This was my first time there. They did a wonderful job on my Maltese -mixed breed dog. The prices were competitive. The only reason I didn't get if it five stars is it's a little dark and dreary in the shop itself. I will be returning.

I asked them if they knew how to do a lion cut. They said they did. Do you see a mane? They trimmed/shaved my cat all the way including her feet. That’s not a lion cut. And see that red patch on her neck? It raw and oozing. Go somewhere where they know what they are doing.

We've been everywhere between Yuc & Redlands (groomers) & the experience we had here at Yuc dog & cat ties with Nohas Bark in Redlands, for THE BEST all around grooming experince in our area. P.s. Took my cat here to get groomed and a some matt's shaved off. It was my cats first time to a groomer and I worried about how he would do and how the groomer would treat him. My cat is one of the most important things in my life. when I called or went in to the shop the man was very nice and had a good customer service attitude. I was a bit concerned of the loud music and if it would cause more anxiety to my cat but when I picked him up he didn't seem abnormally upset. So to that I say let it play. They told me that my cat did well but didn't like the blow dryer. I know my cat and he doesn't like water and will claw out of there quick, so for them to say he did well shows they are understanding when it comes to an animal's reactions. I was shocked that when I got home my cat didn't run and hide for the rest of the day like I thought he would. He seemed so happy and wanted me to pet him because the matt's were gone and he felt so much better. They did a fantastic job with everything I requested done and I will be going there for all future needs. Thank you Yucaipa dog and cat groomers for being good to my fur baby

Was hoping to find the right grooming place to take my dog. However, I noticed a cut around my dogs back leg when I got home from picking her up. I’m sure they knew about it yet no one said anything. The prices and friendliness isn’t worth it. If I could leave 0 stars I would. No professionalism whatsoever. Find another place that actually cares for your pets and their well-being. Very disappointed. Google unfortunately wouldn’t let me post the pictures so I hope this review would do something

Visited family in Yucaipa recently, I needed to have my dogs nails cut fast cause he was really hurting me with his claws and he stunk. I Looked up groomers, found Yucaipa grooming. They got me in within a couple hours. Thank you

I took my senior dog to get his nails trimmed. They were super quick and affordable. He even got on the floor to trim his nails while my dog laid down. Not sure why he didn't use a table but he did a great job. Will be going back for his next nail trim and possibly for deshedding.

Called to get info and pricing for my dog that is shedding heavily. I explained my situation in great detail and the staff said that if I added the de-shed treatment for an extra 10 bucks then this would take care of my issue. I called and spoken to another staff member a week later and explained again my issue in detail. She also recommended the de-shed and said it would take care of my issue. So $45 and an hour later I get my dog. as he's walking out of the back room I see hairs floating off of him. I explained that this is why I brought him in and they twice set the expectation that this would be taken care of. The staff then said it would take 3 trips to get the results i was after (so $130). And since I just talked to the groomer when i dropped him off she probably didn't understand that and didn't explain it correctly. I got my dog home and spent 45 minutes brushing him with a rubber glove brush and got a full handful of hair off. Obviously they could have done this at the facility. When I explained that they didn't meet the expectation that THEY set, they just repeated multiple times that it was a miscommunication but nothing else would be done. No offer for any type of discount for the next 2 deshed washings (which I wasn't told I'd need) no offer to reduce the price since I would have gotten the same result if I just washed him at home like I normally do. No offer to brush him a little more to get the hair off that was flying everywhere. Just a thanks for the money, and come back with more attitude. I live in Yucaipa and spend my money here. But I will not be spending it there. Plus the office was pretty tore up. Not very professional looking so that should have been my first red flag. If you don't care about the appearance then your probably not concerned about repeat business.

They blast hard rock music. That is not acceptable to me. This is a groomer, not a bar. It has to be scaring the poor babies. I asked them if they would turn it off while I was there and he said no! He could not because the people working there are contractors. If your dog or cat starts crying outside before they go in you will know why! Go somewhere else.

I always make sure my cockapoo penny is doing just fine when I pick her up, believe me she has her ways of telling me she's hurt or upset, or mad at me! Lol but when I pick her up she always comes out prancing and happy go lucky additude which insures me she's had an awesome experience and feels great. So ever since we have been bringing her there, which is about 2 years now they have been great, so thanks guys for taking care of her and making me feel like she's always safe and in good hands.

I've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. For this trip, I only needed to have my little dog's nails clipped. Reasonably priced, I have never needed an appointment for nail clipping; they've immediately taken my dog right in.I always tip them for the great customer service I receive.

