Almost every time I go there there’s a line 10 people strong. I don’t understand you have another person stocking the shelves. Why can’t that person help until the line goes down

I am very disappointed in today's service from the store clerk, the store manager,I believe. First of all, she complained about having to do both stocking the shelves and then also being a checker. Then I know for sure that she did not return my change of 4 dollars to me. I went back and questioned her and she abruptly said, "I know I gave you the change; I never make mistakes." I am usually quite happy with the variety of items in this Dollar General,but will choose to shop another store from now on.

When I can't find something in that store I asked the store employees and they take me right to it. Checkout is very smooth and cashier's very nice all of them !

I love love love Dollar General here in Winters California, I mean it's my go to store, Especially for the prices, and savings, I love the people there, they seem to be more like my little family. The stores always well stocked, due to everything that's happening it's hard to get supply and demand, no fault of their own. Yes I would recommend Dollar General to anyone. Especially when your single, my specialty microwave lol. I'm sorry to see the clothes go however I'll adjust. I feel for what I see, as someone with an associates degree in Business Administrations,this is my opinion, The CEOs of these stores make billions yet they don't recognize the hard work their employees do, I feel they are over worked and under staffed and they deserve to have people training in each area, they need more cashier's and more people stocking shelves and then a team unloading trucks. They should be paid more, I feel you get more done, and when they decide to change things they should have training for two weeks. You can't just throw people in there and assume they will learn the system right away. Proper training, lots of team work, more workers more money less turnover. Respect for your team, makes things run better. Other then that I love all my babies at dollar general, now you can get fresh produce and I can get all my meals cheaper than the grocery store

This store gives local residents an additional opportunity to buy household goods in Winters California; there are a few other places that provide some of the specific items that they do. The store was organized well, much like the other dollar general stores, so basically, if you go in one, you know where everything will be in the next one that you go in. The store seems to be stocked adequately, except for Clorox wipes. The customer service was good, and my overall interaction and experience were positive.

Love the morning staff. Store manager is cool too. Great variety of things only wish it had a bigger frozen/refrigerated section and ice cream cones. Can you believe they don't sell them here?? Also in the future I hope to see fresh veggies and fruits. Yes the store can be messy at times, give them a break they only have a handful of people working the stock. Cashier's need to be more mindful of how they bagged​ the groceries keep the eggs with the bread & non heavy items and meat separate from everything else

The manager/clerk was more concerned with the product distributor than he was about h8s customers. He was very rude. We stopped in to buy some flowers on our way to the cemetary as we live in Texas. If I lived in Winters I would do everything possible to not have to shop this store. The store was also very messy.

Great store for this town and the people that live here. Before DG you had to pay raleys Or convenient store prices for home basics or drive 11miles to nearest city. Now if you need one item DG saves money and time.

It can get a bit crowded in there and the set up can look or seem messy. But considering that it's somewhat the only retail/store that also has non-grocery items as well for decent prices? I shouldn't be complaining.However the nearest options for stores are in Dixon with Walmart or Vacaville (which definitely has more options) in my opinion. With Winters itself, you can essentially walk around to the main places and on a beautiful day it can be a nice experience.The folks in the store are friendly and I'm sure if you ask they will be willing to help when they can. They do have some grocery items like chips, some dairy products, snacks and some drinks but Lorenzo's is across the street so if you are missing anything from your shopping list but want to stay in Winters, there is Lorenzo's.

I went to the Dollar General for some dog treats for my dog Cooper. He loves these doggy they have, that I can't nowhere. But got want I needed at a reasonable price.

Great place to get all the small things needed around the house. Laundry soap, bodywash, even car cleaning supplies. I think they have the best prices and the employees are friendly.

Love this store but pricing is a little higher and clearance items are different prices than other stores. Love all workers except one manager who always calls the cops on people for no reason and is rude to people and gets away with it.

Not satisfied with their customer service. I was watched and followed throughout the store. I don't need to steal I have money. I won't be coming back to this location. Not only that, the cookies that I bought expired 2 weeks prior.

The staff are usually friendly, they don't make you wear a mask, and usually have everything in stock that I need. Sometimes the store is chaotic, but I think they're short-staffed.

This place has good deals on somethings. But there is always a line at check out. And someone between 6 and 7 pm is shift change. So it gets really slow at a fairly busy time. That's poor management.

Store is very cluttered, things are falling off the shelves, there are a lot of misplaced items on the shelves, there is so much garbage in the parking lot...I was very disgusted 😞 The people working in the store seem stressed out, possibly understaffed. I overheard two coworkers cussing on the aisle next to me, not a great image for the store.

Its the go to store for me. When i need dish soap, toilet paper, charcoal fuid lighter or other sundies DG's easy access and affordability works.

The single line they have is always so slow! Only one cashier is working usually with a line of people and all the other employees are joking around and wasting time while we all jus stand there.
