This place is almost a one-stop-shop for everything. From apple juice to yams and then some. They have a deli that serves up delicious lunches, hot or cold, sandwiches, soups, etc you name it, you got it. Helpful, friendly staff always willing to go the extra mile. Can't find it? Just ask someone, they'll take you right to it. They a great greeting card section with great choices for any occasion. Alongside that is a great floral department willing to custom make your most precious selection a guaranteed hit whatever the occasion. Produce is always fresh and crisp. Meat department serves up the best variety of beef, pork, and chicken. Not sure how to cook that London broil? Ask the butcher, he'll give you the best advice and it's always spot on. So whatever you go to 3 or 4 stores for, you can cut out the miles, save a little time spending some time to explore the deepest corners of this little gem of a grocery store. Boldly hidden in the depths of Woodland. Easy to get to from the 113, off at Gibson and go east one block and you are there. Grab a lunch special or a whole cartful of food and flowers, but be sure to check it out. You won't be disappointed.

This place is terrible!! When I went to the delicatessen one day at lunch there was nothing cooked. Today I went and they had stuff cooked but was temporarily closed at 12:00pm. If you're providing a service, then do so if not then don't bother.

I never thought I would say this… Walmart is better than BelAir! They are the worst in town. Never have what you want, expect everyone to self checkout. Now I go to Walmart and Food4Less. I still go to Belated r, but they are terrible.

Very disappointed with this order. I ordered a Winnie the Pooh cake 5 days in advance I sent my niece in and it was not ready at the time I had told them. And I recieved this falling apart ugly cake I cant even take a decent picture of my son with this!

Nice store. It was my first visit but fairly easy to find what I needed. Checkout was fast and cashier was pleasant.Update: I've now been here several times. As pleasant as ever. I came today right when a highschool was letting out and there were kids EVERYWHERE! Very nice, well mannered amazing young people. Very nice experience. As always, everyone was very nice and friendly, even the shoppers. A+

I heard about a sale they were having on tri tip roasts, and the butcher trimmed and cut them down for me so beautifully. I really appreciated it, and what a great deal! The checkers were awesome and friendly, too.

This store is awesome. So much selection and a great price range. Especially now when my husband and I are trying new healthier options I'm finding more choices that suit our interests. I found a great ready made cauliflower pizza crust today. Can't wait to try it!! I also love that they feature locally grown produce and products.

Staff was friendly. Store was clean. Shelves were stocked nicely and neatly. Large selection of items. Meat and produce were extremely fresh. Prices were surprisingly low. Sanitizing stations at the entrance. I was looking for a couple of things in the wrong places, and within 15 seconds or so there was a member of the staff available and willing to point me in the right direction. Aaaannnnnddddd I didn't have to worry about my car getting dinged up in the parking lot as they seemed to have the carts pretty well all collected. I felt like a customer. A person. Like my business mattered. It was a breath of fresh air. Will definitely be returning here on a more regular basis.

The parking lot is horribly designed, you have been warned. The store is clean and well stocked, the employees are friendly and helpful. The produce is some of the best in town.

Elvis was bagging my groceries and noticed the rotting apples in my bag. He went beyond and actually ran to get me a new bag. It’s so busy and hectic being the holidays especially for the crew but he was still able to notice details in my cart. Thank you Elvis. 4 kids enjoyed those fruits that you changed.

A great neighborhood grocery store. Decent prices. Quality meats and produce. Wonderful staff. A few weeks ago I asked to see the manager. There was a specific product I wanted them to order. Several people came... To make sure that I didn't have a problem. The item I requested was soon on their shelves.

Store is always clean and well put-together, and the staff is always warm and friendly. I have been disappointed by the sushi quite a few times.... It's not poorly made, it's just pretty meh-tasting. I'm not sure if they're company-wide recipes that have to be followed, or if the sushi staff can have creative license with what goes in the rolls, but I feel like they could be a lot better.

I went in today with my friends and this man,who was working behind the counter at self checkout, was COMPLETELY rude. My friend had his scooter, which he allowed, continuously got told to “get off” of it, but all he was doing was reaping his foot on it. And when I said something to my other friend about it he replied “no whispering in the store” and at the very end of my experience, he shouted “Don’t come back. Have a nice day” which is ENTIRELY unprofessional!!(Edit: I’ve also noticed while reading through these reviews, that the owner is liking/replying to mostly POSITIVE comments)

What a nice grocery store! Friendly and helpful staff too. Great selection, clean and uncluttered. Their deli and bakery are good too. And you can have some Peets coffee while your spouse shops if you like. I have even used Bel Air to have community group meetings (in Peets and in their public meeting room). Being across town from me now, I don't go as often as I used to. Highly recommend this store. Really.

