It's an old red brick building so it's loud inside but the food is good and they have counter service, sit down inside and patio service. We stopped for lunch but on the daily board they had Gingerbread pancakes that I just had to try and they were awesomely tasty, soft and thick and you only need one because there almost as big as the plate. I ordered 2 ($14) and I couldn't finish it and I'm a big eater.

Our first time in Winters and we decided to visit this Café. Our server was so friendly, I was amazed when she brung out our Snickerdoodle and Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies because they were so much bigger than we expected. The French Toast was such a pleasant surprise! It's not always done this way but it's so delicious, I loved it. The meal portions are generous and it's pretty inexpensive. For my first time here it was such a nice experience with good company, good service and good food 👍🏽

I’m always happy with the great service, clean restrooms and menu choices. I had a fresh, flavorful salad on this visit. And a little cocktail never hurts…the Bloody Mary was spicy and yummy.Their desserts 🍨 are also delicious with many choices for a sugar rush

This café is a great stop for a relaxing lunch. The sandwiches and pizzas are delicious. I very much enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. The patio allows you to enjoy the day while taking in the charm of this vintage, agricultural town. The deserts are homemade and look delicious, though I did not indulge. I also look forward to trying out the breakfast menu. Next trip!

This is a cool place. It's the kind of diner you don't see often, at least California which isn't known for diners anyway. The omelet I had here recently was mediocre at best. But the BLT was outstanding (yes, a basic BLT was outstanding!) BUT what REALLY shines, aside from the amazing and delicious assortment of cookies and treats, are is the fried chicken sandwich! Best in this area, hands down. We drive out there specifically for this 5 star chicken sandwich.

Great spot for a quick pastry and coffee or even breakfast, lunch and dinner.Ordered the gnocchi with chicken and the gnocchi tasted homemade and the chicken was grilled perfectly being tender and juicy. Would recommend this place to anyone. Staff deserve 5 stars as well.

It's pot pie season! Went to the tree lighting ceremony in Winter's last night and had to grab a bite at the Cafe. I about inhaled my pot pie before i remembered that i should snap a pic. The best pot pies in the region. Light, buttery, flakey crust. Rich filling like it's swimming in gravey. Putah Creek Cafe, comfort food with heart. Staff friendly and endearing. It's a personal favorite..

Great breakfast! My wife and and I both had the huevos rancheros and it was the absolute best I have ever had! The carnitas on top was done perfectly, the salsa tasty and eggs were good. BTW - had 2 great bloody Mary’s - a little celebration of our anniversary! The service was friendly and the atmosphere very cordial.

The ambiance of this small town cafe reminds me of a lot of the small hometown cafes growing up. Servers with smiles and always topping you off. The red brick, farmhouse style with indoor/outdoor tables & diner barstool seating.The food was delicious and creative. Every time I have some they have always met my appetite They weren’t afraid to customize my favorite eggs Benedict order with some fried chicken. I cameIn after hiking the Berryessa, starving. The California burger, sweet potatoes fries and libations hit the spot!When I try think of Sunday brunch, this is the only spot I think of!!Enjoy!!

This is a traditional dinner. Food is plenty and tasty. The menu is diverse. The outdoor seating is great. They do lunch and dinner too. For dinner, they have brick oven pizza and they are delicious. I highly recommend this place for lunch and for relax dinner time. The restaurant is I. The middle of town. I included some pictures of town so it can also be appreciated.

Tonight my wife and I went to Putah Creek Cafe after was after the Tractor Parade. After seating at the counter I left my wife to order for me while I used the restroom. I had chicken strips with fries. Just as I came back we were served our food. Scimpy fries on my order, but I started eating. Half way through, my wife told me the lady in black had taken her hand and swiped most of the fries off the plate saying, ;Too many fries. Then had it served to us after touching my food with her hands. She turned looked at my wife and kept on like nothing happened. She had been previously handling the register and doing other things; so she did not wash her hands before handling my food. You do not touch food without washing your hands. Let alone do what she did. The only reason I did not approach her at that time is it was busy and very crowded. The service was excellent except the lady in black. Turns out she is the general manager, she should know a lot better. Food and atmosphere are usually great there, service is outstanding. I'm torn about reaching out to the owners about this.

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant. Super cute, super yummy, and totally worth the wait if you happen to come in during a busy time.I normally order the “griddle” breakfast with a waffle + bacon + eggs OR the Carnitas Huevos Rancheros.Order a latte!
