We very much like the atmosphere and the wines. However, after our recent visit with friends we were very disappointed about the experience. There were four of us, two in fact members of the Tukovich wine club. We looked at the wine menu, which contained prices per bottle for non-members and members, and decided to order by the glass as we wanted different wines. We briefly wondered about the price per glass, but the bottle prices seemed very fair so we did not bother to ask for the prices by glass. The unpleasant surprise came when we paid. In all, we paid 2-3 times of what we would have paid if we had ordered by the bottle. Neither did the staff alert us to this fact, nor were we ever handed a menu containing the per glass prices. We call this deceptive if not worse, and we feel very much ripped off. Not the way to go if you want to retain your members and local fans, Turkovich Wines!!

The staff here lacks any sense of customer service. Evidently, they think acting in a non-welcoming manner is the way to gain business. Not happening. My mom and I went for a tasting with relatives last March and we all joined the wine club. Each time we’ve gone in to pick-up our wine selections, the staff displayed ZERO FRIENDLINESS OR GRATITUDE!! PATHETIC!! I can get a glass of my favorite at a local restaurant and my mom isn’t a fan any more of any of the selections. Being from Davis and knowing a lot of people here (some who have been interested in jointing the wine club), I will spread word to anybody and everybody to not only never join the wine club but to never go for a tasting. How hard is it to be friendly to customers? Evidently to the staff here, it is very hard. A real shame. Another example of how today’s society is so messed up. Common courtesy is severely lacking!

This family winery opened their doors to us before and after a hot air balloon experience. Not only was the wine tasting room clean and nicely appointed, the wines were great!We had a tasting and Sarah was very knowledgeable and kind (especially to a group of wine novices). She gave us a great recommendation for lunch and helped make a wonderful day/experience better. I highly recommend!

My favorite winery in all of Napa Valley even though it's technically Yolo County. Fabulous wine! $15/person tasting. Finally joined the Wine Club! Great location downtown Winters for dinner after your tasting at Buckhorn or Preserve or Ficelle. Just lovely!

Awesome wine and staff. My go to gift is a bottle or two from Turkovich.The patio is a peaceful little space perfect for a relaxed night out.My Bridal Party was hosted at Turkovich and I couldn't have asked for a better location. Beautiful and intimate, exactly what I was hoping for.

We walked in to see if you needed a reservation to do a tasting, since we were downtown for an event, and the employee told us they currently had seating on the patio. My husband and I walked in the direction we were directed to walk, and this blonde lady yelled, “excuse me! Can I help you?!” In this incredulous, over-the-top voice. I understand if there was a miscommunication with her co-worker, and they’re full and not taking walk-ins, but the way she approached it was way too aggressive. She even asked “are you meeting someone!?” in a super condescending tone. We only walked back there because we were told to do so. It almost felt like we were being treated like vagrants barging in off the street. We’ve been to many tasting rooms/wineries that were way more gracious when they didn’t accept walk-ins. We definitely won’t be going back. It’s a shame, because we really wanted to try their wines.

Nice tasting room in the middle of town. The place has a nice seating area in front and they recently expanded on the back with a really nice covered patio. They also have a back room that seems to be more for members. They also offer a selection of charcuterie that goes well with the wine. The wine variety is decent and include reds, white and sparkling. Defined a place to go for a relaxing time in a nice town.

Kind of a weird experience on our anniversary, to be honest. Many of the wines were not available but not listed as such on the menu, the server could not answer basic questions about what the wines were like, staff were cleaning the entire place before we left (40 minutes before closing time). However, the wine was decent, the tastings are inexpensive, and the atmosphere is nice.

We had an amazing time wine tasting for our 2 year wedding anniversary. Great customer service and hospitality. Gwen and Steven were very friendly and we had great conversations with them! We’ve spent an arm and a leg in napa valley and it doesn’t even come close to the memories we made her at Turkovich family wines! 10/10

COVID took this place down! Who owns this place now??? What a horrible experience today! I supported this place because I enjoy this town and want to support the local economy. However, this is not the kind of service I want to support. Tasting is over at 5, and that's cool, but the waiter would not allow us to order and was rude and disrespectful. He served us in a dirty glass on purpose. Never will we ever come here again! Not sure if he put anything in the glass, but I'm sure this wine does not have floaters.

Not going to lie, we liked the wine we liked the establishment, so much that we joined as members and visited frequently. After a couple bad experiences we decided to cancel. The last time we visited we had a party of 12 celebrating a college graduation, we arrived and after not even 5 minutes they asked us to move outside, we were like ok. After being outside for only approximately 30 minutes the manager came outside and asked us to keep it down, they said we were laughing too loud, they said memb toers inside were complaining about the noise coming from outside (us) we said ok. A couple people from our party went inside and confirmed, they heard no noise from outside. I went inside and noticed it was louder inside than it was outside. Remind you, we were the only ones outside. After that I said let's cancel our membership and get out of here, obviously we don't fit the profile for valued members. So keep in mind, if you want to visit winters and have a nice quiet evening, Turkovich is nice, if your looking to have fun, steer clear.

Went here on a date and the staff couldn't be nicer. I know very little about wine other than I like Reds and they made me feel welcome and gave me some great options. The date went great and the staff and atmosphere was a big part of that. I'm definitely coming back. The wine was really good too and both me and my date walked out with a bottle of our favorite from the samples we had.

Skillfully made wines and a lot of variety! Some of my favorites here are the viognier, grenache, tannat and malbec. Wine tasting here is a great way to learn more about different wine varieties. I had not tried tannat before until trying it here and found it to be smooth and delicious with subtle tannins. After trying tannat wine at other wineries, the one here at Turkovich is by far the most drinkable one I've tried.

Some of the nicest staff. Thank you Megan. Knowledgeable staff over all the many years. Chris Turkovich has an amazing palette. A passionate young man/wine maker and greatly appreciated. Out of all the many wines I've tasted and enjoyed, from near to far. Some of the best in my many years of wine appreciation. Truly the greatest value and wonderful wines. My favorite cheeses are their Winters Smoked Gouda and Pepper Jack. Thank you.

Wines are good for my inexperienced tongue. The $5 wine tasting feels like a great deal. The waiter named Chase has been very patient and good at explaining different grapes. Many of their Syrah blends taste really interesting to me, and we came back with several bottles.

This is a great family owned winery. In charming Winters California, a small town with amazing food and a fun place for gathering with friends.Turkovich makes great wines and they have a beautiful tasting room. If you like cheese they have some of the yummiest cheeses around.

Went there to start and end our Hot Air Balloon trip. Wonderful place - very friendly and we enjoyed the time - Tasted Champaign, Wine and Cheese.Yolo Ballooning Adventures - Mike and team were amazing. They made every minute so exciting and enjoyable - starting and ending in Turkovich's. A great experience between ballooning, Champaign, Wines and Cheese!!

Great cheeses, wines crafted in the South American style by an Argentinian wine maker, friendly staff, beautiful, comfortable outside seating is optional. Literally, there is nothing not to like here.

Informative staff, Tasting a variety of wines, very good and all so different. I loved the smoke Gouda cheese appetizer I had. Making it an annual stopt for sure.
