This store is one of the best well organized stores up in the lake area. I am aware that there are two other Dollar Generals this store Takes the Cake. It's well-organized and very helpful with product knowledge. I was very impressed with one of the employees. I was buying a case of jars and he was not only helpful but carried the case to the cashier. Impressive. This store appears to not struggle as much as the other stores with stock options being displayed on shelves. I am aware that these stores are extremely popular but merchandise cannot be sold if it is not displayed. May need to hire more people in other stores on night shift so when the store opens in the morning it's well stocked. But this store is the best thank you

It was Easter weekend ( Saturday) and very busy, but despite being busy I was impressed by the facts that it was in pretty good keep. (Meaning it was pretty clean and well stocked) The cashier was very friendly and helpful to everyone. I can honestly say next time I am up this way if I need anything I will probably be back!

The employees on duty today were very helpful. It is nice to see smiling faces and friendly greetings. The young lady working the cash register was so sweet and friendly . Your staff needs a pat on the back and to be recognized for a job well done.

Just like most dollar generals but this one has employees getting in the way constantly changing the shelving around during main business hours. I would not shop here ever if I had a choice but its the only place to get a variety of things in a 50 mile radius. This area is a beautiful place to visit or camp in but always remember to bring everything you can think of with you it will make your trip more pleasurable if you don't have to stop for anything.

Must be stock day because low on some items. The toy aisle was a mess and at least 2 employees rushed by me as I was looking at them to get assistance. Usually a great, we'll organized place, just not the day I came in.

Local cheap goods. Decent staff when they can keep employees. Terrible administration and corporate no care for their customers or employees. Dollar General is a typical billion dollar corporation out for money and financial gains at what ever lose.

A good place to find bargain prices. Selection is small compared to bigger stores but has a little bit of everything from motor oil to ice cream. A large selection of paper products at very good prices. There is also a Red Box for movie rentals outside.

Good selection of treats for my 2 dogs, so good I could hear my dogs excitement as I was making my selection. They were left at home over a mile away! And I could HEAR them in the aisle, almost as if they were there with me. THAT's howGOOD.

On my budget, Dollar General has a variety of things to keep me organized, but the store itself could stand a little more organization. There are sections of dollar items, but so many items are repeated throughout the store you have to litterally search the whole store to see if you got the best deal.

They always have new stock blocking all the shelves and walkways and aisles. Should do stocking during closed hours. Makes for an unsafe environment for everyone, not to mention unable to get what you need

They have friendly employees and try their very best to make sure your visit is a pleasant one, the store could use be better with where things are placed as it does feel cluttered, but the experience is still an enjoyable one due to the pleasant staff.

Hey management,your "Cashier's" hands are tied when cust fills basket with merchandise. No way to stage what has been rung up and what hasn't and no place to bag it! Through it all though, they manage. Associates are helpful Great prices

I go to Dollar General because it's handy and there are many things I can get there cheaper than at Vons and it's closer for me. Of course many things there that you don't want to get the off-brand items but as far as the brand names, most of them are less expensive there.Of course you do run into some items that are the same or even more. But I need a lot of things that I can get there and most of the time the store is clean and handy.

Honestly this place has a lot. Decent snacks, dog food and treats, Mexican candy, mom mom bought a lamp here! Staff was super friendly. I enjoyed my visit here. I'd come again

I waited in line for 5 minutes only to be carded for cigarettes, I am 56 years old I just grabbed my debit card and ran in , the line behind me was still a long wait so I just left without purchase, happened to me twice in one week, I mean come on I have grey hair and I am obviously old enough to buy cigs. The lines are always to long with one checker. 😢

The employees are very nice and try to be helpful but the store is more dirty and disorganized than any DG that I have ever been in. There has been dirty trash cardboard piled all over every time I have been in there. It just doesn't feel clean at all. Yuck!

I can't complain more about this location. There inventory is literally a disaster always. The store is a complete mess. I have asked for specific items multiple times to be told I should try vons or rite aid. I recently exchanged my propane tank for my bbq. We cooked three meals and it's empty. Since then I've filled up elsewhere and cooked close to 40 meals. I know for a fact there was no leak just poor quality the girl grabbed my tank and put it on the same shelf as the one gave me. I am certain I received someone else's almost empty tank. When mentioned. Sorry no refund or help. This is the worst customer service and overall experience I've ever had. I know it's not the company I've had great experiences at other locations.

They don't carry CLR, which my vet customer sent me for his swamp cooler.Bought 2 bottles of Lime Away toilet gel instead. Employees were still very helpful.

Had Pepsi on sale or so I thought never did ring up as being on sale no matter what the cashier did. Told her to cancel the order and she was supposed to have done that, but never did and found out a few days later that the charge went through my bank account and when I went back to the store to enquire about it the manager on duty was a complete b**ch and told me "what do you want me to do about that" take it up with your bank not my problem and walked away. Last time I ever step foot in that store

Everyone there is always friendly and always willing to help with a smile even though it is obvious that their corporate never really shows them respect by giving them enough hours to assure that I, the paying customer, can go there with confidence that most of the items I go there for will be in stock and/or out on the shelves! The best reason for the 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 is I can shop there, with like items, fill a cart and pay $150 while that same cart will be $300 - $350 at Vons. I always go to DG first before I go to Vons to check off my shopping list.

This store is an inexpensive store. They have grocery section , but not produce. They have clothing, cards, laundry supplies and toys. There's more than that in the store. I really like Dollar General.

Wofford Heights Dollor General: confrontational, rude, and unprofessional staff. The inside of the place is unorganized boxes everywhere over loads of mess. The Lake Isabella staff & the store is a much better choice.

I love this place. The employees are super friendly also very helpful. You would be surprised what they carry. Try DG before you go to the market and save some cash.
