Went to purchase some used games, picked a few out and brought them to the counter. The cashier said he couldn't find any of them even though it was in their system. They looked for about 3 minutes and told me if I wanted a phone call to come back later if they had them, I told them no thanks cause I live a few towns away. They told me this happens quite often and their reason being is either they sold the games without the cases or it is misplaced in the drawer and it would take them too long to go through all their games despite me being the only customer there at the time. Might want to close down for a day or two and go through your inventory, which it seems like they need to do.

Since when does Game Stop close for lunch?…had a sign that they will be back in 40min but it will help to put an actual time to know when to come back. I was waiting for a long time where I ended up leaving.. they need to have minimum 2 personal to cover each other for lunch.

They have NO IDEA what they are doing even when it comes to something as simple as using a register...I had simple questions about my "pro account" that they couldn't even answer and instead insisted that I needed to "not have attitude"... lol my attitude if any, was because of the HORRIBLE SERVICE you fricken dingus. Real genius that guy.I actually had to call the DAVIS GAMESTOP just to get my situation resolved... that's fricken sad guys...Woodland GameStop is COMPLETE TRASH !!!DO NOT SHOP HERE !!!Davis at least has competent employees.I PROMISE GameStop has LOST A PRO MEMBER for good !!!I'm done with your guys B.S.

Went in bought a new console and a game. I was not told my membership was expired so i could renew. I talked to customer service about getting my points for the purchase they were rude and sarcastic.

I had a very pleasant experience and I love coming to this gamestop, however I am worried the upper management does not care about thier employees. When I came in today, the employee Rayn, was very hardworking and happy, but unfortunately it appeared that he was the only person working and would have to be the only person working from 8am until 7pm. Extremely unfair and overworked. He was such a good employee and did not deserve to work in those conditions.

The lady that helped me was very knowledgeable. I went in just ro poke around and find a game to get into because I have beaten breath of the wild more than a handful of times and am now bored waiting for the new one. She asked about my interests and play history and recomened not one but 2 games for me. Honesty if i was left alone i wouldve looked at all the games for about and hour and walked out with 1 if any at all. She was great at recommending not 1 but 2 games that I have been enjoying.

10/10 the best game stop there's ever been. I go in there with literally nothing in mind, just seeing what would make a good Christmas present, and the staff was super nice. They told me about the sales and even told me they had a new controller for only like $2 more. They also make for good conversation, no pushiness at all.

Bianca, the store lead, was so great, super helpful, woks efficiently with multiple customers at once. I had some really old gift cards and she called and got me the money that was on it!! I love gamestop. Thanks bianca!!! Best birthday ever LOL

I ordered a bundle of three used games online and one of the games I received was the wrong game, so I came into this location to get help. The employee Tyler was super kind and helpful in walking me through the steps it would take to get the right game. I was refunded for the incorrect game and able to pick up the correct used copy. 10/10 would recommend coming to this location if you need help with anything!

The people who work there are nice and know their games. If you need help they can help you quickly depending on what it is of course. I have been going there for years and have never had any problems. So if your looking to buy games quickly this is the place to go.

The woodland Gamestop is one of the most professional game stores that I have ever been in. All the employees are fun to talk to and very knowledgeable about the gaming industry. Definitely come here to order your games and console accessories! They also have really good deals on other merchandise, such as shirts, toys and electronics.

Came by recently to buy a Switch for the new Fire Emblem. Guy at the counter was super friendly and helped me with my questions while also suggesting things I might need, without seeming like he was blindly up selling. Wish I remembered his name but he was very fun to talk to and helped me out greatly. Shame this one is not in my home town, I'd come by more often.

They said that I could just take a picture of the QR code to get a shinny pokemon so I did take a picture of the code but when I got home it didn't work and I had to download pokemon pass to use the code but I had to be in THE STORE to scan it with the app and THEY NEVER TOLD ME THAT I HAD TO DO ALL OF THAT and 1 star is to generous if I could give 0 stars I would.

It's a GameStop, same as any other GameStop in the U.S. You'll find the same games, the same teens working the counter who don't know or don't care what they're talking about. Sometimes you get the occasional employee who actually knows what they're talking about and can help or give honest advice about a product or game. Other than that, the games are priced the same as any other GameStop, yet sometimes cheaper than Walmart or target. When I go in here, I usually come in knowing what I'm looking for, or make a payment on a prepaid game. They have a lot of games for all consoles and take part in the newest releases so I don't have to go to another city to find what I'm looking for.

Best gamestop in the area. I came here to get an Oculus Quest that was the only one left. The manager was awesome and informative. He really went the extra mile to see if that one was available.The store has awesome merchandise for all the best anime, games, and movies. Great service.

I usually like gamestop but they had barely anything here. No ps5, no xbox one, not even a nintendo switch, no handheld consoles, just the games for the consoles you cant buy here. So if you got a console already feel free to shop here but if youre looking for one, dont waste your time coming here.

WOODLAND GAMESTOP: I live in Marysville, but come to Woodland 1-2 times per week on business, and since I love gaming, I have frequented GameStop. I am a card carring member and have purchased multiple platforms for both myself and family members as gifts, I've purchased new and used games, and am familiar with trading, as well. I had purchased a game for my XBox One that was suppose to play on it--according to the clerk. It was a 360 game, but was assured it was compatible. I took it home and it was several days until I got a chance to open it and try it out. Nope. It didn't work. I then went to the internet to check out the particular game for myself. It, too, said, no go. So, the following week, I called the Woodland GameStop, told them about the problem, and I was assured that I could bring the item back for a full refund. A week went by, and I finally got to Woodland with the game and receipt. The clerk looked at the item and said he couldn't accept the item for return as it had been opened. I explained that I had been assured it was compatible, when it wasn't. He said he was sorry, but that was store policy. I went around and around with him again a few times relating the whole story with many customers watching in amazement as both he and I got a little louder. I asked to talk to his manager, and he said he was the manager. Whether he was or not, I do not know. At my rope's end I finally asked if I could at least get store credit for the game and he yelled back at me he wouldn't do that either, that he had done everything he could for me, and that because of store policy, he could do no more. He kept saying that. Store policy wouldn't allow him to do anything. The following week I went to a GameStop in Yuba City, and what a different story, I got there. At once, the clerk told me that I never should have been assured that game was compatible because there is a list the clerk could have easily checked. Second, I was overcharged. Third, I didn't get the credits on my card. Fourth, this clerk was polite and willing to help me where the Woodland GameStop clerk wouldn't. So, I know that the only policy was that the Woodland store made up there own police and customer relations were not important to them. I will never shop at that store again. I continue to be a member of GameStop, but now I am loyal to the Yuba City store. It seems to me that as long as they are taking your money they are happy with you, but as soon as there is a problem, watch out, you don't know how they will treat you.

The employees at this store are very knowledgeable and freindly. The management is very professional and ready to assist when you need extra help. Fair prices and a good selection of video games!!!
