All I can say is WOW! This lovely winery is located in the center of the valley with a beautiful tasting room and an incredible back deck with a view of the valley that takes your breath away! Kitty was terrific and we truly appreciated her hospitality! They really payed attention to detail, with our names on the table and a personalized tasting menu awaiting our arrival. They are truly a class act! The wines were all amazing and we made some lovely purchases. Highly recommend the experience and can't wait to go back!

We came here as a recommendation from a friend and we had such a lovely time. Antoine was so friendly, informational, and it felt like we were hanging out with a new friend. We left even thinking “this will be hard to top!” since we’re visiting other vineyards. The back story for Goosecross is super interesting and I’ve got a ton of respect for the owner and the whole company.Hope you all enjoy your time here like we did 😊

Excellent place! We brought our two dogs and they were so welcomed. I cannot remember our wine stewards’ name, but she was English and absolutely amazing. So warm, welcoming and friendly. Cannot say enough good things about this place.

The Rose was the highlight of the tasting. The staff was very friendly and the setting was pleasant. The Pinot was undrinkable, syrah was below-average and 21 Napa Cab was not +$90. I didn't think it was possible for a winery in Yountville to produce undrinkable wine. For $50 per tasting, it was a robbery. If you're reading this review, try Crescere Pinot and Sangiacomo chardonnay.

08-11-22: Napa is in an odd place right now. You need an appointment to wine taste most everywhere. It’s good to know Brad from Pina who referred us to Janie at Gooscross. Amazing tasting experience. Beautiful setting and great wines. Yes, I’m buying a case of Chardonnay, 2 State Lane Merlot and 2 State Lane Cab.

We visited Goosecross for a friend's birthday in December 2023, and the experience reminded us why we stopped going to Napa and why we enjoy Amador more.We were very disappointed in the tasting experience at Goosecross. The cab flight was very good, but the price points for the wine were too expensive. We asked our host Kitty to try two additional wines (the Zin and the Chardonnay) and the attitude was like we were asking her to break her sacred vows and violate her ethical code.At the end of the tasting, Kitty informed us the tasting fee ($100) is comped if we purchased 3 bottles off the tasting... Which were all excessively priced. $90-160. Any reasonably priced bottle did not count toward the tasting fee (end of discussion).No offense, I would gladly pay $40-$60 for these wines... But not the prices being asked and not when we're not allowed to taste a few additional wines we're interested in.

We thoroughly recommend Goosecross winery. We booked at short notice and the lovely lady on the phone was very accommodating booking us on a tasting that very afternoon. Our host was Janey and she was an absolute delight; we love wine but are not aficionados and Janey provided an accessible, interesting and highly entertaining experience. The wines were superb, we particularly enjoyed your Zinfandels and the State Lane Cabernet Sauvignon and the Chardonnay we purchased without tasting has also proved to be a joy. My husband and I are not typically wine drinkers, but of course we wanted to do a tasting while in the area. Our host, Sam, was so friendly/attentive and gave us all the wine info we could have asked for! We really enjoyed the wines we tried and the beautiful scenery from the patio. They are a fairly small operation so come here for a chance to try something you can’t easily find elsewhere.

I had the BEST experience here and it’s all because of ANTOINE!!!What an amazing conversation we had with him, just kicked back and felt like I was hanging out with a buddy, knocking back some wine while looking at gorgeous views.I’d come again for sure and bring a group of friends to have the experience. Our friends are members, and took us wine tasting here. I think this is hands down, my favorite winery I've ever been to. I lived up in Sonoma County for almost 4 years, so that's saying a lot! It was such a fun time and the staff was great! There was not one wine I tasted that I disliked. I'm not a huge fan of whites, but I liked all of theirs. My first time here, I bought 3 bottles- branta, petite syrah and the merlot. They are also very reasonably priced for the quality! If you're looking for a top notch wine for only $40, Branta is your wine! Such a great experience, I'm probably going to become a member!

Nice time and ok setting. Arrived with 8 and they wouldn’t let my baby (in lap) sit outside while we did the tasting. Our fault for not reading the confirmation email fine print, but even Yountville locals who sent us there were a bit taken aback by their unwillingness to budge (citing everywhere being dog friendly. so why not a baby outside on terrace?)… only 1 other table of 2 were there in the entire place … Nice people and overall OK wine (all reds on tasting menu, half we enjoyed) - Have felt more at home in other settings so wouldn’t return.

This is my favorite vineyard of all times - not because of the layout, the beautiful setting, or even where it is - although all of those things are wonderful. I love this vineyard for what they produce - some of the finest red wines I have ever put to my lips. I am not a fan of white wines but I'm sure Goosecross makes some of the finest on the planet. I love red wine and you cannot go wrong with this company. Outstanding, wines, outstanding service, outstanding tasting room and I love to stroll the vineyard. I hope you're open soon.

A friend that had been here previously recommended it to us and we're lucky that he did. We couldn't enjoy the patio due to rain, but we had a great time in the tasting room. Jason was so knowledgeable about the entire process and patient and kind enough to deal with questions from two very curious engineers about everything from the equipment used to the soil types on the property. Couldn't have asked for a better experience or a better guide through the tasting process. We will definitely be back in the future!

Jason booked our party of (12) and he brought his "A" game. Super knowledgeable and really went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. This winery was fine, very average. The outdoor spot by the vineyards was pretty but the tasting and venue was very average. We had started at Paraduxx and were bummed we left to come here. It’s not terrible, but not memorable. Plenty of more interesting wineries to visit in Napa.

One of our favorite wineries to visit in Napa. Beautiful tasting area right next to the vineyards, great wines, friendly hosts and a relaxed and very un-stuffy vibe. Also just a walk or bike ride away from our favorite place to stay... Napa Valley Lodge. Keep up the great work Goosecross!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Spencer. He was an absolutely delightful host. He was so warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. He embodied and highlighted the cozy and relaxed feel of this beautiful establishment. We came home with a bottle of the 2016 Goosecross Pinot Noir. Everything we tasted was exceptional. This experience exceeded our expectations. Cannot wait to go back to Napa Valley and visit Goosecross. Oh and cannot wait to order more wine in the meantime!
