Katie and crew are so caring and respectful not only of clients' needs but those of the dogs as well. I highly recommend ASDEC as both a client and a volunteer. If you need something community based to donate or volunteer with this is a great organization to do so with. And if you are in need of a service dog, they are so respectful and thorough in the process.*ETA* Even three years after receiving my dog, I still get checked in on, and can receive tips, and help training new tasks.

I enjoyed my time there even if at first I was there for community service for my school. It helped me with a lot of things, I do plan to come back at some point to help out some more. I have even used them as a reference to apply for a dog training job at petco in visalia. I would give them 5 stars but however the old person running the place had a way of doing things that broke my heart to see.. I honestly wish I had said something sooner. Other than that their cause is true and I genuinely adore the place, people and dogs. I hope covid ends soon so I can return. (P.s. I was the girl with the pink hair who wore cat socks that one time. I am a volunteer at ASDEC. This nonprofit organization has stolen my heart. The mission it's simple; teach kids, to train dogs, to help people. They have a focus in making sure that Veteran's take priority. If you get the opportunity to look them up on Facebook, please do so.

Boarded our dog with the Whittakers and was very happy with the care and attention my dog received. The place is clean and well tended. I will certainly use them next time I need to board my dog.

I was hit in the face by Gerald Wittaker. He was making a point in a lesson, I was having difficulties communicating my responses, and out of the blue he hits me with two open hands on both sides of my head at once. I dropped the dog leash and walked away from him. I was shaken pretty badly, but I am not used to being humiliated as a volunteer. Use words and not violence please.
