I stopped by parrots naturally since I was in the area and the woman in the shop was so kind! She gave suggestions on how to feed my picky conure! All of the birds there were beautiful and looked well taken care of. Would definitely go back !

I always love to visit Parrots Naturally. It's the only place I will get on the freeway to drive miles to get food for my birds. The ladies are always a joy to chat with whenever I visit. I got my bird from Judy about 11 years ago and I still have him. If you ever need toys, food, cages, or advice for your birdies, go to Parrots Naturally.

My wife and I have two parakeets. We've had 5 over the years. We've always gone to Parrott's Naturally in Woodland Hills for food, toys, cages, clippings etc. Judy, the owner and the other ladies that work there are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They boards birds while your away, and have a huge variety of different foods. Even some home mixed that Keeps love. It's about a 20 minutes half hour drive from where we live, but the best place to pick up food that's good for birds. Pricing is fair, and if they don't have something, ask Judy. Fantastic Company, with exceptional customer service. I needed a Kings Corner Cage and was having difficulty locating the one I needed. Judy went out of her way to answer my questions and address my concerns for placing such an expensive online order. She found me the exact cage, I confirmed my order on Saturday, and an amazing phone call on Tuesday telling me it was here in Charlotte NC. I was so excited and could not believe the extra goodies that Judy sent me. Unlike reviews I had read online about shipping these cages, it was securely wrapped and not a scratch was on it. Feel Mistreated. long but necessary review-Had a very poor experience today . I called last Wed to inquire about Lovebirds. The woman on the phone told me they had some babies in stock, and the breeder brings them on the weekends. She asked if I would like to make an appointment to view them and I said yes, so she booked me at 1pm today (8.15.20) I got to the store early, but because of COVID I waited in my car until 1pm before I approached the door. The door was locked so I called the store and a woman eventually came and opened the door, inquiring about my needs. I told her I had a 1pm appointment to purchase a lovebird. She told me she wasn't aware of the appointment, but let me in anyways. Judy (The store owner) was busy assisting a family but the breeder of the lovebirds had just arrived, and was loading the birds from their carrier into the cage for the day. The breeder of the birds could not have been more sweet and helpful, she was so friendly and let me hold several of her birds, while educating me on their color, their history, how old they were, etc. Judy was with this other family for 45 minutes while I interacted with the lovebirds and the breeder. By the time had had finished with the other family she turned her attention to me, and began asking me questions about my history with birds, etc.This is where it gets bad- She asked if I had a cage for the bird which I told her I did, i would just to need to purchase some toys and equipment from her to make it perfect. I explained the type of cage I had, it's approx 3 tall and 3 foot wide, it had been used months ago as luxuriously large cage for a rat, however I had already cleaned it thoroughly, and rearranged it to be fit for a bird. I had done my research on cages before modifying my own, I am 100% positive the cage I have would be more than enough for a single bird. The bars on the cage are 1/4 inch a part, everything about it is totally acceptable for a bird. Before I could explain any details about the cage Judy told me she didn't think "The rat cage" would work and that she would need to see pictures of it before she sold me the bird, then she walked away into the grooming room! Before walking away she told the other women working there to have me fill out a form so I could purchase the bird now, then come back for it once she approves my cage. I thought about it, but decided not to, as I don't know if Judy will deem my cage as "Okay" and I don't want to purchase one of her overpriced ones when I have a perfectly good cage at home.It was so awkward at that point. I had already spent almost an hour with the birds, the breeder and the other woman working in the store. I agreed to the price and everything was going great, I was ready to take home a new bird until Judy got involved. It was very awkward after she walked away, the other women seemed surprised by Judy's decision, and showed empathy for me not getting the bird.I totally understand the need of qualifying customers before purchases, I admire how much Judy cares about where the birds go, I really do. However, i can't help thinking that Judy treated me differently because I didn't want to purchase one of her cages, and/or she didn't care for me because of how I look (I'm a big man covered in tattoos) hard to say, but i could tell by the other women's vibe that what she told me was not normal.I was really excited about this, I had done so much research and prepared to acquire this lovebird as a surprise gift for my girlfriend who has owned several lovebirds in the past. This went from being a great experience to a poor one. I originally intended on going home, taking pictures of my cage and then emailing them to Judy but the more I thought about it, the less of a desire I have to return there. I would rather spend my money at another bird shop that isn't so judge-mental. I feel bad for the breeder as I'm sure she gets a cut of the sale. She was amazing, I wish I could buy directly from her, as she seemed happy to sell me the bird, it was Judy that was not.Won't be back.+

They truly are all about parrots! Judy and Betty are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and everything psittacine. They have beautiful and healthy birds, a large selection of products and an very clean store. I board my eclectus these while vacationing and they have always taken the best care of her. I highly recommend this store.

Never opens on time. Helper could not open the door to the public until Betty shows up. Owner of the store has been told multiple times that the associate can not open store on time and does nothing to address the issue. Store does not open at 10am as stated. Store opens between 10:45am and 11am.

very stressed birds. they keep baby birds in worst conditions, almost every bird is soled but for some reason on the store and not good customer service at all. if you want to get upset, this is the place to go
