This place is honestly one of the best places I've been! Such a wide selection of specialty items and one thing that stuck out to me was the Buffet. $10.99 per pound with many options to choose from, they even have mushroom pizza! Outdoor seating to enjoy your lunch/dinner while enjoying the cool breeze. On top of that they have very delicious ice cream. I would recommend the frozen ice cream sandwich encased in thin waffle with white chocolate as the second layering on top of the cold ice cream of either strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, or matcha green tea flavors! I would highly recommend this to someone who would like to taste Japanese food!

This store has everything you need for Japanese cuisine. My favorite items are the candy displays they sure are very inviting and eye captivating. However, on this particular trip I was looking for rice toppings, and I was not disappointed with the endless selection. The sushi bar was yummy 😋.

We attended a wedding in the area and found this place by accident. The selection of sushi and fish was very impressive. They even had uni! We had to stop in.We ended up spending about $150-200 on different things and almost all of it was very disappointing. Nothing was particularly great, most just so-so. But the uni was genuinely bad. We were concerned we'd get sick after eating it. My wife spit hers out. Some things were decent, if pricey. And they have an extensive Japanese beer, wine, and sake selection, so it's worth checking out. But be smarter than we were. Don't go hog wild until you've tried the sushi first to test it's quality.

Always my favorite place to buy Japanese sushi, snacks, skincare products and appliances. Meat is clean and of high quality (not very cheap, though). Their produce tends to be pricy with limited selection, but I like to buy their apples, oranges and tangerines which are fresh and often on sale. Love it!

I’ve been wanting to stop by and check out @tokyo.central for awhile and I’m glad I had a chance to visit the #yorbalinda location. Such a big selection of Japanese groceries in #socal🇯🇵🍜🍣🐡🍱🍡Let’s go explore…- A HUGE selection of sushi and sashimi. It was nice to see that they were restocking the sushi area so everything looked fresh and oh so good!- Bento boxes are amazing!- Ramen were ready to go in the food court.- Poke Bowls had big chunks of spicy salmon at a great price.- Most excited for the Tako Sashimi! One of my favorites!!💙- Sandwich options for lunch.- So many sweet treats, including skewered Dango.- Wonderful selection of hot food items for lunch and dinner.- So much fresh fish- So many Kimchi options, including cucumber kimchi.- Soup Base for Hot Pot and whatever you need for it.- An amazing selection of Frozen foods, like Pork Bao and Buns.- Wagyu Beef for Shabu Shabu and other meat options.- Their produce department had a great selection and nicely displayed.- So many snack options that looked so yummy. They have all the seasonings, seaweed and sriracha mayo to make your own Poke Bowls at home, which I did stock up on. 😊And, so much more to see that would probably take another trip there lol 🤣

My wife bought me a sushi 🍣 kit for anniversary, and thought this market would have all the necessary ingredients. And Boy was she right. Literally thought I stepped into Japan 🇯🇵 in this place, feels very authentic, and very Tokyo. You MUST know exactly what your looking for OR know how to read Japanese labels because to the untrained patron it can be a bit overwhelming. The fish 🐟 is fresh as can be, like A LOT of different types, fish eggs, seafood, octopus etc, packaged for individual size and priced pretty decent. The more rare fish will cost you, but its legit and looks beautiful. Meat department has the BEST Kobe beef slices, marinated chicken etc. Staff are fairly busy but will totally help you find what your looking for. (1 employee actually found a supervisor to help me find a honeydew soda..👌👌) for what we paid its a lot cheaper than restaurants. I've become quite the sushi and udon chef since coming. I may never eat out again.

We made sushi for Valentine's Day and needed specific ingredients that are not at our local grocery store. So, part of our adventure was shopping at Tokoyo Central.Tokyo Central is designed nicely. It was easy to maneuver and find everything we needed quickly. The staff was very friendly and helpful in the seafood department. Next were the spices and everything was in a logical order and easy to find. Lastly, the produce department. The produce was fresh and plentiful and put our local grocery store to shame. If we lived closer, I'd shop here for produce and seafood. If anyone is wondering, our Sushi night was fun and a big success.

