Applied for a job and spoke to an employee making sure they got my application, she told me to come in today and ask for holly so i went in and the holly said "there's no way" as if I was lying about being told to come for an interview and told me to come back at 2. Came back at 2 and was about to talk to the holly ,and she walked off and acted like I wasn't there , they didn't recognize me because she than proceeded to tell another coworker"I get off at 2 and told that guy to come at 2 so I'd be gone by then"

The last time I remember shopping Yucaipa's Big Lots had to have been at least a year ago. A lot has changed. The overall product selection is the same, as well as the prices (between you and I, when one considers themselves a discount store, one should offer discount prices). The most noticeable difference is the layout of the registers. Much improved. A close second, the various large propaganda pieces on the walls.

Big Lots has changed for the better!! They have alot more clothing items! Broyhill products for the home! A big selection of make up,bath and body products! Also the store shelving has been rearranged. It is a more bright and inviting place. I have always loved shopping at Big Lots. It is always fun to shop here! You never know what you might find in the next aisle! I find it is a little more expensive than usual. But then,so is every other store!

Every time I shop at Big Lots it leaves me a little more disappointed.The inventory is amazing and so random that one isle holds pool toys never before seen (and maybe don't) to snack foods that are ! Large, clean and ready to scratch the "I need it, for what I have NO idea" itch.But that feeling that Big Lots had prices that were so low it seems one HAD to get it are over. Unfortunately with all the other shops around, all Big Lots has going for it is all the hard to find items. It's possible I'm getting old also. Probably both.The store is enormous and very well maintained. I will shop here to purchase more stuff "I need but have no need to have." ,🤷🏼

My daughter and I came here this morning at 10:30. We needed a storage container down off the top shelf. I walked the store looking for help but there was none to be found. I went up to the cashier and there was two people working the registers and two people waiting to be checked out in line. I asked the the young man working the one register if someone could help us with the storage containers and he said he LL be there in a minute so we went back to wait for help. We stood there for ten minutes and he never came. We decided to leave and very upset. As we walked out the door this guy cashier told us to have a good day. I told him I stood back there waiting and you never came. All he said was sorry. Big Lots needs employees that care about their customers so they'll come back to shop. I LL never shop at this Big Lots again!!

Could not find help when I went in, 15 minutes before closing.. knew what I wanted could not locate it right away. When told its instant savings.. my thought is right now.. the cashier was too interested in going home. Wasn't listening to me about scanning 2 items for the price

I found myself looking for a few random items related to car cleaning, and decided to give Big Lots a try. Honestly, it felt a lot like a large and glorified dollar store. Shelves were generally stocked, organization was decent, prices seemed average. Overall, I didn't see anything I needed, not did I find what I wanted. Probably won't go back anytime soon.

I go to Big lots to get my cases of water of Crystal Geyser. Best water around and for a good price. I also go get my coffee pods there at a real good price. I also like Big lots Big roll of paper towels 142 ply sheets and you can select the size when you pull one out. They have all kinds of appliances if you need one for your kitchen. I was looking for another Keurig coffee maker because the one I have I've had for quite a while so I wanted to buy one just in case my old one goes out. During the holidays they had a nice one for $129 then they dropped it down to $99 and I was able to combine two coupons and I got it for $74. So I got a good deal. Big lots is always having specials on a lot of items so I would recommend shopping there first for certain things before you go pay a lot of money at other big retail stores.

My family and I really enjoy coming to this store. The staff is courteous and the Manager Lauren is very helpful and actually cares about customer service. She always takes time to help us find products and is very professional. We will absolutely be back!

Floors in place are filthy. I needed a spray bottle. Only 2 left. On top shelf way in back. Asked for help and girl just stood there looking at it. I finally got a pole from mop and knocked it down. Told her catch it and she just kept staring so fell on floor. Never have a good experience there. It's my last resort when looking for something. Prices aren't very good either.

The new store design is cramped and messy. The newer staff have had little to no formal training and have a hard time answering questions related to anything other than what they are working on at that moment. However, as I said they've had zero formal training so this is to be expected.

Assorted Merchandise is scattered throughout the store with no price tags. You find food items in the pet aisle and pet items in the food aisle. Store is very disorganized and it is common to find two of the same item with different prices! However if you take the time you can find some really good buys and prices lower than grocery stores. Especially on Keurig coffees.

First time shopping there. Was surprised how reasonable the pricing was. Plus the products I purchased were of excellent grade. The same griddle that was at Walmart for $50, l got at Big Lots for $20. Needless to say I'll be shopping there again.

OMG! What happened to the store? Messy, empty shelves, open packages with Merchandise gone, merchandise all over the floor. New floor plans is awful. Employess are very nice & sweet.
