I was at the self checkout today at 1:20pm and checking out. I have some electronic so before I paid. The system need someone to approve my purchase. I asked for assistance and she came over to help. She said it would've been nice if I could wait a little bit for her to get a drink of water before calling for her. She can't wait until next year. We'll I don't know what next year is for her and wanted to say something back to her but seeing she is an older woman I didn't say anything but thank her for the help and paid for my stuff and left. It seems like no one here wants to work because while shopping I heard workers complaining about other workers as well.

Couldn’t have been a more soulless experience. Surrounded by hundreds of zombies fidgeting in lines while the 3 cashiers await sweet relief. It is pretty awesome how they rake in millions of $$ from a bunch of working class folks and won’t even staff their store properly. What a cool world we live in.

Horrible, not only do you have to check yourself out , but there's no one to help you get the millions of things they've locked up. Then after all that and you want to leave with no bags of course, they stop you at the door to make you prove you paid for your stuff, I'd rather pay more and go somewhere else.

Main retail location in Yreka, Ca. There are many registers yet they only open 1 or 2 and force you to self checkout while being stared down by 2 employees, which I get. Early morning is the best time to shop....or near closing but only during the week... Surprisingly, store is clean and actually well stocked. Some employees will pawn off asking for help on others...but some will go out of their way. For the area, it's the go to!

They only had 4 checkout lanes open "scan & go" but they wouldn't let you scan your own stuff and had 4 out of the 6 registers in each lanes either closed or reserved for spark drivers. Took me 5 minutes to get my things and 20 minutes to stand in line to get checked out

Terrible. What should have been a quick trip to pick up a vacuum to replace one that broke that morning turned into a time suck ordeal that dominated my weekend. I live 40 minutes from the store for context. First there were no carts at the door, all the customers were having to go back out to the lot to find a cart in the rain (so they were all wet). The two items I needed to purchase were both behind a locked panel. First you have to locate an employee that will respond to you waving at them asking for assistance. Not all of them have keys so one of the items took 15 minutes total to find an employee that didn’t have a key and for them to call an employee that did have a key. Then for each item they had to ring me up immediately for that item at the closest register, or they would take the item to the front (which I did not trust). When I got the vacuum home that I purchased it must had been stacked weird as the plastic on it was cracked and it was not useable. Now I need to find time another day to make hour and a half round trip trip back up there before my floors drive me crazy. I should have taken the extra half hour drive to Medford and went to Target.

I was able to find everything I needed, including a set of 16" kids bicycle tires and tubes. Later I realized I needed to make an exchange for the shorts I bought, easy transaction, all staff was helpful and friendly, the store was well stocked and clean and organized. And I got awesome shoes too!

Friendly staff, but not enough employees. They started closing at midnight now, which sucks for me because of my social anxiety. I prefer going there when there aren't too many people shopping. Apparently, they have a problem with thieves because you can't walk out the door without them checking your receipt. Which is a little annoying because you have to stand in line just to leave.

Wait forever to be checked out! Even the self checkout is no longer self checkout due to theft! They hardly have what you are looking for.

The food part of the store is empty. Don't bother. Go to a grocery store. See attached pictures. No whole milk, etc. And as usual - 14 service lines with only 3 open. They force the customers to the self check because not many want to wait forever in the few actual check out lines.

Guys at the door are friendly. Hard to find employees in the "sections" they work in. More self check out than checkers. If you have a movie or something else that needs to be approved of sale for age, it's hit and miss to have someone in self check out on top of things. Mostly the girls are chatting and watching things on their phones and not paying attention to those that need them to clear up what ever is on the self checkout screen.

Honestly I would not come here if your openly lgbtq I personally did not feel welcome and got laughed at for the way I was dressed but I just did my business and honestly it's a huge Walmart with a lot of good deals

Y'all need to fire all the salary paid staff at that job. My husband's the one that works at customer service and he needed back up last Saturday and none of you lazy mfs came to help him You're the worst people ever. He called on the intercom twice and y'all can't hear nothing. Oh I guess it didn't pertain to none of y'all so y'all didn't care. Do your job better or let someone else do it.

There was no one to get a car battery for 30 minutes at Walmart last night. Customer service close to hours early without notice. Staff provides no explanation. There were two checkers in the entire store.

I came to pick up a money gram as I’m currently traveling and stranded because my wallet was stolen and finally was able to gather up enough funds to drive to the nearest money gram location and pick up my money gram so I get here and they tell me they’re closed and they close at 8 and have been for years. Literally the money gram website and Walmarts both day until 9 ocklock !!! So what is the issue here with these places doing this and not having the facts , is it because it looks more customer friendly to have better longer hours posted on the website but in reality they’re much shorter ! And I seriously dout that corporate would appreciate a manager turning someone in my position away when I explained I was stranded and this is the only money gram location for hundreds of miles and I told her I would have to spend the night in the parking lot just to wait on these people!!! They could have easily processed my money gram and actually gave a dam about a customer for once ! Walmart don’t care about it’s customers at all they just care about making that bottom line everything else is just fuzz and it sad and disheartening ! Shame on you Walmart and shame on the condescending managers that made me wait for over twenty minutes to speak with someone and then treated me like a vagrant and thought it was funny ! Someday you’ll eat crow for being such an “amazing”customer service specialist!!

Save your money and health. Do not buy Fish at this Yreka Walmart. The last "cod" we purchased at Yreka Walmart was so smelly and the texture was mush (within a few hours of the purchase), the so called cod went straight into the garbage. Over 10 dollars wasted along with an aborted meal plan.

Incredibly slow check out with cashier even though the people in line ahead of us only had a few things.The store seemed picked through but I was able to get nearly everything we came for. 🤷🏻‍♀️Saw a lot of people purchasing packs of water- there was still a lot left in case you wanted to buy some there :)

Didn't know I worked at Walmart until I went shopping here. No carts inside so my job interview started. I walked outside and got 7 carts in one trip. I then take the one cart I need and start shopping.When I was shopping corporate must have saw my outstanding cart relocation skills and gave me a promotion.When I arrived at the front I was then forced to be my own cashier.Worst part is I was not given the employee discount.

Don't expect the frozen section to be stocked2/2/2020Can't even buy a screwdriver now without coming on a quest to find a worker with keys. Best chance is to wait by the door in back and tackle someone before they are "on break"
