This place has the worst customer service ever. The workers all sit and chat, never ask if you need help and the alleged supervisor (THE YOUNGER, BALD, THIN, WHITE GUY) is disgustingly rude. He talks down to customers, literally refuses to help and has no clue what he is doing. He acts like he is horribly miserable. Then he should find another job or go to college. As everybody knows, how a place is operated starts from the top. So the actual manager at this store must be a disaster. The district manager isn't any good either, along w/ their assistant district manager. If you file a complaint, they will have their phone rep follow up w/ you, not their actual manager at any level and make excuses for the poor behavior of their workers or supervisor. This is a nice store, but spend your money somewhere else. I have informed every rescue that we support and donate money to, if they spend money here we can no longer make monetary donations to them. They will not be doing business with Pet Food Express. Check the negative reviews, don't be fooled by all the positive fake ones.

Pet Food Express has the best self wash dog stations and the lowest price that I've seen. This is where we take our dog every time we wash her ourselves. They have a hose that provides rinse water, lather with choice of shampoos and conditioners, a hose for drying, silicone aprons to keep you dry, silicone collars and lines to clip your dog into the shower so they do not run off while washing, and off course dog treats to reward your four legged family member.In addition to the wash stations, Pet Food Express is a full pet supply store so you can pick up all your pet essentials.

There is an incredibly unpleasant woman working there who snapped at me ... 'move your cart over!' at the register after I dropped $400 on pet food. Then she charged me for three bags when I only used two. I got the dime back on principle, and I am now going back to Petco. The abrasive attitude of this place is not worth it.

We love this place it's a great place to wash your dog.Update:I would give it a 10 if we could. Last night our two dogs got skunked! At 8:45am my wife called Pet Food Express and left a message, as they don’t open until 9:30, asking if they have shampoo for de-skunking a dog. We called them as they have great dog bathing facilities. The manager replied immediately telling us to bring the dogs in then and he would have someone open the store for us. That is fantastic service. The clerk wouldn't even accept a tip, saying helping is their business.

Self-serve dog wash is easy to use, affordable, and convenient. Plenty of time to get a deep wash, rinse, and dry. Employees were so kind, helpful, and accommodating. I recommend visiting store, and we will certainly be returning.

I've been coming here for the last 6 months. The staff are very helpful and friendly! I wash my dog here once a week and will continue! The tubs are a nice size and is a lot easier on your back than doing it at home! I also buy all our dog food here.

Used to be great. The people make the experience. The new staff are NOT the same! The new assistant manager is not a good business promoter and just lost two of their best customers (us) due to terrible customer service. Never embarrass me! On principle! Calling me out on a promotional price that was set up in your system and honored from the store manager at grand opening! Now you come along a long time later and not only won't check your computer that our info is contained but embarass! We walked out and left about $70 of products we buy regularly on the counter and we walked OUT! Taking our business somewhere else! Your selection is weak on bird supplies and other pet supplies anyway! We stayed for the people and the price guarantee but you just botched that up. Should be demoted. Terrible.

The staff is very caring and knowledgeable and they are happy to help customers find what they are looking for and what they need for their fur baby. I have been coming here for years and they have a great selection of everything. I love the staff. Thank you all! 😊

DIY bathing is overpriced imo.You must buy tokens, each one allocates approx 20 mins of bath time. $54 for FOUR tokens!!! That's almost as much as a grooming session without the mess 🤦🏻‍♂️

Not good. Ordered special dog food 2 weeks ago and was told we would be called. Didn't happen. Then after 2 weeks was told they cant even order. Also no one offered to carry a 33lb bag for me. Their payment machine was down and water was leaking from the ceiling.

My mom and I regularly use their “self-wash” option for our pups. We came in, as always, and were shocked to find that they were giving away free washed for anyone, due to the smoke and soot from the fires. How incredible.

This was a kind and friendly environment. I didn't bring my pet but it would've been fine to. I came for the particularly large selection of from family foods as many do not carry this pet food. Not to mention it was affordable considering the food is quite expensive generally. I drove maybe an hour to get here but I'll sure be back as my pets supply is looking thin.

This a cool place however there reward system is horrible, my husband and i have been coming here for 3 years. and we have yet to get a reward you have to buy a 1000 points before you can get a reward shut!! petco is only 100 points SMH

Very clean and new and in a good spot. The entire el Camino shopping center has been redone which has made it much more popular and lively then it used to be. Its a pet store in a Convienant location.
