The store had closed early due to expected bad weather but Brenda saw us outside, reopened the store, helped us find some great hats and an outfit, and even entertained our three kids with all of the saddles, hats, and ropes. Christine was awesome and helped me into my first pair of riding shoes. She was funny, kind, patient and took plenty of time to explain everything. The store itself is huge with a wide selection of pretty much everything. I’ll definitely be back as I get further into my horse riding career :)

This has everything you want or need for you and your horses. It is large, and well arranged. For all the merchandise that is there, you do not feel cramped as you move around. It is worth the 45 minutes from my home to come and shop for quality products. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about your needs and offers good advice for you to make the final decision on a purchase. Woodland also has good eating places to make the trip even more worthwhile. My barn has a Christmas party there once a year. We all go if we are able.

Just had a great experience with salesperson, Axel..he showed mesome nice used saddles and gave lots of information. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. I bought a pair of Ariat paddock boots that fit perfectly. The store has a wide variety of tack, clothes and horse supplies. I even asked for senior discount and got it. Excellent overall service !

I was amazed by how huge this store is. I went in searching for a pair of boots and we ended up with 3 pairs of boots, socks, gloves and a few other items. The quality and selection of in stock products is great! The staff here is very friendly and knowledgeable. They even stayed late because they didn't rush us and we hadn't looked at the time. I totally recommend them and am certain we found "our store".

We visited multiple track shops on our trip up the coast. This was the best one we stopped at in California. My friends called it the 8th wonder of the world, made just for horse people. More English than Western but plenty of both. Adorable clothes, cute and functional shirts for show or pleasure, large jean selection, bits of every kind, pads, wraps, and ear bonnets in every color... And so much more. We will stop by every time we drive through from now on. 😁

Drive 25 mi to see "the largest tack store in Northern Cal" No one helped my wife get anything she needed. Boxes and merchandise everywhere yet we couldn't figure out where ANYTHING was. We called before we traveled and they stated they had a wide selection of boots. They only carried one brand.....that we could find. Don't waste your time!!!

The selection is excellent, but what really sets Tack Warehouse apart from other stores is its fantastic staff. Ingela, Holly, Alyssa, and Pat have all gone above and beyond to help me... The new girl hasn't helped me yet, but I anticipate the exact same product knowledge and helpful demeanor that I always experience here. There just isn't a better or more fun place to shop, period.

I sent a request for a price match in which an acknowledgment is to be received with 24 hours according to the website. It has been a week and no reply has been received. I had to call them and get a new email address. Waited another week and still no reply. Called again and got a 3rd email address. After all that effort they did not even have the product in stock and no delivery date expected. BigDweb has competitive pricing and available product. They never disappoint for online shopping and they do mark that product is out of stock with expected delivery dates.

Management and customer service are horrible for the store. I try to get into contact multiple times with the management they refused to call me back and will only speak to me via email. They don’t even sign their name in their emails, I don’t even know who I’m speaking to at this point it could be a person working at the register. I ordered a pair of mountain horse boots it was coming from the manufacturer in Pennsylvania the boots did not work the company would like for me to pay shipping back to California for these boots … how is that fair? A company should be able to lose a little bit of money in order to please their customers. I highly recommend to stick to a shop like SmartPak or Dover if you need any items for yourself or your horse which may need to be returned because they offer free returns and no hassle.

Horrible horrible Business Owner, have been going to this shop for 30+ years and we love it there. We go in and start talking about buying something online and they badger us for wanting to buy something online, it was a personal and quiet conversations to ourselves then the Owner Barges up to us and starts insulting us and then THREATENS to post a video about us online. Never going again miss out it use to be

So happy we went there to find boots. The personnel were very knowledgeable, and narrowed down which boots were appropriate for my sport, and kept it within my price range. It's a bit of a trek to go to Woodland for us, but I'll make the effort to return. Thank-you so much Tack Warehouse!!

Good selection and great prices.Nice selection of English and western wear, including English schooling (Ovation and Tipperary) and show helmets, breeches, and some English tall boots. Some used English saddles too (maybe a dozen or so). Prices on helmets were the same as online. Friendly staff.

Went here for tge first time today. So impressed, I love this place they have all the stuff you need for animals, lots of farm type clothes amd boots. Got some baby chicks here they were very knowledgeable and helpful. Support this local biz!

Disappointed. Drove 3 hours from Reno after being told yesterday on the phone that they had "14,000 sq feet of saddles in stock ". Expected a large warehouse based on the phone conversation. Wasn't even greeted at the door and they had maybe 15 western saddles total. Really really disappointed.

this place is horrible, i used my hard earn money that took me a while to earn to buy theses boots and i accidentally got the wrong size and i went back to return them and they told me i couldn’t and i couldn’t exchange them either so i would recommend to not buy from here so now i wasted my hard earn money. waste of time
