I scheduled an appointment for a bath and brush for my Mini Doodle on 12/5/23. I was excited about trying this location because it is close to our home. Checking in went well however when I arrived to pick up I immediately noticed that his coat wasn’t fully dry. When putting on his booties I noticed that his paws were very damp. Today I noticed more things that raised concern as his coat is not fully brushed out and he doesn’t smell like he received a proper wash. I’m extremely unhappy with the service received and question the care that was given to my fur baby. I usually take him to another location in Sacramento where he gets the service and care he deserves. I was hoping that this location would work out because it is closer to our home but unfortunately it did not. After seeing other reviews about this grooming salon I will not be going back.***Update to my experience After placing my complaint I did not receive a response from Petsmart. I had to follow up 2 times and have my concerns escalated. I received a call from Cassandra the salon manager who offered to give me a better experience. Today 12/23/23 my doodle received a good wash and brush his coat is soft and fluffy and he smells good. I love it when I picked him up he was so happy and that gives me so much relief because he such a sweet boy a totally different experience today and I appreciate Petsmart for making it right. Had to see the local store here. I am from several states away and needed to grab a few supplies. Store is smaller than many in my state, but they had what i needed. Staff was friendly. Store was mostly clean. The new Nate & Jeremiah line is great!

So my purpose is to keep the store aware along with the public. Yesterday my girlfriend and I came in and bought some items. One of the items we bought and i forget the name, was a Croissant with sesame seeds. It came in a two pack. Girlfriend wanted them because they looked like the dogs might like them. So we gave them both to the two dogs we have.Half hour after the husky we have vomitted not once but 4 separate times in the span of say 2 hours. The other mixed breed vomitted one large amount. We pin pointed it down to the Croissants because the only thing they had in the reasonable time span was purified water.Passing this on because we love animals in general, and we do not want to make any other pets sick. Please pull them from your shelf.

Normally have very good experience with this store, but someone in stocking screwed up today. This entire cart of "Perishable, Refrigerate Immediately" dog food sat in the aisle, not cold to the touch anymore. Was there for the entire 20mins we were in the store, and probably longer. Can easily ruin an entire stock of expensive food customers pay for, and they wouldn't know until their pet gets sick

Love this place. I was having some difficulty finding the right food, for my sensitive fur baby, that didn't have any peas or sweet potatoes. The clerk was very helpful going over the ingredients and pointing out a couple of choices until we narrowed it down to the perfect one. He also explained that if my dog doesn't like it, I can bring it back for a full refund or exchange for another brand. I never knew PetSmart did that. On the advice from my vet, I was also looking for a compressed rawhide chew bone. The clerk was helpful with that too, and luckily, I got the last one. The cashier was also very nice and helped me update my information, since it's been a few years, and long before I moved to Yuba City, since I have been to a PetSmart. I will definitely continue to shop here!

The groomer staff are incredible. Every time I bring my fur baby in he is treated with SUCH kindness I couldn’t find anywhere else (i usually bring him in for his nails and occasionally a bath). My baby gets a little nervous going in sometimes, but they love him to death & I know they’ll take care of him for me. Amazing Amazing people. I trust no place else!

This used to be my favorite place to take my dog and to get treats for my crested gecko, however, lately the staff don't seem to care as much about being personable, there's always different people working, they are short staffed, so it takes forever to get help, and they are always out of crickets. I look forward to them getting their staff back up so that I can enjoy going there again.

Wanted to get my cat groomed, they are very nice and helpful about it but I didn't realize I couldn't give her her calming medicine which is Gabapentin before she went in so they couldn't do it that day and then I couldn't do it when we had another appointment because she took off crazy cat she did come back but that was the last chance I had to before I left that town

The clerks there are highly knowledgeable on pets and pet supplies and are so polite and helpful. Very refreshing to find customer service people that enjoy what they are doing, smile and engage ... and fur babies are awesome!!!

First time that we took our dog to be groomed here. First of all, very great at checking in, friendly and attention is paid to your pet. Now the grooming. Her toenails were not trimmed correctly and the very next day my vets office fixed them. I have a Golden Doodle, and I just believe that I will have to take a photo of what the head of a doodle should look like, when I say a retriever face, please don't make my Doodle look like a Poodle! I will come back here because I believe that the groomer really wants to please the owner (me). God knows I get lots of second chances! We took her back, and they did a FABULOUS job, even gave her mani/pedi and painted her toenails pink to match mine!!

First, shortly after I adopted Cooper, I enrolled Cooperin the puppy class. Maryanne was very patient with me and Cooper. She is a great instructor. Neighbors praise me for how well behaved Cooper is. It wouldn't be possible without Maryanne. Thank you Maryanne. Cooper is difficult for me to bathe so I made an appointment for Cooper to be bathed and have his nails trimmed. Eduardo got along good with Cooper and he even allowed Eduardo to clean his ears which had never been done. Thank you for a great job Eduardo. Hope you are there next month to bathe Cooper. The store is clean and I was amazed how well stocked it was today. As with all stores for people or animals during the pandemic sometimes it was difficult to find what was needed. I recommend the Yuba City store.

I’m going to have to start going somewhere else for my dogs grooming needs. Not consistent at all.I made an appointment for my 2 dogs and she was done in less than 2 hours. Usually it takes a few hours for my one dog. I don’t believe they were brushed. Certainly doesn’t look like/feel it. Their nails weren’t clipped well, some nails don’t looked clipped at all. The paws weren’t cleaned up (hair still long and unruly on their paws). I’m sure they didn’t use conditioner because my girls weren’t even a little soft. I asked for a hygiene trim on my long haired GSD’s and it looks just as long as it was before the appointment.It literally looks like they just gave them a bath and did nothing else. I could do that at home. Very disappointed.

I arrived at the doors at 9:01 PM when the store closed at 9 PM they were still checking a customer out, but wouldn’t let me run and grab a bag of dog food because she was “getting ready” to close down the register. What has happened to customer service? I guess I’ll have to find a new place to get my pet food.

People are always nice, but no matter who I ask, they seem just as clueless as I do when I need to find something. When I ask an associate for help to find something, I assume they know the store better than I do. But I am instantly disappointed when the associate does exactly what I've just done and starts looking at each isles sign and then goes up and down the isle looking for the product. I spent over 15 years in customer service positions like that and always made sure to know the basics of where certain items/brands were, especially for repeat customers.

I had just lost my little guinea pig a 5 years. I was really grieving and went in to see if they had a little baby for me. Everyone was so wonderful getting all the stuff that I needed for her. I've even been back twice to get things. Great customer service!

Whether its to buy cat food or for them to check my fish tank water they are always friendly and helpful. The only thing i have ever had an issue with us their prices can be a tad high.
