Tina from Dixie's Paws and Claws is amazing! My floofy baby is so good in there with no vocal drama while being groomed (given the husky breed) because of the time and effort Tina puts towards each animal that comes in there. My dog hates her back end touched and come time, it gets pretty bad but Tina has the magic touch to get it done and my husky always feels so soft, free of tangles, claws clipped and my dog actually smiles coming out of there. We call this her "paw day" and I wouldn't go anywhere else the price is worth the treatment they get!

Very good place. The ladies and the people that work there are very gentle and my dog loves them. He's very funny about getting his toenails trimmed but by Weimaraner he loves going there. No problems. Great people. Great atmosphere. Great prices

The grooming was fine but the next day they were to groom my other dog and canceled when I was almost there which should have been done an hour or so earlier than my appt.

I've been taking my pet dog to them for about 5 years now & I ought to say they never disappoint. My pet always comes out with the best of the best groom package & she loves it. The staff is really understanding of the best treatment you want for your pet and they are very friendly to both myself & my pet. I highly recommend them and this is an example of why I like to support local businesses because they know the way.

Dropped off my baby for her first grooming appointment yesterday, 100/10! They were so nice and my puppy came back looking absolutely adorable!! Definitely recommend, great price as well.

Great customer service on the phone. Unfortunately they were already booked out for 3 weeks. My parents took their dogs there and they look great and was the reason I called to schedule mine. Unfortunately couldn’t schedule at the time as my girl was in need or a cut quickly but will be scheduling in the future knowing that they are so busy. A month out on appointments speaks volumes for a company.

I love love this place, my dog has been going there for years and has the best groomer Kassidy. My dog always looks amazing and well groomed, taken care of, and loved by her groomer. The staff is so loving and friendly.

My 5 year old husky has never been to a groomer before and she hates being brushed or bathed, but I brought her to Dixie's Paws & Claws to get her nails trimmed and they were fantastic. My husky treated them to a lot of barking but they were able to quickly trim her claws without any issue.

The staff was incredibly rude to my fiancé when he asked for cut recommendations for our dogs first grooming and even proceeded to speak to him in a condescending tone about what the breed of the dog was. They were not friendly to the people or the dogs being groomed and I would NOT recommend this place to anyone in Woodland.

Top notch operation with folks who are more than accommodating and great with animals. The floofs love to visit. This place is busy, which is a good thing! So, get your appointment on the books early and stay on top of floof maintenance.

My dog Cabella was shot by my old neighbor 5 years ago. She now has severe panic attacks and is very fearful of everyone. The first time I took her in Dixie's,the staff wanted to put a muzzle on her but changed their mind after they found out about her past They treated her with much respect and now I won't take her anywhere else but this awesome place. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart.

I take my dog here every few months and that they are reasonably priced and very friendly! I've even had them paint my dog's toe nails pink which was really cute

I took my nephew, a Bichon in for a full groom; His mom was flying in to take him back home after her vacation. The appt. was scheduled for 9:30 A.M. I got there at 9:25 A.M. to be told that his appt. was at 9:00 A.M. WOW! Horrible! I had to call my nephew's mom, who was at the airport in Southern CA, getting ready to travel to Sac to pick her son. Anyways, Paws and Claws took my nephew in for a 10 A.M. appt. I showed a picture how he was to be trimmed...OMG! If they did not know how to groom Bichons, I wish I was told that there was no experience in grooming a Bichon; It was a horrible trim job on my nephew.A man behind was scheduled to drop off his babies (2 dogs) for grooming at 9:30 A.M., according to him but, was told his appt. was at 9:00 A.M.This is the reason for 2 stars; Poor scheduling and horrible Bichon trim after showing a picture of how he is to be trimmed.

Great selection of holistic and upper level foods, excellent prices, and amazing customer service. I only dropped by to browse and left with free samples for my GSD. The lady behind the counter was amazingly knowledgeable and friendly. I am definitely coming back again!

So it says they're open till 5:45 But when you call for an appointment for nail trim they won't take appointments past 2 because of covid, does not make sense, I needed a few supplies guess they lost a customer will find another establishment! I'm sure you don't care though!

Pam is our groomer there at Dixies and I absolutely love her I followed her from her old place of businees wich was Fur Friendz and they are awesome as well. Pam has taken care fo my Princess Fiona my 4 yr old St Bernard since she was a year old and I love Pam she loves my dog and treats her like royalty. If you want a loving dedicated groomer go see Pam at Dixies she is amazing. Dixies is a great place for food and quality grooming. Thank you Pam for all you do for my Fiona.
