I visited 3 different places looking for a 10–1.25 tap within 2 hrs in Phelan all that I heard was we don’t have it and decided to go to this hardware store in Wrightwood looking for this little automotive tool and as soon as walked a older gentleman asked me if can assist me with anything and i told him what I was looking he said let me check after looking in all possible places he said I don’t have it but I can definitely get for you tomorrow by 9am this gentleman is what customer service is about. He went the extra mile to make my project possible. Thank you so much. Chris

The quintessential "everything" hardware store and a perfect match for the quaint village feel of Wrightwood. The perfect day or weekend place to visit. The whole staff is great, but I have known Chris for more than 40 years. We came in looking for five items needed for cabin repairs, and we left with seven items. As it should be.

Wrightwood is very fortunate with this hardware store. It easily could have been unfriendly with high prices. Instead, it has competitive prices and knowledgeable, friendly staff. I always enjoy shopping there. The staff is helpful and will even suggest alternatives if they don't have what you want. They also will order for you.

Went in for chains and locks. Super friendly folks and awesome service. We just opened a new gift shop in town. They had heard of us and offered a warm welcome and were very helpful. I left feeling like I made new friends.

I love small mountain town hardware stores like this. Although some of their prices are higher and variety is smaller than Home Depot and Lowe's, it is well worth it because I'd spend more money and time driving to Victorville. So far, I almost always find what I need. The staff is very kind and helpful, too, which cannot always be said of Home Depot and especially Lowe's (lately).

The staff are absolutely knowledgeable, super friendly and always take the time to help you with your needs. They will go out of their way if they don't have a particular product, they will order it for you. It's kind of like an old fashioned atmosphere. I appreciate their friendliness!

Every time I go to this hardware store I think why do I go to Home Depot or Lowe's? It seems to have everything you need in a pinch. Customer service is awesome here every time! Mike helped me and took the extra time to give me all of the plumbing parts for an emergency fix. Also bought some cleaner that only seems to be found at this hardware store , that's way better than CLR that took off all the hard water residue that we get in the mountains and high desert.

The staff is knowledgeable. I asked about chainsaw maintenance during the checkout process, and the guy taught me how to use a grease gun to lubricate my chain saw bar. I'm feeling more confident now about the process.

This is a classic old school hardware store. If you have never experienced one you must visit, even if you do not need anything. Very friendly knowledgeable staff. If they do not have your item the will order it or tell you where it can be acquired. I highly recommend this establishment.

I didn’t get as good of a service as others. I saw the staff interacting with a group or a family before us laughing and being friendly. But when it was our turn, they did not smile and greet us or ask if we find anything okay. Just checks out and no smiles. When it was us asking questions, they kind of answer it simply in one sentence and didn’t elaborate. I asked for the map and the staff would tell me the direction but when I ask about the road that is closed, they said “oh yeah that road is closed.” No apologies but like you were going to lead us there when you know the road is closed? I felt a bit unwelcome as a minority. Just disappointed that they sound friendly over the phone and meeting in person is a complete different story. I hope the staff can be more open to different ethnicities and at least be more welcoming.

Small-town Hardware Store, wheelchair accessible. This is the kind of Hardware store that maintains inventory that is specific to the area' s needs. Great overall selections covering abrasives, fasteners, custom paint, heating hardware, cleaning, house and cabin hardware, lumber and general building supplies, septic stuff...on and on...and best, they are knowledgeable, just tell them what you needand they will help... if you just ask....

I came to town for three weeks and the forecast called for snow later in the week. I went to the store and asked for chains. The sales person was very polite and said "you know it is not snowing, right?" He then told me that chains are not returnable, which I understand, and they had plenty in stock. The price was $186. I thought it was high, but that is the only store that sells chains here. When it started snowing, I went back to the store to buy them. The only catch was that now they were $291. SHAME!

A wonderful hardware store. Smaller in appearance than Ace in Phelan but much larger in resources, knowledge and experience. I've never not found what I needed though sometimes I have had to ask for help finding it. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Love this place. Everyone is so kind. Some stuff is a little outdated as far as home repair items, but probably because they match the esthetic of the cabins in the area.