I've been to this store way too many times where self checkout is the only option to checkout. Today I had to use the self checkout with a cart full of groceries because the only employee working the registers was the self checkout employee. That employee was oveeseeing 8+ customers using the self checkout stations while I was checking out. Unbelievably frustrating that management is too cheap to hire more employees and choose to offload their work onto the customer. I'll make sure to shop at Nugget in the future since self checkout is not an option there.

Service and product availability has dropped since their most recent remodel. Much of the staff now consists of younger people and it has affected the store as a whole.March 4th, 2019:Been shopping here for 10 years, at least weekly. Next week we will be shopping elsewhere. They have been out of many products for multiple weeks. Nearly every aisle had multiple blocks of empty or very low stock. Their own brand items are always fully stocked, but we don't prefer their brand.Continued problems with bagging... It is as if they give zero training on how to bag. Bags are always overloaded making them too heavy and full to grab both handles with one hand. Items being tossed back in the cart and not bagged despite requesting everything be bagged.

I love this place, it's so nice, clean, welcoming, kind of high class look, compared to some grocery stores. (I realize now I may have become addicted to warehouse bulk buying, for cost efficiency) This is NOT a warehouse type store, and the "space" feeling says so. But the prices, are perfect.I was just surprised, I used to stop here a lot when it was first built, and I was going to the college, easy to swing by, and grab my items for meals. I MISS THIS WIDE ASSORTMENT/SELECTION of products. LOL Never considered myself in a food rut, until I saw packages for stuff I "used to use/make".I will be back.

Wonderful! A actual human sh!$ on the side walk out front...But it seems like they are trying...I like to shop there. Let's hope the orange juice has cameras or ankle monitoring systems. He he he! Great store.

I am frustrated with this store. Service is not consistent. It is hit or miss to find someone to help you at the customer service desk. The bakery people have always been kind and helpful. I have witnessed employees standing around the front doing nothing when there are long lines. There is always something to do in an operation of this size....But my biggest complaint is inaccuracy of pricing. I always check my receipts and the past several visits I have found mistakes. Items are either mislabeled (last night I had Hass Avacados on my receipt- no avocados in my cart as I always buy these at Costco), or not labeled correctly where they are stocked. I often choose by price if two items are similar. When I get to the register the more expensive similar item is charged. Sometimes I catch it at the register such as Organic minced garlic in the jar last week which was stocked in the wrong row under a cheaper price. In this case I asked an employee to get the less expensive one that I had thought I chose which turned out not to be organic. Sometimes I find it at home such as Sunnyside half and half creamer which was also either mislabeled or stocked in the wrong place above the wrong price advertising a sale price that I didn’t receive. These mistakes add up and for this reason I try to buy as little as possible from my local store on Gibson.

Could easily be nice with little effort. The appearance, style, and goods feel nicer, more comfortable, and trendier than, for example, a typical Safeway would. This is all spoiled me, however, with their very poor quality sound system and their utterly boring and rather unpleasant music choices. They'd do better just not playing any music!

This is probably the best deli sandwich I have had from a grocery store service was amazing. I 10/10 would recommend - June 2017I came in to use the restrooms before my lunch break but they were a mess so I went to grab lunch and notify curteous clerks of the disarray and three of them sat there and contended with one another. I went on lunch hoping to come back and have at least the toilet paper replaced but no :/ very sadly it was in the same stressed state of which I alerted to the staff . Courteous clerk not so courteous. July 2017

The lady with the glasses came up to us (me and my friend) sitting at a table and sat down at an empty chair saying “can i sit here” (she sat down before we answered lol) and then we were in shock so we just said “i mean yes its fine” “its just ten minutes im on my break” and we had to move and get chairs for a different table 😭 the audacity is crazy it was an empty cafe she could've sat anywhere else

They are covid19 compliant. Good customer service. Cleanliness is good. Only thing i had trouble with is that one of the times i went to buy food i bought an aloe vera drink dint notice till i was home the expiration date look like it was erased so you could not tell that its was expired. Didnt like that about bel Air. They are okay other than this incident.

I've been on crutches for four weeks. During this time, I’ve been to Bel Air twice. As always, great customer service!!Three employees Andrew, Carolina & Isacc I am very gracefully for helping me with my groceries to the car; Even carrying a bag can be challenging with crutches!! All three, at different times have help me with my groceries. Even pushing a cart, is not easy while on cruches.Thank you to the Bel Air Staff!!

This store always has really fresh bread, but their customer service is horrible. When you close a check out line most stores warn you that the lane is closed. This store waits to tell you till you're next in line. I hope they put self checkout lines here soon or atleast train their cashiers better.

Nice store. It seems "sterile" compared to the Raley's on the west side of town. Same products and prices, but the atmosphere at Raley's is noticeably quite different .It's about the people, not only the staff but the customers too. The bakery and coffee shop is alive and a meeting place for many different groups of people. There my go to place for donuts, for our Bible study.