A place full of Japanese food ingredientsIn particular, the food is well organized and you can buy fresh sushi or meat.Above all, the assorted sushi is the best for the price, but it's a pity that the price has gone up

Wish there was an apartment complex that was directly connected to Tokyo Central. It would be a match in😇, a bachelor's dream, of having all the 🇯🇵🍜🍣🐡🍱🍡 right there when you wake up and come back from work. Prices are very reasonable, awesome selection, sufficient parking, and right across from In and Out. Bought some gift certificates, they were the old style paper type versus a gift card.

My new favorite Japanese supermarket! This place is still pretty new (Opened in 2018). Looks very modern and clean. It has a very wide selection of food as well as authentic Japanese sake. They have a Japanese sake bar inside the supermarket. Bakery items were so good, too! I tried their Green Tea and White Chocolate Scone and it was delicious. Just like back home :)

This is the only place to shop for Japanese food in Yorba Linda/Anaheim Hills area. The groceries variety here are very complete and offers many ready to eat food. We often come here for shabby-shabu meats. The cashier stands are name after Tokyo district names.....

We had just found out that this location had a Tokyo Central (we normally go to the OC) and this place is closer to the house and wanted to check it out. This place is really nice, really clean, and spacious! The food selection here is great and the bento boxes are awesome!!! After we got our groceries, we ate at the food court section just right before you exit (and from the outside as soon as you enter) and relax after a hard day's shopping 🤣😂. Thank you so much Tokyo Central!!!

This is a great japanese supermarket. Lots of japanese goodies. The food court is also nice you can pour your own water both hot and cold options. I prefer this place to Mitsuwa as they provide soy sauce, pickle ginger, and wasabi to make your meal more enjoyable. Lots of bento options available. The sashimi and nigiri are always very fresh, the freshness quality is equal to most Japanese restaurants. The store also features various products from different regions of Japan such as Hokkaido Fair, Wakayama, Kagoshima, etc. In general, this store has more products compared to Mitsuwa and the prices are also cheaper as well. They also sell party tray sushi trays, which you have to order and pay in person.

I love the food at Tokyo Central . This is a pro tip from me to you. You can go around 7pm if you like and all the nice sushi that was made fresh earlier is discounted and that's a real treat. Enjoy your visit.

A great grocery store to find Japanese/Asian ingredients. The cashiers are quick and friendly, so even if there's a line to check out, it will go quickly. Cute toys, dishes, gifts can be found here. Take time to explore this large store.

My son is like the proverbial kid in a candy store in Tokyo Central. He especially loves the variety of snack chips and Ramen. He always leaves there with a heaping bag of goodies and a big smile on his face!

Best produce and fresh fast sashimi or sushi. I wish the Ramen station were open. But I did buy two and warmed up at home. They were great. My favorite find are the specialty teas...many! Lastly, fresh shitake mushrooms..pricey but what a difference in a stir fry!

**updated October 2022**I went back at lunchtime on a Sunday, and the hot food selections were good, but the lines were extremely long (10 min), and self checkout was not available.Tokyo Central is still a place I love. However, it's gone downhill since 2019. I understand that the restrictions in 2020 affected a lot of businesses, but they could do better bouncing back.If you want good hot food selections be sure to go at lunch. Pickings may be slim in the evening, which is a disappointment if you're headed there for dinner. In other parts of the store I saw more empty shelves than I would have expected. Certain items I used to buy were no longer available. They have a gigantic cooler filled with Japanese sodas and other drinks, but I couldn't even find a simple water bottle or coca-cola in this enormous cold drinks section. It's also disappointing that the other food stalls, and the bar in the dining area, are all either empty or shut down. This Tokyo Central has become slightly uninspiring... the abnormally long lines and crowds can make the experience a bit unpleasant at certain times of the day. I will continue to go there but it's definitely not a go-to anymore, especially in a hurry.

Wow what an electro shock . Been shopping at this store for a while and the prices ( especially on meat and dessert) gone mad recently . Used to be a fabulous place to buy all my grocery there now i barely pick what i cant find on amazon or elsewhere . Only the strict necessary . Surch a shame . The food court is great . All the bento / sushi are fresh and taste delicious . Just be ready to spend quite a lot $$ .they are scalping like maniacs now .
