Rave! Emily is a wonderful store manager, she explained the process of buying a bed and frame, even helped me get a discount by signing up for big lots online. When it came time she helped me load the bed and boxes into the truck and had a good attitude the entire time. She never got frustrated and kept her poise. A good example of a great manager.

I used to be the Oprrations Mgr at this Big lots. I must say the new floor plan is very accommodating for shoppers..furniture layout in the middle of the store seems to be working really well.

Checking out takes longer than most places as there is such little counter space to set items on to be scanned. I appreciate that they don't charge for bags but their bags are poor in quality requiring almost each full bag to be double bagged. Prices lately aren't much of any type of bargain. They used to be.

Didn't buy anything. People greeted me and said thanks for coming in. Neat and clean. Just not for me. Signed up for emails but everything I'm interested in buying is not in stock. I call to the Palm Springs store a hour away from me and they have the stuff in stock. I'm old and do not want to drive a 2 hour round trip to Palm Springs.. it's like they are going out of business. No groceries here at all as advertised. Why send items on emails if this store never have the items in the store. I'm not wasting another trip to purchase anything I see on a email. I am disappointed with big lots. They could do so much more business if the had the inventory.

The store is in good order, and clean. The associated were polite and friendly. Mallory was exceptional. I would like for her to be at every big lots that I go to. Specifically the one in Upland CA that is "my" store. I love picking up road snacks at Big Lots. If I had a Mallory at my store I may go there more often. She even signed me up for a loyalty program. I have been refusing to do so for ever!! -JoeRhino

The selection is not the biggest but it's not the biggest Big lots of ever been the carts are filthy and disgusting but the store is not bad shape all the employees I've ever had to deal with were nice and helpful I'll continue to shop there no problem

amazing customer service!! Isabel and Lilly helped us load a giant sectional couch into a truck and we’re super helpful, patient, and overall badass!! if you need anything go to them and they got you!

What a service I received from the store manager. The cashier need it an approval on a return item so she called the manager and he didn't show up or anything was done. The line was getting longer and longer and no manager showed up for the approval. As I waited I asked why it was taking so long she said " he is training a new assistant manager " Whatever the deal was he wasn't to be happy with my return and he smelled like old cigarettes .

I had a great time at Big Lots picked out a few little things that I've been looking for and a lady helped me find something I couldn't read the labels to see she was very helpful and gave me a lovely senior discount you're so kind and smile in there all the time and are ready to help people! Big Lots has changed a lot from the days when it was Pick n Save. Very clean well-kept and sometimes you may have to whistle to get attention for some help but very rarely they're usually somebody on the floor willing to help you

I always like Big Lots and the one in Yucca Valley is no exception. Luckily I had a 20% discount coupon which is always fantastic. The bargain rack has some very interesting snacks and more. Good prices in general but, like everything else, you have to be careful and compare. If you can't tell by now, I'm a big fan and the Yucca Valley Big Lots did not disappoint.

I really don't understand why this chain is even in business. An incomplete, random selection of retail merchandise that you can get anywhere else at the same price. There's really just no reason to shop here.

Great place to shop. Went in looking for one thing and came out with a storage ottoman. Dana was a great help and really nice. I went back a few days later because I didn't get the feet. Dummy me, they were inside the storage. Thanks Dana for your help!

Overall a well maintained clean store with a helpful staff. A wide variety of food and household goods that are fairly priced; in fact brand new items can be bought cheaper than some second hand stores. I particularly enjoy the outdoor lawn & garden part of this store because it has a selection of items that I often do not see & at good cost (particularly solar lights & lawn decorations).

Friendly staff and decent prices. You will have to look at the dates of all food purchases to ensure that nothing is expired. Other than that, the store has a decent selection of merchandise

Not all staff were friendly. Came here the other day to look for mattresses. Upon entering the front door, NO ONE greeted us. We continued to browse and I ended up having to walk up to the ladies at the registers to ask for assistance. Lady#1 finally came to help then radioed for Lady#2 from the back to come up and Lady#1 went to check on stock in the back. We didn’t end up purchasing anything at the time but as we were leaving, Lady#1 passed us and didn’t even say have a nice day or anything of the sort.

I went with my neighbor she wanted to go there but I ended up buying all sorts of stuff myself today they had 20% off. Besides at the end when they only had one checker, they brought in a second and off we went. Two thumbs up for shopping today

With the closing of Food 4 Less I was forced into looking for other ways to shop. So I recently shopped here at Big Lots. Well, I can see why no one mentions this place. It's a depressing store with not many bargains in it. Many items are not clearly priced. The parking lot is scary. The entryway is old and dirty. You'd think there would be deals in a place so old and dirty, but the 99 Cent Store blows this place out of the water. Frankly, with Food 4 Less not being able to make it here, it blows my mind that Big Lots can still hold on.And their furniture prices are insane. $399 for a K Mart quality dresser. We had to laugh at that. It looked nice, but I doubt that dresser weighed more than 15 pounds.The staff is very friendly and helpful.

They have Ashley furniture here for a third of the cost that they actually sell it for the Ashley store. Can't beat that they also have a lot of amazing snacks like brownie brittle. Definitely shop here, highly recommended five stars.

Good deals and prices. Layout of inventory has to improve. Their best deals are in furniture section. But for the rest of customers interests--WALMART is and should be your first stop! Only 5 mins away from BigLots.
