This is unacceptable we literally threw out our whole tres leches cake it was so stale as you can see I’m lifting up the whipped topping and when we took a bite it was so sour everyone knew there was something wrong after the first bite, The label says they made it today which is proof they printed a new one just to make it seem like they made it fresh which they didn’t my sons birthday cake was thrown out I will never recommend this place everrrr!!! I Will definitely drive to la Esperanza in south Sacramento next time… ughhh disgusting 🤮 on another note I was trying to get a bottle of alcohol out of their locked case but no one could find a key to unlock it. Come on get it together people.. they need better management someone that will make sure they don’t sell very old cakes.. and better customer service. So disappointing…

I went here for the first time a few day ago, and order some food at the taqueria and I just wanted to say, the staff are some of the most sweet people I have ever met. I don’t speak Spanish and they spoke very little English but they went above and beyond to try to understand me and get my order correct. It was so wholesome and sweet. It’s actually motivated me to try to learn Spanish again. The environment in s welcoming and sweet.

I love this store! I don't speak Spanish, and many employees don't speak English, but we pieced it all together, with smiles and good will, and got our burritos exactly how we wanted them!

Good selection of cheeses/hams. Don’t buy anything from the meat section. The carnicería is always a mess, the pork/beef is gray from sitting out too long, and when It is fresh it goes bad super quick. Theres a butcher in there that has put the incorrect sku for the product I‘ve requested numerous times. Example: I got several lbs of the smaller shrimp, the label was for the more expensive larger shrimp. It’s happened on too many occasions for it to be a coincidence. I had a conversation with a former employer who confirmed that that employee was know for being careless. Milk has been rancid several times. They have an okay bakery. Their other location on Kentucky also has old meat sitting out on display too.

If I could I would rate this ZERO stars. Went to buy cheese like 4 days ago. Didn’t bother to open it, till today and the thing was sour.. it was obviously bad and had been refrigerated in my house. I went to try to return it or exchange it and the young lady at the counter had a really bad attitude and said she wouldn’t do a thing about it because it had been too many days.. it’s not the fact that the cheese it’s bad or that she didn’t want to exchange it it’s the attitude of the employee what frustrated me. Will be taking my business else where.

I was in Woodland last week & stopped by La Superior for the 1st time & was pleasantly surprised. They have a great selection of meats & cheese (and lots of other items). I was commenting about the great prices for meat to another person who gave me all info on the differences and tips on the Bakery as well. (I found out later that he was the Manager Jose M). He & all the employees were very friendly, quick to respond and courteous - & the carne al pastor was amazing! I will definately be back.

Worst place to buy Baile tickets, if the events get cancelled they do not give you your money back and make up a lot of excuses! For example they blame it on the ones pronouncing the events yet they’re the ones selling the tickets ,which makes them responsible to return the money. They also tried telling me to go to other stores saying they will give the my refund, and as soon as I go to the other store I am told that “it is not their responsibility because they didn’t sale those tickets to me “ which I strongly agree! Why would another store give me the refund if they didn’t sale them to me. Really disappointed on how this works . I highly recommend not buying any tickets unless you’re sure the events won’t get cancelled, and if it does good luck getting your money back.

Not a bad place to find Hispanic products. Food in the restaurant is good. Meat sometimes can be a hit or miss but it is getting better when it comes to quality and serves. Store has a bad rep of selling bad meat but I can attest that it's improving. Overall it has potential.