Brought in a dog who likely hasn't ever been groomed. Very coarse hair, with lots of matting. The poor dog was so nervous. We came as a walk in, without an appointment... so as expected it took a while with all there was to do, his apprehensive attitude, and them having to handle their appointments first. Dog came out looking so adorable, like a whole new dog!! When I called to check in on him, they let me know how he was doing, and exactly where they were in the process. Prices were great!!!!! Will definitely be returning! Highly recommend!

I have been going to Yucaipa Dog & Cat Groomers for about 3 years. I have a little 4.5 lb Chihuahua, and we have never had a bad experience. Everyone is very pleasant and very professional, and let's not forget well trained. I keep grabbing their business cards because I end up giving mine away to curious people with pets all the time. Give them a try, I guarantee you'll like them too.

Cant emphasize enough how satified i was with the grooming done on my poor matted cat. I was worried about leaving him there for the few hours it took to get it done . My cat Gibbs was so matted. His back and fur were rock hard. I felt so bad every day leaving him like that. After the blonde female groomer did her thing and i went to pick gibbs up he looked better and was acting like he felt a 10000× better . Thank you guys.

Brought our cat Nelly for a spa day . Hair cut, nail trim, bath etc... Nice, organized and clean space. Jake did a beautiful job. The guy's are sweet, calm and kind to the animals. We we're so happy to find a cat groomer in the area,and Nelly was really happy and calm when we picked her up. Wonderful experience,and we'll definitely be coming back and bringing our dog in too.

**UPDATE**Joe the owner replied to my review below. I called him today, and we both agreed that there must have been a miscommunication, and he offered to give me a refund, but I respectfully declined, because after all they did groom my dog. I'm very appreciative that Joe reached out to me. Thank you.I gave this place 3 stars because the staff is really nice and helpful, but they didn't groom my dog the way I asked. I probably won't go back.

I love the personal and gentle treatment my little service dog, Osker receives each and every time we visit Yucaipa Dog and Cat Groomers in Yucaipa. Joe, the Owner, always makes time to trim my dog's nails with as little upset to Osker as possible. They never closed during the covid crisis and they are definitely an essential service! It's a no frills shop with very reasonable prices and the staff has always been friendly. I am so glad I found someone to cut my dog's nails with very little upset to him. Other groomers traumatized and hurt my pet's sensitive paws. I am very pleased to have found Joe and his crew!

My dog had gotten out a few days ago. He somehow got into something that gave him fleas. I called to see about their flea dip.I was able to bring Augie in right when I called and he was done in 2 hours. He looked beautiful when I picked him up.He was still itching the next day and I called to ask what I should do. The owner gave me great advice and was sooooooooooo nice about it all.I am new to the area and he will be going back there when I am here. Best service and they are really good to the animals.Reasonable prices too!

This place is an absolute joke. Don’t even waste your time. We have been loyal customers here since we got my poodle back in ‘07, 13 years, a few dogs, and a lot of referrals later, we have still been coming. have had not so nice people there, but after today I will not be returning. I have never dealt with such terrible customer service in my life. I called on 6/3/2020 to make an appt to get my dogs groomed, there was no answer so I left a message. On 6/5 they returned my call, they were booked up until 6/16. I scheduled all 3 of my dogs an appt for this day. On 6/10/2020 I got notice that I would be going back to work, so I called to reschedule my 6/16 appt. the person I spoke to on the phone let me know the first available they had was Saturday 6/20/2020 in the afternoon. I took it and thanked her. Saturday comes, I’ve missed my daughter’s dance, had to have someone help me take her, and managed to get 3 dogs inside. I come inside and get greeted with a very rude “nail cut?”, to which I let her know I was there for a grooming appt. I gave her my name as well as my family’s , to which I get told very rudely again that I don’t have an appt. apparently I have an appt on TUESDAY 6/23. I tell her the person I spoke to and the situation to which she responds very rudely with “well it’s written on Tuesday and I don’t know why it would be there if that’s not when you booked it” If I called to reschedule FROM Tuesday due to work, why would I reschedule TO Tuesday? That makes total sense right? I’m standing there juggling three dogs and ask “so there’s nothing you can do for me?” To which she responds smugly “nope, you have an appt in Tuesday we’re booked, not our problem you got it wrong” While they have ONE dog in their kennels. I laugh, let them know I will be looking for another groomer. I walk out, and I get followed out by the owner’s niece. She lets me know that she feels I was right in how I handled the situation, and she does not feel the situation was handled correctly. But, because she is new she had to let it be handled. She said she understood my frustration and believes it was a clerical error, and the whole situation was wrong. She said she would like to rectify it but she was not sure she could, so she would call her uncle. I let her know I didn’t think the situation could be rectified, but he was more than welcome to call and attempt to try. I thanked her for coming out, and trying. If he does call and rectify it, I will update my review.
