place does not accept EBT. I guess despite being a grocery store that has EBT applicable items, they are classist and only want rich LA hippie influencers shopping here and not dirty poor people. The lady on the phone sounded disgusted when i asked her. Don’t ask why people would rather go to Whole Foods!

I like the fact that they have fresh nuts and fruits there dairy is always fresh and they also have very good workers there always very attentive and helpful and a lot of vitamins
