Very professional. The kind-hearted staff here were very accommodating. They helped to ease any anxiety both me and my dog were experiencing. They cleared the way as I expressed that large breed dogs make my dog anxious. They created no barriers in my customer experience and were right on time. Well staffed!

Employee brought a hand basket for me. I was taking a long time to decide on cat food. Looking for food for skin and coat health. Don’t like paying $75 for 7.7 lb vet diet, BY PRESCRIPTION ONLY, dry food that contains POWDERED CELLULOSE, just because it is processed to avoid allergies.Store always clean and fairly well stocked. Customer service is always “Tip Top”

Called and had a phone call with one of their male store managers related to their Guinea pigs. He said to call back the following week and to ask for him. When I did so, a female manager answers the phone in a somewhat rude manner. Decided to give her the benefit of the doubt that she was having a bad day or something. Nonetheless, after asking to talk to the person I had talked to prior, she rudely says “I’m the actual manager of this store, and will not give out information about the employee you talked to.” Didn’t ask for any information, just to talked to the person I had talked to prior. I even remembered his name from our prior conversations. The general manager of the yuba city petco need to rethink being in retail or anything customer service related.

The animal care at this particular store are absolutely terrible. Every time I come in, an animal is emaciated, has the wrong humidity (reptiles), ball pythons on aspen (supposed to be on forest floor or reptichip) and stuck shed, and the betas are practically dead upon purchase (waters are obviously never changed and I’ve seen betas with ammonia burns and fins gone from rot). I do my best to stay away and only come here if I have to. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing an animal from here unless you want a rehab project.

I really like this store. It's very clean and the employees are always willing to help with a smile. Recently I was looking for a particular catnip that my cats literally go crazy for. I finally asked for help and the guy knew exactly what product I was talking about. Also I saw the cutest little rain shoes that I think imma hafta go back and buy for our chihuahua!

Horrible customer service! Management and associates need to be replaced. Bri & Jazmine are extremely unprofessional. Going into a place that sells animals and they treat their customers like trash kinda worries me for the safety of the animals!

I go to Petco often. Regularly for Instinct Raw cat food. They are always very helpful . I pick up fish items too. Prices are a bit high on basic stuff though. I don't mind for the hard to get items.

The staff is friendly and the store is well stocked whenever I go there. It's a chain store so prices are pretty much the same as you'll find at any other chain store.They do try to clean up the occasional accident as quickly as possible, which is nice.

Staff is very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I went there tonsee about a flea dip/treatment for my 2 kitties, sadly they do not have a cat groomer. However, the staff was able to assist me in finding a suitable product.

Cooper and I browsed the dog department this morning. I found a dog shampoo that I hope will work well for my puppy. It is a medicated oat shampoo. He constantly itches and a regular oat shampoo does not stop the itch. Then we went to grooming and got his nails buffed. Jazmin made them so nice and smooth. Cooper did not behave very well for Jazmin but she did a really great job. Now it doesn't hurt when he comes up and boxes me. He twisted, cried, barked and was considering howling but Jazmin took it in stride. Cooper will be back to get a bath and his nails buffed and I definitely will request Jazmin. She is professional, friendly and helpful. I do wish they had a bathing area where dog owners could bathe their dogs. I will be back and check out the dog food area. The store was clean and neat.

No one was at the register or the fish area for long periods of time most of the lights were off after lunch hours most tanks or live stock appeared floating or upside down truly gruesome.! I think Walmart in Linda had better quality

We have gone to Petco grooming for years and this visit we were told our dog was antsy so she can no longer come to the groomer. She did not bite, fight or anything. She was nervous and had an accident twice. It was busier than normal and a different groomer than in the past.

Today I went in to get a couple of chiclid's and the guy respectably told me that one of the goldfish had ich and I'm happy I he told me that before I purchased them. That would've killed my tank so 2 stars but much respect to the guy who told me.

This was the first time I took my dog to Petco to have his bath and nails trimmed. I read on line that they would charge $27.50 for bathing him and trimming his nails. When I went to pay at the cashier, I was charged 37.50. After that I asked if I wanted to tip the groomer. Which I didn't because they already charged me $10 extra so I just left without paying a tip.
