My dog was not up to par. They got me in and checked him out, got him correctly diagnosed with kindness and courtesy. I was informed of everything every step of the way. If a test needed to be ran, they informed me the pros and cons of why they were doing it, and the price so there was no surprises. Thanks to everyone there, my dog was doing and feeling better hours later.

My Family member...My Cat named Mama developed Diabetes very quickly. Yolo Vet was very Compassionate and Cincerned for her well being. Givung me a supply of insulin, needles and diabetic cat food. To no avail, I had to make the decision to send her to yhe Rainbow Bridge since I could not stand to watch her suffer. They gave me extra time to be with her and gave me their condolences many times. I am devistated still. Yolo vet suprised me with a card saying... (They hand wrote) All of us at Yolo Vet would like to express our deepest sympathy for your loss of Mama. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. The card printed words are...May the empty place in your heart soon be filled with memories you've made and the moments you've shared with your beloved Friend. Thinking of you with deepest sympathy.

This is the 2nd vet clinic I have been to in the town of woodland and I have to say it is a very nice clinic. The staff is friendly and they know what they are talking about and they don’t hesitate at all to help with you and your animal. They genuinely care about you and your animal.

Since my original review, very shady interactions happened with this office. Please note, the vets were fine here. It's a front office woman who behaved utterly unprofessional.After boarding my dog, we were charged an 'exam fee' on top of the boarding fee and extra money I paid for additional daily activities. When I inquired about this, they said because they had to sedate my dog during his stay because he was so nervous (my dog just had his regular exam with them a few months ago). When I asked how then, was he able to do the additional outdoor activity time I had paid for because he was sedated, I was told 'he got it, definitely'.This is my dog's regular vet of two years, I walked out feeling duped. I was irritated but they wouldn't talk to me about it.Yesterday my neighbor picked up her small dog from them after holiday boarding and was disappointed that she was charged some 'exam fee' that was never part of prior boarding fees (also her regular vet). Her dog was not sedated.Poor communication. Unexpected fees. No trust.

Great experience! Brought my daughter's cat Bear in because he was limping and has a reoccurring eye infection. We arrived a couple minutes late (I am injured and on crutches) the staff was kind and welcoming, we waited maybe 5 minutes to be seen.DVM Laurie was awesome, very efficient and gentle about his leg and explained what was happening with his eye.The cost for him to be seen and his treatment was reasonable. I will be bringing all of three of our cats here for regular visits and check-up's from now on. To the all the staff Thank You!

This is was my first time at this place as I am new to Woodland. I really appreciated that I could an appointment within week. Everyone I spoke to there was kind and helpful. My dog needed her glands to be expressed and it was done in a good time. I’m definitely coming here again.

My senior cat had a hematoma on his ear that that appeared seemingly out of nowhere. I called Yolo Vet Clinic as soon as they opened and they were able to get us in for an emergency visit and they were ever so thorough and attentive with my little boy. The vets and staff here are beyond helpful and you can tell they love what they do. They're also super responsive with phone calls and very diligent at calling back to give updates on lab results.

The Dr's and staff are so kind. They let you know what's going on with your fur baby in a caring matter and don't go the expensive route first. When I had to lay my Scrappy down they were so good and caring. I appreciate them very much.

Please avoid this place. Your pets and you deserve to be treated with kindness and compassion. Staff was rude, in a hurry, and clearly wanted to be done for the day, as we were the last appointment especially Lisa, who rushed with us and basically pushed us out the door. Later when we went back and spoke to her about the error she had made, she was annoyed I had gone back, continuously rolled her eyes, and blamed me for her mistake. Not once did she apologize. Please save your fur babies and yourself from such a terrible experience.I took my dog here because of the good reviews it had but if you notice they are from YEARS ago.

I had to have a drain removed from my dog's emergency surgery incision when he had started to heal. The staff was wonderful. They we're all so welcoming and kind. They took great care of my pooch and didn't charge a dime. I will return for all of my canine needs.

Yolo Vet has been my favorite veteran clinic for years. My fiance and his family has been using Yolo Vet for decades.The staff and Veterinarians are kind hearted, professional and genuinely care about all their clients' & parents (people).Yolo Veterinarian Clinic is a wonderful place and I'd recommend it in a heartbeat.

All my experiences with this vet has been beyond amazing! My male cat has blocked numerous times, & they were very understanding with my budget and worked with me and still saved my Pepe. I swear my cat has a death wish; years ago, he got attacked by a raccoon & wasn't doing too good, again Yolo vet saved him. But thank god for DR. Lori B. Very grateful for her.

Our dog had started throwing up and not eating, we took her here and they informed use she was gassy and wanted to test her poop. They gave use some meds for her discomfort and something to soak up her stomach contents and sent us on our way. Well a poop test couldn't be run because she wasn't eating, so that was no help.She seemed to get a little better then worst. Her vomit became far fouler in smell, she began shaking like she was freezing and refused to eat anything what so ever.We heard from a friend that apparently this clinic wasn't that great so we took her to the Woodland Veterinary Hospital. Here they immediately ran x-rays and saw that she had something like a hair tie in her stomach and some kind of cord running into her small intestines.What ever this cord thing was had actually cut through her small intestines in 3 places and had to have immediate surgery. We are waiting to get our dog back but everything is looking better for Marcy our dog.TL DR; Yolo Vet didn't do a simple x ray and had us keep our dog in horrible pain for a week until we couldn't take it and took her else where to save her life.Avoid this place at all cost.
