This place is absolutely amazing! Stephanie has a LOT of experience cutting standard poodles and she is currently the groomer for our 19 month black Standard Poodle Dashiell. He loves jumping in the car going there and seeing her and everyone there, he’s beautifully groomed, it’s a very clean and upbeat environment and best of all, Dash comes home after his “half day spa day” happy! Poodles/“Oodle” mixes are notoriously labor intensive and can be difficult to groom - to do Dash as a wild PUPPY, she’s got amazing talent and genuinely loves all of the dogs she grooms. They are booked solid, I highly recommend bringing your dog in to Fur-Friend-Z so the groomers can see them & you can meet each other and try to schedule them in. We did this with Stephanie and she fell in low with our charming yet mischievous puppy. The first picture (with longer ears) is Dashiell at 6 months old and the last one is two weeks ago at 18 months. He always comes home running in with a handsome cut and a beautiful new scarf or bow tie on afterwards. 5 Stars - you cannot do better!

First groom was great,3 months later I show up and she doesn’t recall our appointment but does a full groom, schedule for 3 months go in she’s not there they call her in she does half my dog and says she has a doctors appointment. I ask why she didn’t cancel if she had an appointment? She got very upset and tried to say I wasn’t answering my phone? I said I was in the office at 9, you never tried to call me, she then called me a liar! Very unprofessional setting! Won’t be giving her my money again.

Very quick service, friendly, available appointments within a few days of calling. They use a dremel for trimming nails - leaving nails smooth and shorter than when trimmed with clippers.

Stephanie and her crew love dogs and treat them very well. The grooming is sharp and stylish, and our boys always look great. The shop is clean, organized, and has fun artwork adorning the building that matches the twinkle in the owner's eyes as she welcomes you inside. I feel very lucky to have found Fur Frenzy.

A no call, no show after a standing appointment for months was ignored. I received a text less than one hour before the appointment to confirm, but nothing after and not a word since then about why or about rescheduling. I tried multiple messages and wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. Now I have to wait to get in elsewhere and was irritated enough I needed to amend my previous review to reflect the value of service received from this business. :/

Fantastic! My husky smelled SO BAD... like rotten old food after a 5 day visit to Blue Ridge Kennels. I washed him and it made zero difference!! My normal place in Vacaville was booked until late Dec... I called and she helped me by getting Potter in within 2 days! Wow! He smelled fresh and clean and looked absolutely beautiful!!! It was a bit pricey at $125, but I honestly HAD to do it. I’m so thankful and pleased with how friendly and loving they were to me and my dog. Thank you! I’m very picky and absolutely would recommend them! Plus they let me mail a check! So nice!!

We've done self-service dog baths at Fur-Friend-Z for 3 of our dogs over the years, including one huge dog, and the facility set-up makes it so easy and convenient. The owners and staff are wonderful, and the prices very reasonable. Also, all the other dog customers are calm and happy at this salon, even when their owners aren't there. Happy to recommend Fur-Friend-Z as an excellent local business where they really care about your dogs and love what they do.
