What a great place!!! Everyone here was super helpful and knowledgeable. I was treated like royalty and didn't even get a pet! The place is not huge, but it is well distributed and supplied. I will continue coming to learn more about caring for a reptile.

THEEEEE best place to shop for any of your reptile or critter needs. The staff are amazing and very nice. They are always willing to help! I drive 45 minutes (sometimes more) just to buy my feeder insects from them. If you are new to owning reptiles, they are a very accepting and friendly people to talk with! All of their reptiles are well taken care of and especially the store dog is the best part!

My friend and I decided to get our first reptile and luckily we came across reptile island. They were very friendly and let us hold a few of their critters before we settled on a chameleon. They provided everything we needed to take good care of her and gave us excellent instructions of how to keep her happy. They were even kind enough to help us put her cage together. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone buying their first reptile or adding another to their collection. They have a wide selection, you'll definitely find one with a personality that suits you. We love our chameleon, we named her chai. Thanks so much for your help guys, and we'll definitely be back.

All of the staff are extremely reliable and knowledgeable, they have a wide variety of reptiles and other pets. The staff was so knowledgeable and helpful. They let my daughter hold Ball Pythons! My 10 year old daughter is getting her ball python here! I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants high quality reptiles and equipment. If your getting a reptile there are LOTS of reptile choices.Snakes, Monitors, Toritises, Frogs, Geckos, and more!

Love this place, got my hypo red bearded dragon here. He's so awesome! The staff here is super nice and incredibly helpful with getting you set up with the right things for your reptile! Would absolutely recommend going here if you're a reptile lover!

Did not have a good experience. I had boarded my pet tortoise there for a week. The staff seemed very reluctant to help or respond to questions and requests. I had requested that they provide a small den for my tortoise to sleep in. They said they would, but upon returning to pick my pet up I found that they had not done it. When I asked why, all three staff became very rude and said it was not their fault and that I should go somewhere else to board my pet the next time. There was no apology or accountability whatsoever. Further, my pet ate a lot after I brought her home. I have never seen her eat that much, which made me question if she was being fed properly at the boarding. Never leaving my pet at their boarding again! If you love your pet and want them in a safe boarding, don’t come here.

Employees have no idea what they’re doing. Takes 10+ minutes to ring up one person while the line gets longer and longer. Young female cashier forgot to ring up my crickets and the person in front of us’s crickets as well. The store offers a used supply section and will sell them if you sort through the bins and find something you like. My boyfriend found a reptile light timer and a water pump. Male employee claims they are using them and can’t sell them to us, acts like we took them off of the wall. These products were sitting in the bins for months before we sorted through them, not to mention there were more pumps and timers thrown in the bin and forgotten. Tries to charge full price for dirty used products.

I come here regularly for my reptile needs, I'm just a newbie when it comes to snakes but they always have a lot of good information and aren't judgmental. There feeder rats are very affordable and good quality, the customer service is great they try to make sure you get exactly what you need.The animals all seem like they're in good condition and the husbandry standards seem high. There's also sometimes a very lovely dog who will greet you as you walk in and is very sweet.10/10

This place is the best for reptiles and the accessories they require. Super nice people, animals are always healthy, amazing selection. Super consistent, high quality and they really care about the animals.The manager Tristan takes real pride in the business. He is super helpful, cool to my 11 year old when she wants to shop, and just really attentive to whatever is going on in their store.They have a unique selection and good prices on feeders (bugs, rodents, etc.) Definitely a great shop!

We go here every week for crickets. The staff is super nice, they have a dog that you get to pet (who doesn’t love that!?) and their reptile section is pretty good. My son had purchased a lot of pets from here and they’ve been helpful with any questions we’ve had.

Employees seem really friendly and informative, but the store itself smelled rancid to a point it was hard to breathe and the poor critters were crammed into tiny tanks with multiple in each one that definitely needed to be cleaned.

This place had a great selection, was well maintained, and had excellent customer service. The selection was large and the animals all seemed very happy and healthy. You could tell they were taken out regularly and enjoyed human interaction. Cages were all well kept and clean. The monitor I held was incredibly friendly and lively. Staff answered all my questions about the monitor- even about getting a wooden cage built. Oh and the prices for habitats and accessories are very reasonable.Staff was very very friendly and helpful. I originally went to RI for a Australian frilled dragon, which was one of the few reptiles they didn't have. The guy was kind enough to call the owner to check with their supplier about getting one in for me. They got back to me promptly with more information on the lizard. Overall, I had a great experience and will be returning soon.
