I've used them before years ago.The auto service then was so courteous and competent and honest that I knew I wanted to return when I again needed what they do.So I did recently.And it was friendly and competent just like before.Thank you to Jim Hasseltine and his wife (they're a team)!Days after posting the above review it occurred to me that I should forewarn potential customers that Jim Hasseltine's Tire Service is truly a "hole in the wall" kind of place, but that to me was worthwhile to go out of the way for because what really gives this place its charm are the truly lovely people that Jim and his wife are.

We were on a road trip traveling I-5 North from Southern California to Washington. We had a rear tire blowout on our car about 30 miles north of Sacramento about 4:30 in the evening it took forever for us to get anyone to help us we finally got a tow truck to tow us in about 9:30 in the evening and they suggested we call Jim for help in the morning. We called first thing at 8:00 a.m. they were so responsive Jim came out to us immediately looked at our situation told us where he could get tires how long it would take and was super super helpful and fast at helping us get the tire fixed and back on the road. I would highly recommend their service to anyone.

Fast and friendly service. Family owned business that will treat you like their own. Pulled up to Ritchie Bros Auction 15 miles north & realized my tire had a slow leak. Glad I made it here in time. They hooked me up with a good used tire. Thanks much!

Twice I have had reason to stop in to visit this place, both times being unexpectedly. They never charge me to fill up my tires and check my pressure and are always so polite. Both times that I visited here, my tires were super low with the changing of the seasons and I'm very appreciative of these guys because they are the only place with air. The gas station nearby never has the air pump working properly. Not to mention its one of the very last places before you hit the country territory. Definitely don't want to be with a flat out in the middle of the country. Shoutout to José, since be just helped me. Service with a smile!

Needed roadside help after trailer tire blowout towing home from lake almanor. Googled emergency roadside near me and saw Jim Hesseltines Tire Service. I needed somebody who could bring a specific tire, remove the shredded tire and mount new one on my rim on the shoulder of i5 south. I called at 5:05pm. At 5:37pm we were driving again! Unbelievable! Fast. Price was fair. People very professional. These guys were AWESOME!

Great bunch of ppl there great service had a flat on my trailer called ahead told them I was on my way they where ready when pulled in they whent to work was in and out in less then 25 mins if u need semi tires or tire called these guys
